Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for the 2020/21 season are still available at the pre-season cost of £17.50 – but time is running out on this offer.

Subscriptions will rise to the regular season price of £19.99 on August 31 so, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up over the next week in order to secure the best-value rate.

The yearly fee of £17.50 works out at an equivalent of less than £1.50 a month (or 5p a day!) as, instead of expiring on June 1 as was previously the case, these rolling annual subscriptions now cover a full 12-month period.

That’s better value than our rivals are offering for the equivalent all-access Premium Membership package.

If you prefer to dip your toe into the water rather than plunge right in, however, we are continuing to offer rolling monthly subcriptions for just £2.99 per month.

Existing registered users can upgrade via this link. New users, who are yet to get a registered account, can sign up via this link.

Payments can be made through Paypal or via Stripe using debit or credit cards.

Does early FPL team news really provide an advantage?

What Do I get for my money?

Well, you’ll be joining legions of other Fantasy managers by signing up, including former Fantasy Premier League winners Adam Levy, Simon March and Tom Fenley.

Thousands upon thousands of FPL bosses take advantage of our subscriptions and sign up every year, using the stats and tools to aid their Gameweek planning.

PRO PUNDIT ARTICLES

You’ll get exclusive content from some of the best Fantasy managers in the business, including Hall of Fame number one Fábio Borges, ex-champion Simon March, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman, three-time top 200 finisher Lateriser and six-time top 5k finisher Zophar.

If that wasn’t enough, Fantasy Football Scout’s founding father, Mark Sutherns, is returning to the site to supply articles and video appearances throughout the season. Again, only Premium Members will get unrestricted access to Mark’s content.

And stay tuned in the coming days for more exciting announcements on that front – as well as updates on a new, mobile-friendly design.

RATE MY TEAM AND PROJECTIONS

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools are both live for the new season, so you can head over there now to start building your teams ahead of 2020/21 and see how many points our algorithm thinks you’ll score.

These features were both refined last year, with RMT’s Professor – aka Chris Atkinson – elaborating on the changes in a Hot Topic.

SEASON TICKER

Also live for the new season is our Season Ticker.

Premium Members can sort by fixture difficulty and find out which teams’ matches rotate well.

Disagree with the Fantasy Football Scout difficulty ratings? Add you own to customise your experience.

FLAT-TRACK BULLY TOOL

Our Flat-Track Bully tool was a new addition last season, with subscribers now able to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you pinpoint players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raúl Jiménez famously did in 2018/19.

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPARISONS

Compare both teams and players head to head, with over 100 key statistics to study side by side.

PLAYER AND TEAM STATS

There are hundreds upon hundreds of player and team statistics available, which can help guide your Fantasy transfer decisions.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and our collection of heatmaps for touches, shots and chances created, among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Premium Members can also create custom tables based on the data available and share them with other subscribers.

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

TESTIMONIES

2018/19 Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy was a paid-up Premium Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

I’ll use the next three weeks to meticulously plan and then the last hour before the deadline will be blind panic. During the hour and a half period while the game updates, I’ll have little to no idea what my final squad looks like. Last year it contained John Stones.

Favourite time of the season =)

Both in my opinion but Davies has greater potential to score points.
I would also add, I wouldn’t touch spurs defence as I think a Burnley 4.5 will score the same.

I would do Aurier to 4.5 probably Taylor for Burnley and VVD to another 4.5 and then Mitro to Werner/Vardy/Jimi all consistent scorers bar Werner who is a gamble.

I think I'm going to set myself up for a poor GW1, in order to be organised for GW2 and 3. Fernandes on the bench for the first week, then KdB can come in on GW3, whilst saving a FT in GW2. Anyone else with the same? I could go Greenwood on the bench, giving me more money for GW1 (I have Mitrovic and Adams up front with Ings, not great)

    1. Twisted Saltergater
      • 14 Years
      3 years, 8 months ago

Am considering the same, tbh. I could have Ziyech over Greenwood with a planned transfer for GW1 but I can field 11 that I'm happy with in GW1 while benching Greenwood, so think I'll do that.

    2. Ajax Hamsterdam

starting possibly with greenwood on the bench, i wouldnt have a 10.5m player on the bench though.

A or B please chaps medium to long term?

    A) Fernandes | (4.5 striker)
    B) Kane | (Soucek)

Bracketed player is benched in both scenarios

    1. Twisted Saltergater
      • 14 Years
      3 years, 8 months ago

Kane is a tricky one to assess. I'm sure I'll buy him at some point.

I'd start the season with Fernandes or prioritise a FT for GW2 if you can afford a 10.5m slot.

I'd say the ideal pairing would be Fernandes and Martial, but it depends on whether Liverpool rediscover their attacking explosiveness and how the new players at Chelsea bed in.

I'm trying to avoid expensive players that I won't captain as those funds could be spread around. While I have Salah and Aubameyang, that means no Kane or Bruno.

          1. SEXY SOLO SAUCE
            • 7 Years
            3 years, 8 months ago

Yes this is my thinking too, if I went B then my captaincy would rotate between Salah/KdB/Kane.

