FPL Double Gameweek 32 announced as Spurs face Everton and Southampton

The Premier League have revealed their latest schedule, turning what looked to be a bumper blank Gameweek 32 into something a bit closer to normal.

Among the more exciting developments however, Tottenham Hotspur now face a Double Gameweek, travelling to Goodison Park to take on Everton, before playing Southampton at home.

Double Gameweek 25 teams: Southampton – best FPL players, form, fixtures and stats

Southampton will have their match with Crystal Palace rescheduled for later in the season, giving them a likely Double Gameweek. Crystal Palace are therefore the only team to now have a blank in Gameweek 32.

We are also still waiting for news on when the Everton v Aston Villa game will be rescheduled.

The likes of Harry Kane (£11.6m) and Son Heung-min (£9.4m) are now surely going to see substantial interest. Both of these players saw season-high scores in their 5-2 win v Southampton back in Gameweek 2.

Kane registered 21 points with four assists and goal, while Son found the back of the net on four occasions on his way to a 24-point haul in the same fixture.

Owners of Gareth Bale (£9.7m) may also be more inclined to hold, despite him missing out against Aston Villa in Gameweek 29 prior to the international break.

In defence, Hugo Lloris (£5.6m) and Sergio Reguilon (£5.5m) may also be shrewd acquisitions, particularly for anyone considering a Gameweek 30 or Gameweek 31 Wildcard. Reguilon has registered 17 attempts on goal so far this season, the fifth most across the Spurs side and more than teammates like Lucas Moura (£6.6m). He is also top for successful crosses from open play with ten across the Spurs side over the course of the season.

However, it is worth noting that Spurs do face a blank in Gameweek 33 as a result of the League Cup final against Manchester City.

Ensuring that you have a plan for your Lilywhites assets will be crucial to help you navigate the next couple of Gameweeks successfully.

Gameweek 32 fixtures:
Everton v Spurs
Newcastle v West Ham
Wolves v Sheffield United
Arsenal v Fulham
Man United v Burnley
Leeds v Liverpool
Chelsea v Brighton
Spurs v Southampton
Aston Villa v Manchester City
Leicester v West Brom

Looks decent but would probs go Mendy over Emi if on WC. Not sure on the Adams pick either - would maybe go Antonio instead and switch Mount to Neto.

Anyone considering Alonso that doesn't have a WC left? Talk to me...how many games do we think he'll play out of next 4?

Dias, Cresswell, Reguillon, White would be my other 4 defenders so all fairly nailed. Also have Maja as 8th attacker.

Im on WC and have him in my draft. As long as you have good back up then i think hes a good option.
I will be moving him after 33 for a City or West Ham defender.

Alonso in for me this week (no WC) and captain. I think he’ll play two of the next three games.

Yeah I'm very tempted to do the same. Out of interest, do you have any other Chelsea defensive cover?

Alonso is a risk and with bench boost to play, I am going with Dave.

    On Wild Card.
Tweaked it with the Spurs double in mind..
    Lloris
    Shaw,Alonso,Rudiger
    Fernandes,Son,Lingard,Jota,Raphinia
    Kane,Bamford.

    Martinez, Lacazette,Tierney,Coady.

I have 3.7m left over for Bamford > Vardy.

Raphinia and Bamford benched from 31 and play Laca and Tierney.

I really like this draft. Only worry would be rotation with Laca but with Bamford/Raphinha to come in looks good to me.

Yeh Laca is a punt. On form.
Every time I take him out I want him back.

The goalkeepers are expensive too although I got Martinez for 4.5m. Both have a double and Martinez has WBA in 33 too.

I really don't like it tbh.

WC'ing this week has you stuck with double Leeds for a really unfavorable run of games from 31-33 and you also have too much money in goal and no City when they have Villa and Leeds before the blank.

I’m shipping Bamford for Vardy in 32.
Raphinia will be kept on the bench until his fixtures ease.

I know there’s no City and the risks but with the Spurs double in 32 and rotation worries over City. Maybe Lingard > Gundogan could work

        I agree with the goalkeepers.

    Best transfer:

    A) Konsa > Rudiger

    B) Cancelo > Azpil

    Cheers.

It is mad to BB with Son, Bale, Grealish, Cancelo and Gundagon in the team.

But then again I would like to WC31 and go with a cheaper bench which would make it difficult to BB in future.

    What do you guys suggest?
