Yeah he’s a good pick. Fixtures are okay. £5.5m mid and a starter for a attacking team

    From GW4, Pau or Konsa?
Will Pau likely get rotated for UCL?

Looks good but not sure Boly will start. Looks like it's going to be Milenkovic and Murillo as the starting CB's

So here goes my cheap defence with attacking full backs and Salah Halland team with main winger/strikers from the top teams. Hoping for Solanke start in GW1.

    Henderson
    Hall, Mykolenko, Robinson
    Salah, Saka, Nkunku, ESR
    Halland, Isak, Solanke

    Valdi, winks, Barco, Faes

    Please share your thoughts.

None of those defenders are attacking fullbacks

Hall and Mykolenko have zero underlying attacking numbers - Mykolenko actually has some of the worst attacking stats in the league

Robinson has at times some decent numbers but very littel to show for it

Who is the better options in 4.5 range in your opinion? Has more attacking potential?

How we looking? Any adjustments people? Gone cheap in defence but gives me 7 top attacking players!

Thinking if Solanke goes to spurs I’ll go with this!

    Jorgensen
    Udogie | Konsa | Burn
    Palmer | Foden | Gordon | Salah
    Watkins | Solanke | Havertz

    Turner | Emerson | Harwood-Bellis | Winks

Nice side, but have to wonder if Palmer is a risk for GW1. Solanke likely misses out too given timing of the move

Let’s be honest, Chelsea are crap, they need Palmer, he will start

I think it's good to go cheap in defense too, but I think you might want one 6M defender. Foden is a possible risk of not starting GW1? Havertz might also be sharing time with Jesus. Is Jorgensen nailed?

    Pickford // Virginia
Saliba Gvardiol Porro // Davis Barco

has anyone got any success stories regarding rotation? Particularly keepers?

99.99 % of the time I just hear frustration at it

I use to have a keeper and 2 defenders on rotation - this season it would be something like Flekken/Mee/Ager rotated with Henderson/Guehl/Andersen.

It would sometimes work, but was painful at times with last minute goals etc. but when it worked, oh the joy.

I’m tempted to do it again. Main issue is the best rotation to go for.

Sometimes it was a dream. Often it was 6,6,6 (18) with 2,2,2 on the bench. But occasionally it wasn’t. Most of the time neither team would get a clean sheet, as you normally rotate with weaker teams, and they ended up being crap anyway.

Its not worth it now since the game has changed in fantasy terms and real life where you have top defensive teams with creativity depending on fullbacks ( previously TAA, Robertson, Cancelo) now White, Porro etc

Porro scores a goal every 3 games.

Defence is easy this year if things go as most expect

          Arsenal defender, Porro, 2*4.5 ( Hall / Davies / Guehi / Konsa/ ) 4mil

I think Gvardiol will be a huge trap since he only played when CL was dead and Pep will for sure rotate with Dias and Ake

    First draft what needs changing?

    Flekken
    Gvardiol Saliba Porro
    Salah Eze Nkunku Garnacho
    Haaland Solanke JPedro

    Turner Rogers Konsa Harwood

    1. Hey_Arnold

      Garnacho no minutes
Solanke transfer might not start first game
      Pedro injured I think

Would you lose any of these for Solanke?

    A) Mbembo
    B) Nkunku
    C) Toney

I know only one is a striker but will change the mid to get him in as a starter.

Which option is better? B has played all pre season, A not so much.

    A. Saka, ESR, Solanke
    B. Son, Havertz, Amad

Rest of my team is below

    Henderson
    Hall, Mykolenko, Robinson
    Salah, *, Nkunku, *
    Halland, Isak, *

    Valdi, winks, Barco, Faes

Please cast your vote and reasoning if possible.

I personally am not of fan of players like Asad who you know will be benched at some point, if not straight away. Always feel better going with the main players.

I think the week 1 team picks itself now, if Solanke , Hall and Jota are expected to start week 1 which i believe they all will.

    Henderson
    Hall Porro Gabriel
    Nkunku Jota Saka Gordon
    Solanke Isak Haaland

    4mil Winks, Leif Davis, 4mil

Nice and flexible to get anyone in later

      Pick an Arsenal-Palace-Fulham trio:

      A: Raya, Andersen, Muniz (Winks)
      B: Henderson, Gabriel, Andreas (Jebbison)

The best use of funds is 4.5 gk, Munoz, Muniz (Rogers) so unless you have to, forget Arsenal def/gk.

What's the verdict on Solanke vs. Son then?

Having watched every Celtic game under Ange, he really got the best out of Kyogo as a #9 - been nowhere near as prolific since Ange left. Also had Giakoumakis as a backup #9 and got great numbers out of him too, who was really similar to Solanke in build + type of forward.

Would expect him to do the same with Solanke. That being said wingers in his system like Abada & Jota racked up impressive numbers too. 7.5m seems much better value than spending 10m on Son, especially if Solanke takes pens.
