I think this is a nice front 7. Losing sanchez that is.
    Firmino /hazard /Walcott /coutinho /kun/lukaku /Austin. (capoue on bench)

Only for Walcotts minutes and whether he keeps up good form or not id go with this.

    Good or mediocre?

I think it looks pretty solid. Pretty standard front 7 on here from what I understand.

so it depends whether you want to do the safe route or a more risky one, where you try to be ahead of the curve with Kane for example.

What does your defence look like?

        Bad at the minute.
        Pickford
        Walker/smith/holebas/Fuchs.

I get what your saying. Too similar to my rivals in MLS tbh.

That's my front 7 after Sanchez > Haz this week

But always looking at possibilities, particularly Lukaku > Costa/Kane

That's my current front 8, with Allen instead of Cackpoo. I reckon it looks good. As others have mentioned, shifting Lukaku later on would be the best next move ( according to fixtures and all that I mean).

Most will go Couts first but I have a thing for Firmino. He is involved in so much. I think he will be consistent whereas Coutinho's goalscoring form might go off the boil at some point

    Folks. Need some ideas.

    My current team:

    Foster

    Kosc Rose Pieters

    Haz Firm Cout Wally Allen

    Kun Kaku

    Sub: Pickford Evans Amat Keane(!)

    A) Sanchez out for 6 weeks confirmed? If yes, my squad very thin with Sanchez, Keane and Amat as non-playing players.

    B) Amat + Sanchez ---> Friend + Hazard for -4 hits. Worth it?

    1. Rossamous
      • 12 Years
      9 years, 1 month ago

Don't see the point in transferring Amat out for a hit

    2. Licious Lizard
      • 12 Years
      9 years, 1 month ago

it is not confirmed that Sanchez is even out, let alone for six weeks. But there certainly is a risk that it is true or he is at least out for a bit.

Don't take Amat out for a hit. You will be benching friend this week anyway.

      1. Moose™
        • 13 Years

Wait for confirmation then? Do you think it is worth it to transfer Rose or Kosc to make funds for Austin?

Some people may struggle to field Eleven so maybe a good time to ship Amat out?
Of course he could be recalled to the starting lineup soon

            • 12 Years

But for a hit? and yes there is the added chance that amat will play, although small.

        2. Licious Lizard
          • 12 Years
          9 years, 1 month ago

Difficult to say yet. But Sanchez doesn't look like dropping tonight and Hazard doesn't look like rising.

There is a small risk of Friend and Austin rising tonight, so it is up to you whether you want to risk it or not.

Don't know what I would do in your situation. You wouldn't want to transfer Rose or Kosc out if Sanchez is out I assume, as you would be making the funds with Sanchez -> Hazard transfer?

Basically it is a risk game.

    But got
De Bruyne Sanchez Hazard Countino Lallana
    Costa Lukaku (Barnes)

Do you think trade off is worth it

Pickford has been at 100 for a few days I think. At least he was yesterday.

My experience is that anything over 80 COULD happen, so probably top ten is a possibility.
fantasyfootballfix also has Kingsley as a riser tonight, but they had him as a riser yesterday as well...

Depends on your situation I guess. Most people aren't fans of early transfers - especially not during international breaks, where you could see more injuries.

He COULD rise, but not a certainty. So it depends whether you want to risk an early transfer to save 0.1m. But he will probably rise tomorrow or the day after anyway, as he has a double blue arrow.

Ah okay. I am as well.

I need to sell Alonso (who already rose 0.1m) to a 4.5 to afford Austin though. So I am doing it tonight anyway, as I don't see Alonso rising before Austin does...

Nah. on a WC so only brought in Alonso to raise TV because I hoped he would double rise. To afford Austin I need to downgrade Alonso to a cheaper def.

So not sure what I am doing wrong? If you are suggesting that another def has as good a chance of rising 0.2 before deadline as Alonso has of rising once, please let me know...

Can't really afford the front 8 I want with a chelsea def.

Hazard, Coutinho, Gundogan, Allen, Sanchez (may become KDB if out)
            Aguero, Lukaku, Austin.

I know my team value isn't very good, but have decided to go cheap in the back - at least if Sanchez is out.

Thanks. I got Allen for 4.8m, so I dont think I have a lot of cash on the bench. And when one of my front 8 is out for 1 match (restet, small injury or suspended) it wont be a problem for me. But I see what you mean.

    Foster
    Alonso, Fuchs, Pieters
    Hazard, Coutinho, Firmino, Allen
    Aguero, Costa, Lukaku c

    Jaku, Capoue, Holebas, Amat

Hopefully no more injuries or rests when the players return from ib. I'm also hoping Trump destroys Clinton then puts both Clinton's in prison for life.

Yeah I guess he is currently out of favour, but not so sure he won't get another chance. What I have heard is that the fans on the forums are fans of him and expecting him to be given a chance. Also mentioned in line up lessons that he could return...

The fans can have their opinion but they don't choose the team unfortunately. I was bewildered that Amat was dropped in the first place, he was arguably their best defender over the first 8 games.

