The Scout Squad’s best FPL players for Triple Gameweek 35

Fantasy Football Scout regulars David, Andy, Tom and Neale return to pick out their favoured players for the upcoming Gameweek in our weekly Scout Squad feature.

The ‘Free Hit’-type selections unsurprisingly feature an abundance of players with two fixtures in Gameweek 35, along with the obligatory threesome of Manchester United assets ahead of their triple-header.

Each panelist has put forward an 18-man long-list of Fantasy Premier League assests and will explain their notable inclusions and omissions below.

The players listed will then be narrowed down to a squad of 15 (with the starting XI not exceeding a total cost of £83.0m) for the weekly Scout Picks selection ahead of the Friday night deadline.

Each writer must meet the following requirements:

  • At least one goalkeeper costing £5.0m or less
  • At least one sub-£5.0m defender
  • At least one midfielder listed at £6.5m or below
  • At least one forward priced at £7.5m or lower
  • No more than three players from the same club

DAVID SAID

Of all the teams playing twice in Double Gameweek 35, Crystal Palace have the best schedule from a defensive perspective.

Their trips to Sheffield United and Southampton have excellent clean sheet potential which is why Vicente Guaita is my top goalkeeper for this round, while Tyrick Mitchell, who reclaimed the left-back berth in Gameweek 34, is also in my Scout Squad selection.

No Premier League team has conceded fewer goals than Manchester United over their last six. Harry Maguire has played every minute this season and last so he is arguably the most likely to feature in all three of their Triple Gameweek matches.

With Liverpool now playing twice in this round, Trent Alexander-Arnold is a key option to own. No defender has created more big chances than him in their last half-dozen appearances.

Chelsea are still the best team for lowest expected goals conceded (xGC) score over their last six, which is why I’ve gone for Edouard Mendy and Andreas Christensen, the latter having started each of the last three league matches in a row.

Bruno Fernandes has also been an ever-present for Manchester United since their return to European football, so I cannot look past him in midfield. While the returns have dried up recently, he remains in the Premier League’s top 11 for minutes per expected goal involvement over the last six.

I have also included Mason Greenwood in my selection considering the recent out-of-position exploits that have seen him sit behind only Mohamed Salah for total shots in the box over his last six outings.
Crystal Palace’s aforementioned fixtures are also kind for attacking potential too. Over the last six, Sheffield United and Southampton are both in the Premier League’s worst three for conceding big chances.

Meanwhile, Wilfried Zaha has two attacking returns in his last four starts since returning from injury.

Since Gameweek 29, no Premier League player has been afforded more big chances than Dominic Calvert-Lewin, which should see him get something against West Ham and Aston Villa; two sides who have obliged of late.

Kelechi Iheanacho is an obvious inclusion considering the continuation of his form. Since Double Gameweek 26, he has produced nine goals and two assists and sits top of the Premier League for shots on target over the last six.

Meanwhile, his colleague Jamie Vardy ranks joint-top with Iheanacho for big chances created over the same period. Friday’s meeting with Newcastle is, of course, more appealing than a Tuesday-evening trip to Old Trafford but I wouldn’t be too surprised to see the Foxes find the net there.

NEALE SAID

As so often happens, there’ll no doubt be a ‘single Gameweek’ player who outscores most of those with two or even three fixtures in Triple Gameweek 35.

But seeing as though we’re effectively picking a Free Hit side in this feature, the ‘two bites at the cherry’ mindset still wins out every single time.

And nothing sums up the faint ridiculousness of this blinkered Double Gameweek approach than talking up Crystal Palace players, not one of whom features in top 45 highest-scoring FPL assets of 2020/21.

But their double-header against Southampton and Sheffield United is unquestionably the most favourable of the nine teams with two or more fixtures, even if the Eagles themselves routinely flatter to deceive.

A little surprisingly given how much we tend to given them a wide berth, only four clubs have kept more clean sheets than Palace this calendar year. Vicente Guaita racked up a combined 17 points in the reverse fixtures of his Gameweek 35 matches, too.

In the Saints and the Blades, Wilfried Zaha – who has played a part in 45% of his side’s goals when he has featured – will be facing the two teams with the worst defensive records in 2021. He’s in my squad should Roy Hodgson pass him fit on Friday, despite the misgivings over Palace as a whole.

Among the sea of state-the-bleeding-obvious picks elsewhere, Anwar El Ghazi requires a bit of explanation.

