The Technical Area – Breaking Gameweek 31’s Template

With just four fixtures confirmed for Gameweek 31 so far, Fantasy Premier League (FPL) options for this particular weekend appear thin on the ground.

Restricted to just three players from any one side, managers find themselves exploring hitherto uncharted waters in the hopes of fleshing out a starting lineup capable of returning an adequate points haul.

Though a number of us may choose to preserve our Free Hit Chips for Gameweek 35 instead – content to roll out just seven or eight players in Gameweek 31 – others may view this Gameweek as an ideal opportunity to deploy the Free Hit now in order to gain ground on the pack.

With this in mind, this Technical Area will be looking beyond the obvious candidates for filling out our Gameweek 31 squads and pinpointing some high-upside players capable of big returns.

    What’s best strategy for someone without FH. But all other chips

    Thinking get nine out for 31
    Wildcard 32. Load up on 34 doubles. Bench boost 34
    Pray in 35. But make sure have city arsenal etc. Who have double 34

    Take hits to get doublers 37 and TC 37

    35 could be brutal

    The leader in my league leads me with 100 pts but is without the FH chip. Therefore I need to maximize this chip as much as I can...

    So far my plan is to have 8 players for GW31
    WC in GW32 (having in mind 34 and 37)
    Bench boost in GW34
    FH in GW35
    TC in 37

    Do you think this is a good plan? Generally is 35 giving us better chances of points with the Free hit Chip?

          haha you could say I have spoken from experience. I would say hes okay for bench fodder maybe but even then he gets injured so easily and watford can barely keep a CS so i dont see much point unless you are desperately trying to free up some funds
