Xhaka and Moura recalled as Ramsdale starts again

In the final Premier League match of the day, there’s a small matter of a north London derby at the Emirates as Arsenal take on Tottenham Hotspur.

The Gunners, who are unbeaten in their past 10 Premier League home games against Spurs, make one change as Granit Xhaka (£4.9m) returns to the starting XI after a three-game ban, with Nicolas Pepe (£7.2m) dropping out.

That means a third consecutive start for Aaron Ramsdale (£4.5m) in goal.

At Tottenham, Japhet Tanganga (£4.6m) and Davinson Sanchez (£4.5m) replace Emerson Royal (£5.0m) and Cristian Romero (£4.9m) at the back, while Lucas Moura (£6.4m) comes in for Giovani Lo Celso (£5.9m) further forward.

Steven Bergwijn (£6.0m) and Ryan Sessegnon (£4.4m) both miss out through injury.

GAMEWEEK 6 LINE-UPS

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Smith Rowe, Aubameyang

Spurs XI: Lloris, Tanganga, Sanchez, Dier, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Ndombele, Alli, Moura, Son, Kane

I was so close to doing bam to Armstrong, instead I saved the ft and put coady fst on the bench. Rare bench points.47 with Sanchez to go.

    Sell James and Ayling for:

    A) Alonso and Duffy
    B) Rudiger and White/Coady

    From GW8:

    A) Antonio + Sanchez
    B) ASM / Armstrong + Martinez

5.5 on a GK feels like a lot but Martinez is once again showing he's a save and bps magnet and is capable of big hauls, and has a nice run from GW8. ASM is in top form especially considering the team he's playing for, I was set on Armstrong but sounded like he was quite poor today so I'm not so sure now but he has a good fixture run too from GW8.

Post GW7, Watford will be facing stronger defenses though. Might be worth looking at Palace mids if you are looking to keep for long term.

Aye but that Leeds one looks juicy and my defence is a bit questionable!

Need to see Watford highlights later I think

I was planning on playing the wildcard gameweek 8 but if I played it now I could play Christensen and Jose Sa insted of Veltman (or Ayling) and Sanchez. Worth it or not?

The more I calculate benefits of WC now, the more I feel that immediate pts gain allows -4 or probably -8 next week.

I am not sold on Sa, Ramsdale is better pick imo.

    Need some advice here.
    12.8m for 2 defenders..
    A)TAA
    B)Dias
    C)Rudiger
    D)Semedo
The budget can change if I do jota to saka(-4) or bring in Armstrong instead of Jimenez
Not keen on Armstrong so it’ll probably be Raul.
Ideally I want TAA Dias but I’d need to do jota to saka (-4)
    Worth it?

TAA Dias Rudiger you can hold these three all season long. Rudiger you can get for GW7 but TAA + Dias can wait until GW8.

    Thoughts?

    Sanchez
    TAA Cancelo Alonso Rudiger
    Salah Raphina Gray ESR
    Ronaldo Lukaku

    Steele Sissoko Livramento Locadia

Alonso + Cancelo quite rotation risky. You could swap one of them into a more regular starter.

Sissoko is meh IMO, I would look for a player with better CS odds for 3 pointer off the bench. Bissouma, Douglas Luiz, McArthur, Brownhill, Allan pock your poison.

I believe Livra can cover their rotation. And if this is WC there is time to ditch Alonso if he plays midweek.

      No

      Twisted his ankle.

See if he plays on Weds against Juventus.

Interesting that Reece James started on Saturday.

Also as a 37 yr old, how many games can Thiago Silva realistically play.

I have Reece James in my side, but don’t wanna waste a transfer taking him out, when he might still actually play.

Nor do I, but not happy to swallow possible price drop either. Alonso has been a different player under Tuchel and has looked much more solid defensively, so I am considering WC now.

Planning on having x2 free transfers going into GW8 to allow for any injuries?

    Good idea ?

There is the temptation to chase the player value increases.

    B) Trent + Ings

Ok so been out all day and catching up with scores. Seen Sa scored a monster 14 points. He was going tonight for Ramsdale and then Shaw to Alonso as only got £0.1m in the bank. Can’t get rid of Sa now. I’m thinking I could do Fornals to Smith Rowe and Shaw to Alonso.
So bits of advice 1) how did Smith Rowe look today 2) are we thinking Chillwell will play CL and Alonso v Southampton

      1) Excellent, but so did Saka and Auba also
      2) We have zero idea 50/60

And sorry for that 50/60, it's a legendary phrase that former ski jumper legend Matti Nykänen once said 😉

Cheers mate. 1) You think it’s worth getting him in? Only £5.3m, I know there was noise about him before the season starts.
        2) shall I just get Rudiger as more nailed?

He is only 5.3 and can be a steal. I am considering him and Saka if I WC now. Double up could be trap, but also gold.

Depends on your bench also. With strong bench you can take more game time risks (and get Alonso).

Doucoure and Dias in for a Greenwood and Duffy?

Shaw and Coufal to Alonso and Rudiger -4
    Or
Dcl and Jota to Lukaku and Gallagher -4
