Sign up today to secure the pre-season rate for FFScout Premium Membership

Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for the 2020/21 season are still available at the pre-season cost of £17.50 – but time is running out on this offer.

Subscriptions will rise to the regular season price of £19.99 on August 31 so, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up over the next week in order to secure the best-value rate.

The yearly fee of £17.50 works out at an equivalent of less than £1.50 a month (or 5p a day!) as, instead of expiring on June 1 as was previously the case, these rolling annual subscriptions now cover a full 12-month period.

That’s better value than our rivals are offering for the equivalent all-access Premium Membership package.

If you prefer to dip your toe into the water rather than plunge right in, however, we are continuing to offer rolling monthly subcriptions for just £2.99 per month.

Existing registered users can upgrade via this link. New users, who are yet to get a registered account, can sign up via this link.

Payments can be made through Paypal or via Stripe using debit or credit cards.

Does early FPL team news really provide an advantage?

What Do I get for my money?

Well, you’ll be joining legions of other Fantasy managers by signing up, including former Fantasy Premier League winners Adam Levy, Simon March and Tom Fenley.

Thousands upon thousands of FPL bosses take advantage of our subscriptions and sign up every year, using the stats and tools to aid their Gameweek planning.

PRO PUNDIT ARTICLES

You’ll get exclusive content from some of the best Fantasy managers in the business, including Hall of Fame number one Fábio Borges, ex-champion Simon March, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman, three-time top 200 finisher Lateriser and six-time top 5k finisher Zophar.

If that wasn’t enough, Fantasy Football Scout’s founding father, Mark Sutherns, is returning to the site to supply articles and video appearances throughout the season. Again, only Premium Members will get unrestricted access to Mark’s content.

And stay tuned in the coming days for more exciting announcements on that front – as well as updates on a new, mobile-friendly design.

RATE MY TEAM AND PROJECTIONS

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools are both live for the new season, so you can head over there now to start building your teams ahead of 2020/21 and see how many points our algorithm thinks you’ll score.

These features were both refined last year, with RMT’s Professor – aka Chris Atkinson – elaborating on the changes in a Hot Topic.

SEASON TICKER

Also live for the new season is our Season Ticker.

Premium Members can sort by fixture difficulty and find out which teams’ matches rotate well.

Disagree with the Fantasy Football Scout difficulty ratings? Add you own to customise your experience.

FLAT-TRACK BULLY TOOL

Our Flat-Track Bully tool was a new addition last season, with subscribers now able to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you pinpoint players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raúl Jiménez famously did in 2018/19.

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPARISONS

Compare both teams and players head to head, with over 100 key statistics to study side by side.

PLAYER AND TEAM STATS

There are hundreds upon hundreds of player and team statistics available, which can help guide your Fantasy transfer decisions.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and our collection of heatmaps for touches, shots and chances created, among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Premium Members can also create custom tables based on the data available and share them with other subscribers.

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

TESTIMONIES

2018/19 Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy was a paid-up Premium Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

Yeah, he's been priced a little unfairly, I think. 8m as a mid would be ok, but perhaps the sweet spot as a forward would be 7.5m.

DCL should be 6.5m tops, too.

Probably been asked, but what is everyone’s thoughts on Man City defence?

Not seen them mentioned, but given the number of clean sheets they got surprised they aren’t being. Is it the uncertainty around who starts or the lack of attacking returns that are putting people off them?

Still nothing convincing me enough to move away from this setup

    Ryan/McC
    TAA Doherty Vinagre
    Salah Auba Bruno ASM Soucek
    Werner Mitro

    (4.0 4.5Def Ferguson 4.5Fwd)
    0.0m

4.5Def comes in for Bruno GW1.
Hopefully save FT in GW2 and then possibly 2-3 moves in GW3 or even wildcard 😛

    2. Maximus Bonimus Pointimus
      • 14 Years

That’s pretty awesome looking in fairness

Vinagre, ASM, Soucek, Mitro allow that big cluster of firepower in TAA, Doherty, Werner, Salah, Auba, Bruno

      All fits together really well

        • 8 Years
        3 years, 8 months ago

        Thanks mate
Nice to see someone appreciate it!

Vinagre probably going to cause a few problems but I'll hopefully be able to find another 4.5m defender.

Spurs fixtures are tempting but it's Kane or bust for me unless we know Son is playing up top in a 442.

    3. jimmyabs1987
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

Werner and Mitro are risks as might not fire in the goals. Surely at start go with proven PL points scorer? I know Mitro has been in PL but would Ings and Antonio give a similar return and some much needed extra funds?

      1. Karan14
        • 8 Years
        3 years, 8 months ago

Those moves would only free up 0.5m and I'm not sure that's of any use with this team.

Werner is a captaincy option imo and Ings does not offer that. Also Chelsea & Fulham have comparitively

      2. Karan14
        • 8 Years

Chelsea & Fulham have comparitively easier fixtures than Soton & West Ham over the first 4-5 gameweeks.

