Saturday’s events continue with a batch of five afternoon kick-offs with Fantasy managers likely to be focused on events at Wembley Stadium.
Spurs host Stoke City with Harry Kane backed by 1.1 million managers as the leading captain pick for Gameweek 16.
This looks to be a make or break encounter for Kane’s Fantasy fortunes. He has blanked in eight of 14 starts so far and, more significantly, he’s produced goals and points in just two of his seven home outings.
Up against a Stoke City defence that have shipped 30 goals – second only to West Ham (32) – and allowed the most big chances (35) this season, Kane will surely get opportunities to underline his heavy-hitter status and restore the faith.
Meanwhile, Burnley’s popular defensive options will collide with Watford’s Richarlison at Turf Moor in a clash that will divide Fantasy managers. The Brazilian has returned a goal or an assist in six of his seven away trips so far, though he now faces a backline that has conceded just three goals in home matches. Ben Mee – owned by 13.7% – misses out for Sean Dyche’s side, while Matt Lowton is also sidelined.
Elsewhere, Huddersfield host Brighton at the John Smith’s Stadium with the visitors’ Pascal Gross the most popular Fantasy asset on show. The German is backed by 21.2% but has just a single return – his goal against Stoke in Gameweek 12 – from his last five Gameweeks.
Crystal Palace entertain Bournemouth at Selhurst Park with the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Wilfried Zaha drawing attention, while at the Liberty Stadium, Swansea City face a crunch contest with West Brom. Surprisingly, Tammy Abraham – owned by 11.1% – is benched by Swans’ boss Paul Clement in this one.
