Last chance to get FFScout Premium Membership for pre-season price

Fantasy Football Scout Premium Memberships for the 2020/21 season are still available at the pre-season cost of £17.50 – but time is running out on this offer.

Subscriptions will rise to the regular season price of £19.99 after August 31 so, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up before that point in order to secure the best-value rate.

The yearly fee of £17.50 works out at an equivalent of less than £1.50 a month as, instead of expiring on June 1 as was previously the case, these rolling annual subscriptions now cover a full 12-month period.

That’s better value than our rivals are offering for the equivalent all-access Premium Membership package.

SIGN UP FOR THE NEW SEASON HERE

If you prefer to dip your toe into the water rather than plunge right in, however, we are offering rolling monthly subscriptions for just £2.99 per month.

We’re continuing to reinvest resources into the site, building a team of talented contributors for the new season (from all of our Career Hall of Fame top three to the returning Mark Sutherns) and working on an exciting new design for the Premium Members Area, complete with new tools and features.

We’re also dishing out £2,500-worth of prizes in the 2020/21 campaign – more details of that available here.

Our video below runs down just some of the benefits that subscribers will enjoy in 2020/21 and previews what you can expect the Premium Members Area to look like after its makeover:

WHAT DO I GET FOR MY MONEY?

Well, you’ll be joining legions of other Fantasy managers by signing up, including former Fantasy Premier League winners Adam Levy, Simon March and Tom Fenley.

Thousands upon thousands of FPL bosses take advantage of our subscriptions and sign up every year, using the stats and tools to aid their Gameweek planning.

PRO PUNDIT ARTICLES

You’ll get exclusive content from some of the best Fantasy managers in the business, including Hall of Fame top three Fábio Borges, Stephen Harrap and Darren Wiles, ex-champion Simon March, five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman, three-time top 200 finisher Lateriser and six-time top 5k finisher Zophar.

If that wasn’t enough, Fantasy Football Scout’s founding father, Mark Sutherns, is returning to the site to supply articles and video appearances throughout the season. Again, only Premium Members will get unrestricted access to Mark’s content.

RATE MY TEAM AND PROJECTIONS

Our Projections and Rate My Team tools are both live for the new season, so you can head over there now to start building your teams ahead of 2020/21 and see how many points our algorithm thinks you’ll score.

These features were both refined last year, with RMT’s Professor – aka Chris Atkinson – elaborating on the changes in a Hot Topic.

SEASON TICKER

Also live for the new season is our Season Ticker.

Premium Members can sort by fixture difficulty and find out which teams’ matches rotate well.

Disagree with the Fantasy Football Scout difficulty ratings? Add you own to customise your experience.

FLAT-TRACK BULLY TOOL

Our Flat-Track Bully tool was a new addition last season, with subscribers now able to identify Fantasy assets with good records against specific clubs.

This will help you pinpoint players who perhaps perform better against weaker opposition and even those who thrive against the top teams, like Raúl Jiménez famously did in 2018/19.

HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPARISONS

Compare both teams and players head to head, with over 100 key statistics to study side by side.

PLAYER AND TEAM STATS

There are hundreds upon hundreds of player and team statistics available, which can help guide your Fantasy transfer decisions.

MATCH ANALYSIS

Analysis of every Premier League match (going back to 2011/12!), together with charts which plot average positions and our collection of heatmaps for touches, shots and chances created, among other statistics.

CUSTOM STATS TABLES

Premium Members can also create custom tables based on the data available and share them with other subscribers.

Perhaps the most famous of these is Joe’s Goals Imminent table, which looks to predict which underperforming assets will find the net next.

TESTIMONIES

2018/19 Fantasy Premier League champion Adam Levy was a paid-up Premium Member of our site and he discussed what tools of ours he finds most useful in an interview after his triumph.

In previous seasons we’ve helped FPL winners Tom Fenley and Simon March, while in 2015/16 we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of that year’s Members’ League – finish third in the overall rankings.

In 2017/18, Paul Gee went one better. He won our Members’ League and finished second, losing out to champion Yusuf Sheikh by just eight points.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a Premium Member here. A full FAQ on our Premium Members’ Area is also available here.

