Dugout Discussion – Burnley vs Man City

The Gameweek begins under the rain at Turf Moor, as Burnley host champions-elect Manchester City.

For Fantasy managers, this immediately puts key assets and – for many – the Gameweek captain – under scrutiny.

Sergio Aguero takes on the Clarets on the back of a six-point return in midweek and a 17-point blast against Newcastle last weekend.

The Argentine has boosted his ownership by 295,000 managers ahead of the early kick-off, having scored both City goals in the corresponding fixture last season.

Kevin De Bruyne was rested in that match but starts today as he bids to extend his compelling form that has delivered a goal and five assists in his last six Gameweeks. However, he has produced just a single goal and assist in his last six on the road.

Raheem Sterling’s away record – with two goals and three assists in that same six-match spell – is stronger, though he boasts just a single goal in his last five Gameweeks.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

        Oh mate that is harsh.

        I wouldn't worry too much about Ota, Sterling and Kun though - everyone has them it seems, so shouldn't impact you too much, although (C) on Kun is gonna sting..

        But those transfers... why wouldn't you think Jones and Pogba would start?! I swear Mourinho does shit like this just to mess with Fantasy managers. Only explanation!

          Mourinho is a crap manager who's had hundreds of millions of pounds thrown at him.

          Just look at some of the players he got rid of as being no good(KDB,Salah and co).or some of the ones that won't even loom at him(Hazard)

          As man manager he's garbage and any behind the scenes problems are entirely of his own making.

          To be fair, he raises a valid point.

          If De Bruyne & Salah signed for United, everyone would describe them as flops. We wouldn't see anything close to the form we've seen from them. Putting shackles on your best players deserves to be criticised. You spend stupid money on these players because they can unlock defences. You don't play them out of position.