Providing Jack Grealish remains out as expected, the £5.2m-rated Dutchman could prosper against a jaded Manchester United XI and an Everton side that Villa defeated 2-1 in an end-to-end spectacle last week.

The trigger-happy El Ghazi’s minutes-per-chance average of 24.2 is the best among FPL midfielders with significant game-time this season and he’s on penalties to boot. More importantly, he’s currently in Dean Smith’s good books – which is not always the case.

While many of my peers have plumped for Mason Greenwood, I’m going to put a bit of faith in Edinson Cavani.

Most United players will have at least one benching in Gameweek 35 and the veteran Uruguayan will no doubt share game-time with Greenwood (and others) over the next week, with the latter probably edging the minutes.

But no player has scored more Premier League goals off the bench than Cavani this season and his goals-per-90-minutes average (0.58) is better than that of any United asset.

Injuries to David Luiz and Danny Ings partly influence my selections of Rob Holding and Che Adams, meanwhile.

TOM SAID…

Double and Triple Gameweek players unsurprisingly make up my entire 18-man squad this time.

More often than not, Crystal Palace have struggled at the back this season, but for the best part of an hour did contain Manchester City last weekend. With Roy Hodgson in charge, they will always set up with a defence-first mentality, which leads me to goalkeeper Vicente Guaita. The 34-year-old has kept six clean sheets since the turn of the year, with the Spaniard accompanying Edouard Mendy and Fraser Forster

While Everton’s defence isn’t exactly watertight either, I’ve found a spot for Lucas Digne, who put in another good performance against Aston Villa last time out. The Frenchman registered his ninth FPL assist of the season, and could play as a wing-back if Carlo Ancelotti reverts to a back-three system.

I also like Harry Maguire, who has played every minute of every league game this term, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Timothy Castagne and Antonio Rüdiger.

Further forward, Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood, Mohamed Salah, plus Leicester City duo Kelechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy are obvious inclusions, so I’ll dedicate a bit more of my time to some of my other picks.

Talisman Wilfried Zaha has been playing through a potential groin injury in recent matches, but providing he is passed fit, could be an excellent differential option, given that the Eagles have arguably the best pair of fixtures. The 28-year-old has already reached double-figures in terms of goals in the Premier League, while opponents Sheffield United and Southampton both rank in the bottom two for big chances conceded in 2021.

Elsewhere, James Ward-Prowse’s dead-ball deliveries could be key, with team-mate Che Adams, plus Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Ollie Watkins completing the forward list. The latter was the best player on the pitch against Everton last weekend, setting the tone with his pressing from the front. He’s now produced returns in five successive matches and is up to 15 goals in all competitions this season. I’d put Calvert-Lewin slightly ahead, but it’s close, and both are brilliant options in Triple Gameweek 35.

ANDY SAID

I don’t particularly trust Crystal Palace from an attacking point of view. In fact they are the worst team when it comes to expected goals this season with 27.43. But sometimes you have to just back the fixtures and it doesn’t get much better than Sheffield United and Southampton. Sheffield United have conceded the highest expected goals this season, which is also the case in the last six matches.

Southampton are also in the top five worse teams over those half-dozen games, hence Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke being included. My Manchester United attacker choices this week would really depend on the line-up versus Roma, but it was promising to see Mason Greenwood selected in the original team for Liverpool. He’s had 17 shots in the box over the last six matches, nine more than both Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford. Considering only four players (and no midfielders) have a higher expected goal involvement over the last six than Fernandes, he has to be in.

Luke Shaw continues to top chance creation tables for defenders, but it’s also interesting to see Lucas Digne in the top five over the last six matches. Timothy Castagne has also increased his attacking output, especially since playing on the right side, with eight chances created and three shots in the box over the same time period.

It doesn't scare me as much be aude I feel the 9 would cover most of the key base, although no DCL for Sheff U isn't ideal.

As for Bruno's minutes I just don't know. Guess tonight might give us some indication.

I'd probably be dull and go without. 2 extra players in 36 is a lot to lose out on for someone that probably only plays 2/3 games.

Look at last week with Kane cap, sometimes going against a heavy EO captain pays off big time. Of course the flip side is devastating....depends if you are chasing or just trying to maintain rank.

    B) Phillips (have Salah and TAA from Pool) + Martinelli

    The Preview: GW 35

Greetings everyone, welcome to my latest article where I discuss all the pertinent questions relevant to the upcoming triple GW:

(Data taken from FFScout with consent)

Q: When is the best time to Free Hit?

