I was wondering if anyone has any strategies for how to make 50/50 calls - decisions where the stats, fixtures, and eye test all work for a couple of players, and it’s a straight choice between them. I’ve had several of these this season, and seem to have gotten them all wrong! (see below, * for the one I went with):
GW2: *Rashford/Son, *Richarlison/DCL
GW7: *Zaha/Grealish
GW9: *Target/Coufal
Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve made a couple of duff transfers as well (Podence GW3 anyone?), but nothing too tragic. I’ve thought that over time I should get a few more of these right, however it does feel like they’ve had a fairly serious impacts as it often takes a couple of moves to repair.
Noted that this is a relatively small sample set, but just wondered whether I was missing something, or anyone has any strategies for dealing with such decisions