If you’ve any feedback or suggestions of content that you’d like to see added to the Premium Members’ Area, then please feel free to drop us a line at support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

Would you go with Bruno on the bench as in this team to allow me to potentially bank a FT, or, put in Son from the start and make the transfer to Bruno gw2. Thoughts on the team also welcome

    Ryan
    TAA, Doherty, kwp, vinagre
    Auba, Salah, ASM, soucek
    Werner, mitrovic

    Bruno, Johnson, Brewster, 4.0

I’ve opted to go and downgrade salah gameweek 2, Son could dish out some points and don’t want to miss out. It allows me to upgrade mitro to a more premium forward

Auba to KDB gameweek 3 for me with the fixtures. But you may be right, either way only time will tell. I think KDB will outscore Auba, but again I may be wrong

I'm benching Bruno in GW2. Made that decision a while back and sticking to it. I consider him more important than Salah and don't want to float 1.5m in making the move in GW2.

Messi just had 25 goals and 21 assists in 32 games in what is regarded to be his worst season in a while and for what is the worst Barca team in over a decade. I don't mind if he doesn't track back and starts 3 out of every 4 games. I'll have him in my team no matter what. Good luck to anyone going without

Forget Chelsea, Leeds are the real deal

Leeds are in talks with Dinamo Zagreb to sign Josko Gvardiol. Price tag around €20m for the Croatian centre back. Another important target after signing Koch and Rodrigo - still working with Udinese to find an agreement for Rodrigo de Paul.

    McCarthy
    TAA Doherty Vinagre C.Taylor Johnson
    Salah Aubameyang Son Soucek Bissouma
    Kane Mitrovic Brewster

1.5 in the bank which would allow for Son --> Bruno gameweek 2 or for jumping on other players (e.g. Foden for Soucek, Doherty to Robbo, Johnson to Chilwell etc)

    Thoughts?

Committing to 4 at the back (or max 4 in midfield) might not pay in the long run?

After you do make one of your planned upgrades, it doesn't leave you much room to do anything else does it?

what % pay rise do championship players receive for being promoted? Must be a pretty pish feeling when the new signings come in on big bucks if they're not rewarded massively.

    1. Tinkermania
      • 4 Years
      3 years, 7 months ago

It's not a straightforward %age. Contracts are different. Some might not even get a rise at all.

    2. Brosstan
      • 9 Years
      3 years, 7 months ago

Unless it's in their contract there's no reason for them to get pay hikes for being promoted.

    3. pingissimus
      • 5 Years
      3 years, 7 months ago

They'll likely get a hefty bonus but that's it I imagine.

There's a cycle where teams that get into the prem spend big early on transfers as there's so much in the kitty. The when they have been there a while and wages increase from contracts being renegotiated and new signings coming in on big bucks that they run out of money for transfers.

Happened to both WBA and Stole. Palace are there now, This is when relegation typically hits.

    4. Egg noodle
      • 14 Years
      3 years, 7 months ago

By that logic they would be docked pay for being relegated.

Reckon this looks decent and my plan is sound?

    McCarthey
    TAA Bavies Vinagre
    Auba Salah Son Ziyech Soucek
    Ings Mitrovic

    Ayling Brewster 4.0 & 1ITB

Plan is to swap Salah > Fernandes for GW2 & then Son > KdB for GW3.

I really want Doherty but just can't find that other million, besides the one sat in the bank for KdB

      Yes good plan.

Dallas better option than Ayling - better goal threat stats (just), less YCs and Ayling may play CB at start while Koch adjusts to PL & Bielsa football.

      Defence looks weak for gw4

I would downgrade Son tbh and bring in a premium attacker

        Ings & Son > Kane & ASM
Would leave me 2.5 ITB to upgrade Ziyech to Penandes.

        So many options.....it's a head f**k

I need to see some pre season form before committing to Adams. I'm not against it though

Just go for Doherty. You know you want to. If it doesn't work out sell him.

    Template what?