Firstly, I’d like to address some frequently asked questions about the Free Hit:

    (courtesy @WhoGotTheAssist)

*Do I get my rolled transfers back if I Free Hit?

    No.

*Does Free Hit wipe out point hits I have already taken?

    Yes.

*Will my confirmed transfers before I Free Hit be in my team after this week?

    No.

*Will I have to pay a higher price for a player I bought on a Free Hit (if they’ve risen)?

    Yes.

*Do players in my team get affected, before I Free Hit, get affected by price rise/falls?

    Yes.

*I have 2 free transfers. How many will I have next GW should I decide to activate the Free Hit this GW?

    1.

As of now, I think a significant majority of FPL managers will have their teams stacked with Man United, Liverpool, Leicester and Chelsea assets. This is why I believe the template is strong in triple GW35 which reduces the appeal of Free Hitting here.

Instead, a Free Hit in GW36 is likely to bring far more value addition. Free Hitters in GW36 can target loading up on Spurs (WOL), Everton (SHU) and Man City (new), at a time when most FPL managers would have sold their Spurs and Man City assets heading into GW36 and will be taking hits to field 11 that week. I was speaking to my good friend @zophar and he suggested another alternative of Free Hitting in GW38 as well – I liked his idea and think it merits more discussion. Man United’s GW38 fixture is going to be three days before the Europa League final so they will heavily rotate – Free Hitters can take advantage of ignoring that fixture altogether and load up on the likes of Agüero and co on the last day of the season.

Q: In this section I share my thoughts on Man United’s attacking assets.

Needless to say, Bruno Fernandes picks himself. FPL managers who still have the luxury of using their triple captain chip should be in no doubts whatsoever to use it on Bruno this GW. Now, I look at Rashford and Greenwood:

Rashford v Greenwood last 4 matches:

Mins per shot in box: 62.8 v 22.15
    Mins per big chance: 314 v 72
    Mins per xGi: 286 v 118

Greenwood’s recent numbers are such that I think I’d back him over Rashford even if both were the same price. If Rashford sits the Europa League game tomorrow, then the decision becomes more interesting as I’d back whoever sits tomorrow to get at least two starts and a bench appearance in the triple GW. Greenwood looks better placed for more minutes in the triple GW though I think, given Rashford’s recent injury concerns.

Q: Who are the best three defensive picks on a Free Hit?

Both Trent and Shaw are second only to Son for chances created among all players in the league from GW26-34 so they would be one of my first names on my team-sheet. I’d assume that Alex Telles will come in for one of the games in the triple GW, which would mean Shaw starts two. That should be good enough though – as players who create chances are highly explosive not just because they are likely to get assists, but because they are far likely to accumulate bonus at a quicker rate.

I believe Harry Maguire is the most likely Man United outfielder to start all three games. He hasn’t missed a minute in the Premier League this season so he seems well placed among his team-mates to become part of the elite club of FPL players to have started all three games in a triple GW. What’s worth keeping in mind is that 50% of United’s clean sheets in the league this season have come against the big six so the triple GW fixtures, particularly against Leicester and Liverpool, could be very low scoring and beneficial for Man United’s defenders. Doubling up could be a smart strategy.

The alternative I would consider is Lucas Digne. Digne, like Trent and Shaw, possesses assist potential which helps him with his BPS whenever Everton are to keep a clean sheet. I doubt they keep a clean sheet in the double this GW though. Having said that, Everton have better defensive underlying numbers away from home which is particularly relevant as both of their fixtures are away from home this GW:

Everton defensive numbers home v away 20/21:

Big chances conceded per game: 2.19 v 1.69
Average xG conceded per game: 1.41 v 1.29

Other than that, I wouldn’t look past these four in terms of my defensive options this week.

Q: Jamie Vardy – keep or sell? How does he compare with Iheanacho?

