After an eventful Gameweek 14, in which I almost committed the deadly sin of selling Mohamed Salah (£12.5m), I couldn’t be happier with the end result: a total of 93 points and an overall rank well inside the Top 20K for the first time since Gameweek 10.
Considering the rumours from several sources saying Salah was going to be rested at Selhurst Park, I almost pulled the trigger and sold him for Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m) on Saturday morning. However, since I wasn’t 100% convinced by the rumours, I decided to hold fire and hope for a cameo from the Liverpool midfielder at the very least. After all, it would be heartbreaking to sell him ahead of such a nice fixture just to find out the rumours weren’t true.
However, the rumours were very true and he was indeed benched. But Salah doesn’t need many minutes to wreak havoc and after his 16-pointer, I was relieved to have decided to save my transfer. In addition, Ruben Dias (£5.7m), Andrew Robertson (£7.3m), Jack Grealish (£7.8m) and my captain Bruno Fernandes (£11.0m) all delivered nine points or more, which felt great after three red arrows in a row.

I prefer Mendy and Castagne but that would freeze a lot of money on the bench aftermath. WBA may not keep CSs but save pts for J and Chillwell if fit will be fantastic.Since their are doubts over Chillwell and James at the moment, I would go with mendy and Castagne.
With that team, I'm pretty sure that you will manage to have 2FTs every other week, downgrading bench players shouldnt be an issue.Thanks mate. I like Castagne's attacking threat. Must see the United game today if he is fully fit.

Took a 12 pointer hit to bring in Salah and also to replace chilwell and lamptey. Planning to play triple captain chip to recup a bit from it. Is it a good idea or shud I hold off and play in double gw?
Personal choice really. Play only if you think Salah will give his best performance of the season, not just too nullify the hits.
If your gut says, do it. Bear in mind in the doubles he is likely to get a rest or play 60mins x 2

Anyone else having no idea for chip strategy? I have almost evenly split between BGW players and DGW players and no WC (6 starters for both). Have 2 FT and was thinking James to either Stones, Dier or Dallas, so this move kind of dictates the strategy going forwards

I would play both, but if I have to choose then 1 for me.
