Wait for Slot. He plays a pretty straight bat for team news although we are still waiting on Neale's article ranking the managers for injury news trustworthiness that was first promised to us 3 seasons ago. With an IB and the controversial new article in the athletic on the matter (whereby it is revealed the lengths Arteta goes to and Cooper openly admitted to lying) now is the perfect time to finally put pen to paper on this long promised article.

Anyone else tempted by Trent to Digne? The Frenchman is on set pieces and has created the most big chances in the league for defenders. Plus he has 3 juicy home games in the next 4.

Could do a lot worse if you can afford him in your structure.
      BUT
Clean sheets are limited and rotation may kick in over Christmas with Maatsen there.

    Well worth a read.

Interesting to see how deceptive Arteta is with team news misdirection and how Cooper admits to lying about injury news (something Mark spotted 3 to 4 seasons ago when Forest were coming up from the championship).

Took a whole week off after the disaster of last week. Still think I'm between two options but curious if there's something I hadn't considered.

    Sels Fabianski
    TAA Gabriel Lewis VdB Greaves
    Saka Palmer Mbeumo Johnson Rogers
    Haaland Raul JSL

    A) Johnson + Haaland > Salah + Isak -4
    B) Johnson + TAA > Bruno + Digne -4
    C) Johnson > Garnacho
    D) Roll?!

Leaning 75% towards A. I like the entry on Isak and Salah. TAA being out would be really annoying though and I might take another hit to sell him if he's confirmed out for like Timber.

B/D, however, I don’t like Digne as an option. Not C because we don’t know about Garnacho’s minutes & not A, reckon Haaland hauls vs Spurs.

Feels like you'll need a defender transfer here, currently don't see 3 starting defenders

Have a similar situation and similar options. If TAA is definitely fit I'll probably end up doing the Haaland->Salah switch for a hit.

If there's any doubt about TAA I will need a defender transfer and it's going to be difficult to justify a -8 to still go to Sah, especially given Haaland's decent fixture.

I know I'll miss the nice entry points for Salah/Isak but it's still doable next gameweek if I decide to go there.

    6. Vasshin

I don’t think it is worth a hit to remove Haaland and get Salah as much as all the content creators are saying. Haaland should score few goals vs spur’s defense without vdven and Romero (probably) so option 1 is out of question i think

For option 2 and 3, Johnson is still a hold as he is nailed to start for 70/80 minutes and could be good shout for goals against city

So I think best thing to do is probably hold until the news of TAA.

If TAA is going to play, probably take Lewis out and get someone similar in price as Hall, digne, Mazraoui, some Brighton defenders

If TAA is out then based on who you want to upgrade to next week like Bruno, or Jackson, or Isak downgrade TAA with money in bank

I still can’t decide whether I want to get rid of Haaland or not. Without Haaland it is massive Pain to watch City’s game and although they aren’t in that much form.

    I could do on ft
    1. Haaland, Dibling to Salah and Pedro(bench) and keep Foden
    2. Haaland, foden, dibling to Salah, Saka and Pedro(bench)
    3. Leave Haaland and Foden on this week as they are pretty much differential this week and just transfer gvardiol to Gabriel
    4. Just transfer Foden to Bruno and decide later

So basically all my questions revolve around Saka. I can’t get Saka without removing haaland. As i think both Haaland and Salah might get the same amount of points until Jan if they’re not injured.

Is Saka that much essential instead of Bruno for next 5/7 games so that I have to completely avoid watching City’s game?

Few options I'm considering this GW.

    - Save FT
    - one of Greaves/Mykolenko/Lewis to Konate or Dunk/Van Hecke
    - Solanke to Isak

Defenders are probably OK this GW and leaning towards the Isak move.

Let's see what the pressers and training photos/videos bring closer to the deadline after IB.

A: Verbruggen, Gabriel, Kerkez, Hall, Salah, Palmer, Saka, Fernandes, Isak, Jimenez, Pedro / S: Fabianski, Rogers, Davis, Faes / 0m in bank

B: Flekken, Gvardiol, Gabriel, Ait-Nouri, Mbeumo, Salah, Rogers, ESR, Raul, Wood, Haaland / S: Valdi, Johnson, Mykolenko, Faes / 1.7m in bank

Spurs away in GW13 is arguably a good fixture too. I mean Ipswich just beat them.

And then between GW17-22 he has amazing fixtures:
        Southampton (H), Bournemouth (H), Ipswich (H), West Ham (A), Leicester (A).

United's line ups are going to be absolute guess work for a while won't they? dont feel confident at all about having dalot now, if Amorim will use a winger in 1 of the wing back positions. even bruno having to compete with amad/mount/eriksen/rashford etc might see less gametime for the time being

not as a starter, but won't amorim want to give them some gametime to prove themselves in the league? can see bruno getting subbed off on 75-ish more often, i guess EL matches matter now as well if United want top 8

idk, maybe Bruno's minutes will be as secure as ever and he wont be used in EL, but its a risk atm no? or is this overthinking.

Yeah overthinking - no one cares about Europa, so that’s where the likes of Eriksen and Mount will pick up minutes (if not injured yet again).

Main focus should be getting top 4 - we’ve had a shocking start and we’re still only 4 points off 3rd, so it’s still very doable.