Iheanacho GW26-34 vs Vardy GW26-31 vs Vardy GW32-34

    Mins per shot in box: 34.9 v 90 v 33.1
    Mins per big chance: 76.8 v 180 v 66.25
    Mins per xGi: 102.8 v 210.9 v 135.2

Iheanacho’s numbers keep getting better and better each week. Even his creativity numbers are on the up. No player in the league has created more big chances than Iheanacho over the past two matches. If you still don’t have Iheanacho in your team, get him in now! His goal threat numbers of late have been on par with Vardy though – which suggests that Vardy has been getting the chances and it’s a combination of bad luck and poor finishing which is letting him down. Vardy’s numbers over the past three matches have improved significantly as shown in the analysis above. In fact, over these past three matches he has had the same number of shots inside the box and more big chances than Iheanacho. Points are coming soon – I definitely would not recommend selling this GW. No team has conceded more shots than Newcastle over the past six GWs – that helps.

Q: Diogo Jota – keep or sell?

Prior to Liverpool’s fixture postponement in GW34, Jota was top among all players in the league for shots in the box over GW32-33. He was outdoing his Liverpool team-mates Salah and Mane in terms of xG and big chances over this spell too. Liverpool are top for xG, big chances and shots in the box over their past four matches so it makes sense to back their attackers. Among the mid-priced midfielders, Jota also almost always comfortably has the best odds to score every week. With a fixture run that reads SOU+mun wba bur CRY, I see no reason to sell Jota – even if there’s a risk of a random benching here or there. I expect him to play the easier games and if he does well there, who knows he might start the Man United fixture as well – even though I believe that is unlikely.

Q: Watkins, Richarlison or Calvert Lewin – who is the best budget striker after Iheanacho?

DCL v Richarlison v Watkins last 4 matches:

    Mins per shot in box: 45 v 45 v 40
    Mins per big chance: 51.4 v - v 120
    Mins per xGi: 146.3 v 499 v 208.1

Here’s the stat that puts the Calvert Lewin v Richarlison comparison to bed: Both Calvert Lewin and Richarlison have accumulated eight shots in the box over the past four matches – However, seven of those eight shots in the box have been big chances for Calvert Lewin while Richarlison has had zero big chances. Even though Richarlison is shooting at the same rate, it is Calvert Lewin who is being afforded by far the better quality of chances.

Watkins v Calvert Lewin is close. I’d still back Calvert Lewin though – due to his superior numbers. Over the past six matches, Calvert Lewin is top for big chances in the league. He has the fixtures (whu+avl SHU WOL) to continue his form too. Both of his double GW fixtures are away from home and he has scored six of his previous eight goals away. Then he plays Sheffield United and Wolves at home who have practically nothing left to play for. Further, what I like about Calvert Lewin is that his most difficult fixture (mci) is in GW38 so he’s easily sellable after his good run. Watkins accumulated two big chances against Everton – which was the first time in a league fixture he managed to do so since Grealish has been injured. His stats are on the up too – but Calvert Lewin is more likely to do well in the coming weeks according to the bookies as well.

Q: In this section, I cover Crystal Palace’s defence and Wilfried Zaha.

Crystal Palace in the yesteryears have been a source of defensive points to FPL managers in the past – when I think of the Palace defence, the likes of Aaron Wan Bissaka come to mind. However, they have been anything but reliable this season. Crystal Palace have on paper two of the best fixtures (shu sot) in the double GW. I would not recommend investment in the Palace defence though. When I look at all the teams Palace have played away from home who are not ranked in the top 6 this season, Palace are still ranked in the bottom five for big chances and shots in the box conceded so their underlying numbers are very poor. They might nick a clean sheet against Sheffield United but I’m extremely confident that Southampton and Villa will score against them in the coming weeks.

Zaha’s more of a tricky one. I’ll list his pros and cons and leave the decision to you:

Pros: I was surprised to find this stat but when I did some digging I found Zaha to be only behind Son, Salah and Sterling for minutes per big chance from open play in matches against the bottom ten this season so fair to say that he’s an absolute flat track bully because overall Zaha’s numbers are actually very mediocre. What’s also in Zaha’s favor is that Palace are one of the few teams who have a double in 35 and then a fixture again in 36. His goal involvement rate of 45% is very healthy as well – whenever Palace are to score he is highly likely to be involved. Both Sheffield United and Southampton are among the bottom three teams in terms of xG and big chances conceded over the past six matches.

Cons: He plays for Palace who have arguably the worst attacking statistics over the season – no one has recorded fewer big chances or a worse xG. Further, Zaha almost always needs multiple returns to haul big. Only once has he recorded bonus points with one attacking return over the course of the season. He’s also nursing a bit of an injury – he had groin problems but continued playing despite complaining of pain against Man City.

Q: In this section, I talk about Michail Antonio and Jesse Lingard.