Yeah I think he did pretty good from what I saw. but not knowledgeable about Swansea this season tbh. Why I am trying to listen carefully when their fans are talking. And if Kingsley/Amat gets nailed, they COULD be a decent option for a 5th mid. Great fixtures from GW 15, but unfortunately Swansea are just AWFUL at the back.

I'd get rid of Wilson before Amat. Amat better chance to come back into the side I think. I'd go Brunt over Cavies. Would also consider Cedric if he's fit, Morgan, Francis, and maybe Lowton or Mee.

Saints have 2 pretty tough fixtures in the next 2 which puts me off Cedric. Leicester have good fixtures on paper but have been rubbish away from home and they have 3 away games in their next 5, Burnley the same.

WBA have 2 cleans all season and Hull are the worst team in the league. Everyone has their warts.

But they have had some tough fixtures in the last 4 GWs and have often been unlucky with a late goal. Nyom at 4.3, Brunt OOP or McAuley with attacking threat, all with a good chance of a couple of CSs in the next 5. Good picks imo.

True, but there is potential there. We all know what Pulis is capable of defensively and Hull just beat Southampton which they will take great confidence from, and Curtis davies has real goal threat espeically with Snodgrass on set-pieces.

Yeah exactly. Wouldn't do Leicester with their fixtures and the only defensive option in Burnley's side is Heaton imo.

Can't see better options below 5.0 than WBA.

Brunt is 4.9, playing OOP and WBA has 3 good fixtures lined up, with 4 good one out of the next 5.

Also people are still convinced that they will return to Pulis-esqu tactics soon 😉

Yep although he hasn't been back for long, so I guess his role is still a little bit uncertain. Like him as an option although he wasn't on as many set pieces against Leicester as people here led me to believe he would be. But he has been in the past.

Yeah I get what you are saying. Maybe he will be in more in the future, not really sure.

But I am definitely looking at WBA def for the next 5 weeks. On WC so almost certainly doubling up on them, but my defence is super cheap and can't see many other options with their prospects at that price.

McAuley, Brunt or Nyom for price are good options imo.

Who is currently on most set-pieces for West Brom? Or is it shared around?

Brunt, McAuley and even Dawson with his goal threat are all appealing although Dawson's BPS is terrible.

Think it is shared around atm. Phillips took most of them against Leicester, but Brunt haven't been back for long and Chadli wasn't on the pitch.

From what I remember and understand around here is that Brunt usually took a lot of corners and some FKs, but I still think it is uncertain at this point.

Dawson looked very dangerous against Leicester, but he is also on 4 yellows, so would probably stay away as any WBA defender is a 5 week move imo.

McAuley has the goal threat and Evans got a few bonus point here and there last season if I recall correctly.

I think I am going for McAuley (and Nyom for a budget option).

Seriously considering captaining Arnautovic or Allen (BOU), especially considering they just lost to lowly Sunderland. I think their confidence will have taken a huge hit, in addition Adam Smith is also suspended.

Who would you transfer Alli to? Thinking about Snoddy at the moment since he's probably on pens and they have a decent run coming. Only got 8.3 to spend and there isn't a lot going on in that price range.

Could take a hit to move Bellerin to a 4.5-5m and get an extra 1.5-2m to spend though.

Have Coutinho, Hazard, Allen and Walcott already.

    1. Walsh
      • 12 Years

Makes zero sense to spend the transfer when you have Allen. Save and reassess after unpredictable post-intl GW with two frees assuming you don't have any other injuries and can field 11.

    Deadzone Dilemma,

I transferred Firminho out to catch Hazard's price rises and to have the great man in my team. I also have Coutinho, if Sanchez is confirmed crocked, would I be mad to bring Firminho back in with a -4?

of course it is a shame with the turn of events, but let's hope he will be okay.

If not a double up on Liverpool could be very profitable, although a slight risk with the two Brazilians the first game against Soton after the international break. After that great fixtures.

Hey guys, a bit of discussion about Brunt @ 4.9m who is currently OOP and is on a share of set-pieces.

I was worried about him coming back from an 8 month injury lay-off but this article has somewhat quelled my fears of a re-injury.

It shows that his cardiovascular fitness, maximum speed and body fat % is the same as pre-injury.

Hopefully the world does not end up paying too dearly for this "mistake" by Americans.

I am really trying not to be too dramatic, but I believe this will have dire consequences.

Morning dzzz, did my early transfer but inclined towards taking a hit for a defender as amat seems to have been dropped...have 1.5m itb

    Heaton -- Grant
Fuchs pieters amat --- smith holebas
walcott hazard firmino coutinho --- fletcher
    kaku kun austin

A: amat >> 5.6m def (-4)..clyne? stones? van dijk? West brom def is an option but they have a tough fixture this gw

B: smith >> alonso (-4)...bournemouth have tough fixtures over the next 8-9 gameweeks but chelsea also have TOT and mci in gw13/14. Also since i am taking a hit for a defender, i would much rather get rid of Amat unless he becomes a starter again

didnt realise wba had a good fixture this gw so amat >> brunt/mcauly is def an option

Note the chance of winning presidency graph, it would be extremely weird if it did take a U-turn.

If I was a betting man, gotta be Trump