I don’t feel like I’d captain Bruno, because I feel like I’d be mainly basing it on United getting a penalty!

True, just had a bit of a laugh - I can get the EXACT team I want but the downside is 2 x 4.0 keepers and 2 x 4.0 defenders haha:

                Nyland
                TAA | Doherty | Lamptey | Ferguson
                Salah | KdB | Bruno | Greenwood | Soucek
                Kane

                Steer | Davis | Mitchell | Brewster

After having another look, they actually weren't better as a team overall without him, they had some of their better or terrible performances when he was on the pitch but his individual performance wasn't great in any of the games.

Don't understand how people think someone like ASM or Armstrong + 4.0 def is better than 4.5 mid + someone like Davies or Egan. Seems a lot are just hell bent on going cheap at the back

Higher ceiling because ASM will have one game during the entire season where he scores twice...? meanwhile Egan and Davies will tick along getting regular 6 pointers for CS with the occasional double digits when they get a corner goal/assist

Sheff U have 3, Wolves have 2, Burnley have 3, Spurs 2, Arsenal 1 or 2, United 1 - a few of them actually have decent attacking threat too - probably the most stacked 'price point' on the game

You can take more risks when you have a wildcard in your back pocket.

I’m thinking of going Trent - 4.5 x 2 - 4.0 x 2 and ploughing cash into the front seven. When I play my WC I’ll go safer.

Looks good, my experience of elaborate transfer plans, especially at the start of the season, is that my head is turned as soon as games happen! That said, wary that Utd & City players will jump in price as soon as people start transferring them in for GW2.

Can I get some advice on this team please. Would you swap out Doherty for Perriera and play 442 or just keep Doherty and have a back 5 ?

    McCarthy
    B.Davies TAA Doherty Gomez Egan
    Aubameyang Salah Son
    Mitrovic Werner

    Subs:
    Button, Soucek, Bissouma, Davies

Okay, so I am back after taking two seasons off from FPL, but yes - I finally made a team for this year. Literally don't have a lot of clue, reading up a lot of stuff on the season right now. Here's a first stab at it.

    Ryan, £4.0,
    TAA, Saliba, KWP, £4.0, £4.0,
Salah (c), Aubameyang, Son, Ziyech, Armstrong,
    Vardy, Ayew, £4.5

    * Ryan becomes Johnstone if Button moves to WBA.
    * Not a fan of spending on defence, still waiting to see if Vinagre remains an option, if not - will probably upgrade one £4.0 to Doherty, and get rid of Ziyech.
*Love Soton's fixtures to start the season. Almost wanna get Adams ahead of Ayew.

Thoughts, friends? Oh, and yes, hope you all are doing well! Guess a few people will know me from years back 🙂

Looks like they'll definitely sign a LB so he'll be understudy to Azpi, probably in and out.

Cheers. Some people saying Azpi can play centre-back too?

Hard to tell between Chelsea fans wanting him to play (which I do too - think he's a real talent), and actually thinking he will.

Azpi won't play CB in a two and I doubt they'll play 5 at the back much this season with the attacking players they've signed, it'll be Thiago Silva and one, probably Rudiger, at CB.

How does starting with 3 12.0's sound, given it enables grabbing any of the MU/MC players with just 1 transfer...

    McCarthy
    TAA Aurier Justin
    Salah Mane Auba ASM Soucek
    Ings Mitrovic

... or make one of your forwards a 10.5 and you can grab anyone ...

I suppose this means a swap to an expensive forward costing (-4), hardly tough to swallow given the players that might come in on the hit.

        1. jtreble
          • 7 Years

No, what I'm suggesting is that instead of 3@12.0 mids you might consider 1@10.5 fwd and 2@12.0 mids for the flexibility it can provide (i.e., the ability to "grab" anyone) . GL.

For me it’s 1 too many. Mane is a great player but without pens should be 0.5 cheaper than Salah

I agree, however he'd likely be a placeholder for Bruno/KDB/Sterling. I'm not sure I'll want to get rid of Auba any time soon, who most people seem to be using for their placeholder.

I think the main thing is you really only need 2 captaincy options. This way, funds might not be well spent.

Swap asm for Armstrong and we're in the same boat with the same planned transfers. I also have 2.5ITB and only 1 playing bench for GW1 which feels wrong. But seems like the best strategy to get Bruno and KDB by GW3

    Thoughts?
    McCarthy Steer/Nyland
TAA Taylor/Vinagre Saliba ( if he starts charity shield) Davies Ferguson
    Salah Auba Periera ASM Gordon
    Werner Kane Mitrovic

    GW 2- Save Transfer
    GW 3- ASM Periera Auba ➡️ KDB Greenwood 4.5 = -4
GW 4 Kane Badvies ➡️ Ings and Robertson ( price rises could be VVD) = -4
GW 5 Potential Wildcard ( get Kane back)

looks good, just a suggestion though:
if ya planning on using the wildcard, which you can decide as to whether it's needed, then you should probably find a way of using it so you don't get two sets of deducted points beforehand...
