The best Leeds players to keep on your FPL radar in Gameweek 2

Fantasy Premier League managers got a first look at Leeds United players in a 4-3 defeat to Liverpool in Gameweek 1 – but are their assets ready for mass FPL ownership?

Marcelo Bielsa’s men certainly entertained the neutrals at Anfield with their bold and free-flowing approach, finding the net three times at the home of the defending champions. Not a bad start to life back in the top flight.

To help refine our watchlist of Leeds options, we have taken a look at that match in more detail to get a better understanding of the Whites this season.

As this article uses Opta data only those with Fantasy Football Scout Premium Membership can access it in full.

What were the average positions of Leeds players?

He fixes the one problem Liverpool have, a lack of creativity in midfield. He's also an absolute beast, the best midfielder in the world except KDB. Liverpool will be absolutely terrifying, and Salah will greatly benefit. They should focus play more towards the middle, which suits his style. I've never really felt the focus on wide areas and crossing has benefited him as much as another approach could have. 2016/17 Salah could be back, he's always been capable of it but the change in tactical style worked against him.

Agree he fills a creativity hole. You think Hendo, Fab and Thiago are the starting 3? I like Gini but not sure he will keep a place

He will benefit the fullbacks even more imo with his passing range. So play will still go through the wide areas as he's not a number 10. He's a deep lying playmaker

He's also a very effective offensive playmaker, the wide areas will still be utilized a lot but there is also the option of focusing it more through the center.

If Firmino is sideways on to receive the ball, rather than facing away from goal, he could be getting a lot more chances to get through on goal.

Hey, waiting for the Chelsea presser for Pulisic info but what do you think about these options?
FWIW I'm not overly keen on the Hamez bandwagon and I feel like Grealish is very under the radar and could be a good dfferential

    If Pulisic OUT:
    A) Pulisic & KWP > Grealish & Digne
    B) Pulisic & Adams > Grealish & DCL
    C) Pulisic & Son > Rashford & Hamez
    D) just Pulisic > Hamez/Greenwood/Grealish

    If Pulisic FIT:
    A) KWP > Lamptey/CTaylor
    B) KWP & Son > Hamez & Digne
    C) Save FT

    Team is:

    Lloris
    Trent Robbo Lewis KWP
    Auba Mane Son Pulisic
    Wilson Adams
    (Bissouma, Mitchell)

Find myself in a real awkward postion, whats peoples thots on this,

I can go martial and werner up front, with grealish in my midfield along with James Rodriguez, Salah, kdb,

Or I can go jimenez and werner up top with greenwood in my midfield instead off grealish,

My only issue being is, if united get sancho or a rw greenwood's minutes are guna be very few, or do I be optimistic and reckon he still get minutes and be the player he was last year?

Or do I be safe and stick with martial and grealish??

Just realized 4 out of my 5 defenders are "first name as a last name."

    Justin
    Mitchell
    Lewis

And finally the double first name last name - Alexander Arnold.

Challenge - Can anyone on here name a full squad of first name last name players?

Yeb, those players were bruyne, Martial, fernandes. All 3 who missed 1gw and therefore probably price locked. Salah isn't

A bit too risky and worth upping one of the Palace boys to a 4.5

A bit safer and nice to have the option to rotate Keane and James in and out

    Werner>Martial wort a go ? Saves 0.5 so I can upgrade Barnes>Greenwood/James or ASM>6.0 mid or possible a 4.5 defender>saiss/james
