    OK, I think I'm finally done agonizing over Soucek (I don't remember this much thought invested into a cheapo midfielder since Mahrez and Charlie Adam and neither, IIRC, had such abhorrent fixtures to kick off the season) and Adams vs. Ings. (interestingly, I used to work with a woman with a last name of Adams-Ings, I'll see myself out now). So...

      I'm still not sure about Soucek. It feels like if he blanks gw1 he'll be shipped by loads. Plus not sure about WH. Undecided

        Exactly. I had wanted him for the Newcastle fixture, but nobody guarantees he'll actually produce. And the rest of the first month's games are just awful. Much as it pains me to say, WHU are my #1 relegation candidate this year...

        I'm adopting a wait-and-see approach. Their two opening fixtures aren't awesome, either. I'm thinking of mini-WCing in GW3 barring massive price changes:

        Auba + Adams + Mitro (12 + 6 + 6)
        Bruno + Werner + Brewster (10.5 + 9.5 + 4.5)

        ...which leaves me 0.5 short, which is why Egan is going to become Justin for some flexibility.

      It was 1. But I no longer want any of them I think. Too much uncertainty.

      Martial is the only one who is nailed on. Rashford might be still recovering from injury. Bruno didn't train after international duty and won't play tomorrow's friendly. Greenwood is quarantined and training separately. United have had no preseason.

      Are people expecting them to show up and win 4-0 on the opening day like last season? I don't see it anymore.
