In our final article of the evening, we check in on the Opta data in the first members’ article of the Gameweek, pinpointing some of the most impressive performers over the ten fixtures so far.

Delving into the numbers, our attentions turn to in-form midfielders from Everton and West Ham ahead of a reduced Gameweek 28.

Swansea and Southampton both supply us with a pair of eye-catching assets, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s numbers come under analysis as his owners take to the transfer market in light of today’s suspension.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Hello all, quick question - I could ditch Sterling this week for a hit and get anyone up to £9.2m, is that worth doing for a GW28 mid (probably LIV / EVE - already have Mane), and if so for who?

Was planning to get rid of Sterling anyway for Eriksen in a couple of weeks time, but not sure if a switch to someone else now is a good idea or not....

    Current 10-man GW28 team:

    Jaku (Pickford)
Coleman / McAuley / Mawson / Maguire (Alonso)
    Mane / Siggy / T. Carroll / Phillips (Sterling)
    Lukaku (Kane, Aguero)

    Cheers

Gerrard played with many an average player in his pool career yet never took it upon himself to berate players for not being as good as him or throw his hands in the air when things not going his way,he just concentrated on his own performance and lifting the team.

Not the answer in my book, but I'm no Arsenal fan.
Most managers would bite your hand off to be manager at a club like Arsenal and would be wetting themselves at the prospects of what they could do with squad.

Kronke is happy with Asrenal finishing in the Top 4 every season and getting CL football. The man couldn't give a toss if Arsenal never won a trophy again just as long as they finish in the Top 4

And there we have it. Wenger gets a lot of stick for the transfer policy, some warranted of course (his constant "I could have signed him" remarks are irritating) but it is tough to get the best and brightest when you don't have the full backing or drive from the higher ups.

As I keep harping on about, look at the Sanchez situation. You don't buy a guy like that, one who would knife his own granny for a shot at winning a league title, and then fail to support him with other strong, hungry players. Better off not buying at all, unless your plan is simply to make a profit, which it seems more and more likely it is.

It's tough to get the best and brightest when the best and brightest want better than 4th place and getting urinated on year in year out at the highest level of the CL.. The best want to compete with the best.. they can't do that at Arsenal it's been evident for a long long time.. it's why their best players want out.. nothing to do with board backing there is a hell of a lot of money available to Wenger and he has spent a great deal of it on players that aren't up to the task.. that's before we even go into his on pitch tactics which never change

    Baines McAuley Amat
    Firmino Siggy Allen Phillips
    Lukaku Carrol Llorente

    (Mannone, Walker, Alonso, Hazard)

Took a -4 to field this team. Anything else worth a -4?

Evening all, curious which defenders people may be bringing in this week, seems like a decent time to shift Amat for a hit. Would welcome thoughts on the following, leaning towards A currently.

      A. Olsson but can't see Swans keeping clean sheets, so reliant on attacking returns.

      B. Maguire/Robertson but already have Jakupovic. Hull double up ?

      C. FM & double up on Everton D (have Coleman), 4 of the next 6 fixtures are sweet.

Makes sense, I will probably ditch Pieters as opposed to Amat if I opt for FM as only .2 in it then. A lot more chance of a CS with FM and surely he has a goal in him too. Amat can stick around until WC if he really must, the rest of my team feels pretty solid so want to focus on tidying up loose ends in 28, prime opportunity.
