Despite four teams missing out on Blank Gameweek 36, there are still plenty of options for the latest Fantasy Premier League captaincy decision.

Harry Kane (£11.8m) and Mohamed Salah (£12.7m) jointly lead the Golden Boot race and, with three fixtures remaining for both, they are among the favourites to find the net this weekend.

But is there some potential ground to make up with some outside candidates? With Manchester City now likely to play a more regular starting XI, should we consider their assets for the armband? Do Everton strikers appeal against a leaky Sheffield United defence?

CAPTAIN POLL

As expected, the two main Golden Boot candidates are leading the captaincy poll ahead of Blank Gameweek 36. So far, Liverpool’s Salah has been handed over 35.6% of total votes by our users.

Second-placed Kane has received just above 20.3% of votes ahead of his home match against Wolves.

The top five is closed by some familiar names, including Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.6m, 8.8%), Riyad Mahrez (£8.0m, 4.4%) and Ilkay Gundogan (£5.6m, 3.7%).

      I'm at 12k at the moment and picking Sterling as a differential earlier on in the season is one of the biggest reasons I'm not doing better, I persisted in trying to captain him in good looking fixtures when Bruno was hauling for everyone else.

        I'm trying to avoid making defender transfers for the rest of the season if possible - Everton have great fixtures this week and next, but not so much against City for the final week. But worth considering, though I can't afford Digne without taking a hit

      I've decided Bamford for myself. Burnley home defence worse than Brighton home defence, then I prefer WBA at home and SOU away over the other way around.
      But more people are going with Bamford, so go Antonio is you want to go against that a bit as he's probably more explosive

    Am I on to something with this FH team? Not too sure on Mahrez, but got cover on the bench. Others in consideration are Mane, Digne, Antonio, Sterling, Ederson + some fodder. 0,2 ITB

    Which GW36 & GW37 combo do you prefer?

    A) Raphinha (bur, sou) & Digne (SHU, WOL)
    B) Mahrez (new, bri) & Coleman (SHU, WOL)

    For A, in GW36 I have no subs so a Raphinha no-show would mean 10 players (not tipped to start in Team News)

    For B, I would need to transfer in Dallas in tonight after deadline.
