How to use teams’ specific weaknesses to pick the right FPL assets

Despite selling Jamie Vardy (£10.3m) for a hit on Friday, Gameweek 12 turned out to be a pretty good one for me.

After taking my second minus four of the season to accommodate Mohamed Salah (£12.3m), I returned a total of 70 points and as a result, now sit 202,736th overall, with my Wildcard still intact.

So, as focus turns to Gameweek 13, I’m going to have a look at where teams have been conceding most of their chances from this season, in the hope of identifying one or two transfer targets for the Christmas period. 

I’ll then have a closer look at some of the players who stood out, and also discuss plans going forward.

WHERE TEAMS CONCEDE THE MOST CHANCES FROM

Using data from the Premium Members Area, I’ve had a look at where each team is most susceptible to conceding chances. This is something I like to keep track of during the season, in an attempt to find out which fantasy options can exploit those weaknesses.

          Check out your team link. Tough with the City fixture this week.

          You can easily get Grealish/Zaha/6.5m ish MID to replace those two.

          If your plan center's around getting a Liverpool mid, you need to downgrade one of Vardy/Kane/Son/Bruno, simple as that.

    Gw 15: save Ft
    Gw 16: KDB + Adams/DCL > Zaha + Kane ( Double up with Son for Spurs good fixtures)

    A couple of things to get some help on.

    I have 2FT and 0.4itb.

    Big question I have is do I stick with what I have got or is it worth trying to shoe horn Son into the team.

    a) move to a 3-5-2 which will require major surgery to get in over a couple of weeks
    b) sticking to 3-4-3 and upgrading Grealish
    c) Go real boring and swap out Lamptey or Kilman

          My team value is only 103.9 cuz I've removed most people i had value tied in. But I have a total of 102.5 to spend when i go to transfers page and remove everyone. I have a nonplaying bench though and only 0.1 left itb with this team 😛 plan is to change the 4.5 defender position every week to face burnley or Sheffield

          At least you're comfortably like 70 points ahead of me. I did not have a good start to the season. My captain picks failed for like 6 times out of 8 first 8gws. And i took a risky -12 last week that backfired. At least i have a settled team now so hopefully slowly climb the ranks now.

    Who would you downgrade to get KdB in for -4?
    1) Robbo-> Dier
    2) Grealish-> any mid up to 5.4 (Souchek/ Podence)
    3) no hit/downgrade, straight swap Salah->KdB
    4) forget KdB, save ft and stay with Mahrez and captain Bruno