Antonio’s return to West Ham’s starting 11 this GW coincided with a return to the top of the attacking stats this GW. No player recorded better xG, xGi, big chances and penalty area touches than Antonio this GW. Despite the lack of a double, he is a top option for the remainder of the season – particularly one keeping in mind for the last two fixtures (EVE bha wba SOU).

Lingard meanwhile continued to struggle for the third game running:

Lingard since joining West Ham (GW22-31) v Lingard GW32-34

Mins per shot in box: 44.27 v 133.5
    Mins per big chance: 159.4 v 267
    Mins per xGi: 189.3 v 228.2
Mins per penalty area touch: 22.8 v 38.1

As can be seen in the analysis above, Lingard’s numbers have dipped considerably. Over the last three weeks, he has had just the one shot in the box from open play with no big chances from open play to his credit. Penalty area touches have dropped too, which is concerning for owners.

Q: What to do with Spurs’ assets?

If I were on a Free Hit this week, I’d be tempted to sell all my Spurs assets. Leeds are a far better defensive unit at home this season as shown in the comparison below:

Leeds defensive numbers home v away 20/21:

Big chances conceded per game: 1.59 v 2.94
Average xG conceded per game: 1.25 v 1.92

Recent home form is on Leeds’ side too – over the past six home matches, Leeds are 3rd best for big chances conceded at home and that is despite facing Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea in that spell. Hence, I’d be willing to take the risk of going without a Spurs attacker.

What I would do without a Free Hit is a different story though. Harry Kane despite his blank against Sheffield United this week is probably worth keeping. He was top for shots in the box and penalty area touches among all Spurs assets and him blanking was a case of happenstance in my opinion. Kane remains one of the standout captaincy options in both GW36 and GW37 and you wouldn’t want to take hits to sell him and then bring him back in. I’d sell Gareth Bale and Heung Min Son though – as I believe the Man United and Liverpool midfielders have far more upside this week.

Q: What to do with Bamphinha?

Here I compare Leeds’ attacking numbers to their season averages:

    Leeds attacking numbers GW26-34* v GW1-25:

    Big chances per game: 0.88 v 2.21
    Average xG per game: 0.92 v 1.23

For the comparison, I have excluded Leeds game v Liverpool in GW32 from the sample as it was an anomaly and against the trends I have been noticing. Fair to say, Leeds attacking numbers have fallen off a cliff. This I believe, has been brought about by a combination of an increase in fixture difficulty and the injury to Raphinha. The game against Brighton was never going to be easy as Brighton at home remain best for xG conceded and big chances conceded this season but nevertheless the trends in regards to Leeds attack are worrying. Having said that, Bamphinha are still worth keeping for me. I say that because they are easily bench-able this week and then face Burnley in GW36. Burnley I believe are one of the teams to target for attackers – only Sheffield United have conceded more big chances and xG than Burnley since GW26.

Interesting regarding defenders - TAA, Mag, Shaw, Digne.

Why not consider Castagne and Robbo on FH?

When is the best time to use wildcard? Leaning toward GW36 or after because I have 7 double/triple gameweek players (Shaw, Greenwood, Fernandez, Martinez, TAA, Azpi, Iheanacho)...

What would you do here with 2FT and 0.1ITB?

    Mendy/Forster
    TAA/Castagne/Shaw/Rudiger/Holding
    Salah/Bruno/Son/Siggy/Lingard
    Kane/Nacho/Davis

Should I downgrade Rudiger and use funds to upgrade Lingard? Keep both Son and Kane?

The proposed move sounds like it would leave you in deep poo for 36.

Sounds like it still leaves you pretty short of players in 36:
Forster (maybe even no GK if McC comes back in)
        TAA
        Salah Jota Siggy
        Kane Nacho Davis

I’d rather drop Holding than Rudiger I think.

You wouldn’t consider downgrading Son? Lingard will be good in 36

Front 3 for GW 35 are:

    Nacho (2 games)
    Watkins (2 games)
    Kane (1 game)

Would you drop Kane for DCL (2 Games ) or one of the others

So tripple GW turn out good for those with FH,those without FH will have problems if they want to load with Man.Utd players with GW36 blank for Man.Utd,Leicester,Chelsea.

Double GW would be bad for FHers but tripple change things

With games coming so quick it effectively is a double for United. Not too worried.

      Nah

The only one I see getting all three is Henderson and even that is moot. Also look at fixtures - both Leicester and Liverpool will be flat out. United less so.