    Ramsdale - Nyland
    Trent - Digne - Dier - Walker-Peters - Mitchell
    Auba - H.Barnes - Armstrong - ASM - Soucek
    Kane - Werner - Martial

Yes I know midfield is weak 😉 But I love that front 3! Defence rotates perfectly, got everything I want.

    Thoughts? 🙂

Ramsdale worth the extra 0.5m? I'm not sure he is.

Rest of team looks alright. Lots of value mids which might either work amazing or flop.

I'm not bold enough to go that route but I can't really fault the Armstrong or ASM picks on paper. They have the fixtures and show the potential necessary. Barnes also an interesting differential.

Perhaps Ramsdale isn't worth the extra 0.5 but I really want a Sheff Utd defender.

Not too keen on ASM or Armstrong but their fixtures are nice and they are the best in that price bracket imo

        Cheers for your thoughts

I need some help with defence rotation pairings too. Is Mitchell nailed to start? I have him too. Not sure which Spurs defender to go with, hearing a lot about Dier/Davies and now Doh. I have McCarthy in goals, so maybe no KWP for me?

      I need 2x 4.5 defenders.

As for your team, it looks nice however, I'm not sure about Barnes whether he is nailed? If I remember correctly, he was rotated quite a bit. Otherwise, the front 3 are frightening aha.

I have Barnes because I think he will play now Leicester have reverted to a 4141.

Depends on rest of your defence but Dallas & Vinagre rotate nicely

There's more value to be had in midfield, in my opinion. Yes, Kane for 10.5 is OK but will he get 2m worth of points more than Ings? If not, that 2m could be very handy elsewhere.

I think he will yes. But I'm a bit biased 😉

          Teasing you

You were so confident of Ferguson over Mitchell previously. Actually think Ferguson is the play if he's simply budget option. Mitchell will most likely be dead fodder quickly once PvA comes in. Ferguson has a chance of getting the fixtures later when Palace are top of the ticker.

    RMT, thanks:
    McCarthy, Ryan
    Trent, Robertson, Doherty, (Vinagre, Justin)
    Aubameyang, Son, Pulisic, Greenwood, Saka
    Ings, Mitrovic, (Brewster)

•I know Greenwood won't be playing in the first game week but it'll one less United/City transfer when they are back in action.
•I wouldn't mind bringing in Burnley's Taylor after a few weeks.
•I'm hoping Brewster goes out on loan.

I quite like this although I think there is an issue. With only the one high premium mid what's the plan for Bruno & Salah ?
Save 0.5M with one 4M keeper , save another 0.5M with a 4M def. These moves would allow Werner for Ings.

      1. Jimbo74
        • 6 Years

I'm happy to go with Ings over Werner. Ings is proven and, although I fully acknowledge Werner is a good player, I can't see him scoring (much) more than Ings. I could be wrong but we could be blinded by international pedigree.

I'm willing to chance going without Salah. I feel that he's matchable outside of LFC while Trent and Robertson aren't. I hope so, anyway!

Regarding the 4m keeper and 5th defender, I don't know, I just like to have a full squad! 6 BB points last season!

Depends slightly if they need the bucks to rebuild immediately. He could be a popular transfer in the winter window when not CL tied.

Agreed foolish to let him go for nothing.

      Not true. Clause is void.
The debate is whether this season ended on June 30 or after PSG-Bayern

      And The answer is obvious

Do you know this as fact ?I thought that the whole thing was going to be negotiated between legal teams. Also it depends on the wording of the contract a( whether a specific end of season date was included) and the counter clauses,. Have you read the contract itself ?

Because the La Liga brand is severely damaged without Messi. TV deal values will go down, sponsorship falls, etc. La Liga probably want him to stay at Barcelona more than Barcelona.

Think happy with this squad. .5 m in bank. 4.5 defenders can change pre start of season as required. Can easily move to Martial, Greenwood or Bruno week 2, can move for KDB week 2 or up to Aguero if confirmed starter. Pretty template though!

    McCarthy
    TAA Justin Vinagre
    Salah Aubameyang Son ASM Soucek
    Werner Ings

    Steer Brewster Mitchell Taylor