This is me at the moment, a classic 343.

Think Soucek can match the likes of ASM and Armstrong for 0.5 less despite the tough fixtures.
Cheap at the back ( besides TAA ) and will upgrade along the way but want all my funds in the middle and up front to start with.
Many ways to get a Man Utd player in, don't mind a hit in the first GW.

    McCarthy - Nyland
    Aurier - Saliba - VvD - Vinagre - Ferguson
    Auba - Ziyech - Salah - Rashford - Soucek

Auba is an easy shift to a City mid if needed. Not 100% on Aurier, but he can become Chilwell if the Chelsea transfer happens and he heals in time.

Honestly can’t wait to see how it all works out

On paper it should be excellent - Pulisic already looked fantastic at the end of last season & Ziyech, Werner, Havertz all seem pretty outstanding talents as well

      But... Nothing is guaranteed

There’ll be scenes if Lamps somehow makes a balls of it & they don’t adapt quickly

The new lads all face a new language, new teammates, new manager, new coaches, new training, new opponents, new weather, new culture, new everything - but definitely on paper it looks a fairly ferocious front four

They are not over buying. They just didn't buy last year and even had to sell their star player. Always been a buying club.

And tbf they needed a ST, RW, CB, LB.
Havertz was a surprising one since they already have Mount/RLC but I guess he was too good an opportunity to pass on.

Managed to rope my dad into playing FPL! These are all his own picks and he’s a Chelsea fan. Told him he’s got to finish top 2 million.

    Casilla, Martin
    Robertson, Chilwell, Egan, Mitchell, Kilman
Aubameyang, Son, Pulisic, Rice, Tyler Roberts
    Werner, Mitrovic, Wickham

    He’s playing 3-5-2.
    He’s monitoring Chilwell and Pulisic.

He’s doing Rice to KDB GW2.

    Looking at this for GW1:

    McCarthy
    TAA | VVD | Doherty | Lamptey
    Salah | Auba | Pereira | Soucek
    Kane | Mitrovic

    Nyland | Ferguson/Mitchell* | Davis | Greenwood

    *Whoever looks like starting

    GW2 - Save FT
    GW3 - Auba to KdB
GW4 - 2FT to whoever looks like flavour of the month

Thoughts? No Fernandes could hurt of course, but with captaincy being rotated between Salah/KdB/Kane I think I’m happy

I’ve ballsed this up, instead of Lamptey I have two 4.0 defs, Mitchell and Ferguson.

Then GW3 transfers will be Auba to KdB and one of the 4.0s to Lamptey/Taylor.

      Playing 3-5-2 GW2

Looks like a nice squad tbh, although I would consider getting Bruno in at least GW2 / 3, his price will rise quick and he's on corners/freekicks and no doubt peno's as well.

Any thoughts on this team, please?

    McCarthy
    TAA / Vinagre / Saliba / Walker-Peters
    Ziyech / Salah / Aubameyang / Son
    Werner / Mitrović

    Nyland / Bamford / Ferguson / Stephens

Feeling it's about budget strikers and a solid midfield, but saying that, it's usually the case anyway... But will quite a few player positions changes; it seems even more necessary imo.

Bamford seems a waste to me. Even if he is not replaced, he can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo. Better get a 4.5 forward and spend the extra million elsewhere.

I think you could be right, although even the premium strikers eg Kane and Aguero are only 10.5, also lots of value in defense with quite a few reasonable 4.5 options it seems.

Team looks good, be wary of Vinagre with imminent AMN signing

      Hmm

My other thought is to change

      Vinagre > Egan
      Son > Saint-Maximin
      Bamford > Ings

Stick to the initial plan (A)?
Or change to the new plan (B)?

      Ziyech / Salah / Aubameyang / Saint-Maximin
      Mitrović / Werner/ Ings

      Nyland / Walker-Peters / Ferguson / Stephens

I think this is definately appealing to me more...

I would do McCarthy > Martínez, but seems a bit risky, he played really well but I'm not sure if Leno will take his place now he's fit again.

    Foden gamble?

    Mccarthy (4)
    TAA - VVD - Vinagre - Justin - Ferguson
    Salah - Auba - Son - Soucek - Foden
    Mitro - Werner (4.5)

442 first week, then hope Foden plays in 352 after that, or bench Soucek for 442 depending fixtures.

4.5s and 4.o defenders to be decided nearer the start.

Yes he could but the talk are not even in advanced stages till now. Till yesterday they were being linked with some other defender.

If the LB comes late in the window Vinagre is still a decent option. Also there plenty of other good 4.5 defenders. KWP/Lamptey rotation is amazing.

Mount is Lampard's favourite so he might be. Once Pulisic is recovered he is the standout, Ziyech is a great player but it might be safer if you have Werner then choosing Maddison over Ziyech, and having 1.0M ready for future transfers.