No idea which GW to use my FH. No need this week as I have a team of DGW and TGW players:

    Martinez
    Shaw, Phillips, Digne, Castagne
Fernandes (c), Salah (v), Jota, Greenwood
    Ihaenacho, DCL

Subs - Forster, Kane, Holding, Lingard

Planning a -4 next week to do Ihaenacho and Castagne to Antonio and Dallas.

Save it for the last GW bonanza?

You may be ok to hold off then yeh. GW36 would be decent if you didn’t have enough players as many will take hits to improve their squads

I thought that, but I think I’m set up fine for 36 with just a couple of transfers and don’t want the players that I’m getting rid of back the next week. Hmmmm.

I don't think so, you have to think Mount plays both with the tough opponents and need to secure top 4.

Looking for some advice with my options gents!

    A) Masuaku, Son, Welbeck > Digne, Zaha, Watkins (-4)
    B) Masuaku, Son, Welbeck > Digne, JWP, DCL (-4)
    C) Son, Holding > Greenwood/ Zaha, Digne
    D) Son, Welbeck > Greenwood/ Zaha, DCL

    2FT 0.4itb. No chips
    Mendy/ Forster
    TAA, Rudiger, Shaw, Holding
    Salah, Jota, Son, Bruno
    Kane, Iheanacho
    (Mendy/ Forster) (Lingard, Welbeck, Masuaku)

    Cheers!

The one where you keep Welbeck and avoid the hit 🙂

36 looks like a problem no? Greenwood over Zaha almost every day of the week but how short are you prepared to be in 36? Think B is where I'd likely go personally and cross my fingers about Everton. Failing that C with Greenwood and take your medicine in 36.

      1. Don Kloppeone
        • 6 Years
        2 years, 11 months ago

        I wouldn’t be that short in 36.
In A or B 1FT will get me 10 and a hit will get me 11.

In C or D I’d be one player lower

        1. pingissimus
          • 5 Years
          2 years, 11 months ago

That was pretty much how I counted it.

And I was thinking that if you're looking to put out a relatively complete team in 36 I'd go B on the basis that the hit in 35 was preferable as it gives you two chances to make it back in 35 and 36. If you take the hit in 36 then you're looking at a SGW scenario to make up the hit. ie take a hit for a DGW player not a SGW player. Discounting the possibility that Greenwood might get 3 matches in 35 here.

Could be wrong but I'd back Everton to do more damage to SHU than Palace and that's where I see most ground being made up.

Going to play BB in 35. Current team with 2 FT and 0m in bank. Single gw players marked with *

    Martinez Forster
    TAA Shaw Ward Holding Coufal*
    Salah Bruno Sigurdsson Lingard* Son*
    Nacho Kane* Vydra*

    Best option here?

    A. Vydra and Son to Watkins and Greenwood
    B. Vydra, Son and Coufal to Watkins and Zaha and Maguire (-4)
    C. Vydra Son and Coufal to DCL, Greenwood and Phillips (for -4)

    Thanks

My team: Play bench boost this GW: 3 transfers made (-4)

    Martinez
    TAA, Rüdiger, Digne
    Pereira, Zaha, Salah, Greenwood
    Kane, Antonio, Bamford

    Guaita, Holding, Maddison, Coufal

    Thoughts??

Is it worth to take a -8 hit for one of these transfer?

    a) Pereira --> Sigurdsson
    b) Holding (because he isn't nailed) --> Targett

    I can do

    Son & Lingard >> Greenwood & Havertz with 2 FT's this week giving me 8 DGW'ers and 3 UTD

Keeping bench light as i reckon everyone plays at least 1 but will still have Coady, Struijk on bench as cover.

    Sound good?

Any transfers I make have to be with an eye to GW36 players.

Hence: Fofana + ESR -> Ward + El Ghazi...

Or any better DGW + 36 non blank combo for 9.5M available?

Hey up all, thoughts on moves below..

    Mendy (Forster)

    Rudiger / Shaw / Castagne ( Veltman / Coady)

    Salah / Son / Jota / Lingard / Bruno

    Kane / Nacho (Vydra)

2 FTs; I'm just not sure about an Everton defender, so I'm thinking Coady -> Phillips this week then Mendy -> Meslier next week, plus a (potential) couple of hits for two playing defenders.

G2G with that plan? Cheers all, best of luck to you.
