The Big Numbers – Gameweek 35

Next, we take a look back at the post-match data in our usual members’ analysis of the previous Gameweek.

We skew our analysis towards Double Gameweek 37 assets, as Man City, Arsenal and West Ham’s attacks all feature. Meanwhile, Newcastle’s form at both ends of the pitch is also assessed prior to their favourable weekend fixture and double-header.

2-0. Countless chances missed. Complete domination.
    Sounds too familiar.
I think Roma will do to Liverpool what United did to City in the second half.

If Real win this tournament Ronaldo will get Ballon Dor by default, but scoring loads in tge Real team against la liga opponents who most weeks are just not competitive is nowhere near as impressive as what Salah has done this season in a lesser side and a tougher league. He deserves it by a mile no matter what happens now

Ronaldo might win it for his performances against teams like Dortmund, Tottenham, Juventus and PSG, not because of his performance in La Liga. Messi has been far, far better than Ronaldo in the league.

Ronaldo has 6 goals and 2 assists in 4 games against PSG and Juventus in the knockout stage. You have to be delusional to think Ronaldo has been nowhere near Salah.

    5. Somalion
      • 14 Years
      6 years, 2 days ago

Though Ronaldo has faced far more difficult teams in the CL and if he helps Real win it, having helped them overcome incredibly tough games, there's a fair argument.

Also we overrate the lower fodder in the PL something shocking. Pool aren't as good as Real, no question, but the lower sides in the PL are just as easily battered as La Liga sides imo.

Surely if pool reach finals. Salah should get balloon d or just on the basis of excitement he delivers on the pitch. Also the most humble guy on the pitch. Didn't celebrate both goals against his previous club

    1. I Member
      • 8 Years
      6 years, 2 days ago

You don't win the Ballon d'Or for delivering excitement or being humble. He should however win it because he's been the best player on the planet this season but he needs to win the Champions League in order to topple Ronaldo and Messi. If one of those two wins the World Cup you can forget about it.

Salah has been an incredible player this season; most consistently performing in the world surely. Top class.

As a united fan, the thought of liverpool winning the champions league is very discomforting.

Apart from the city match, must say pool have had an easy run in...who would be tougher opponent for pool in the finals...Madrid or Bayen

    1. CloudSky

Probably Bayern. Their back line is more organized to deal with Firm/Salah and midfield is good enough to control the game from the get go. A lot depends on Alabas' fitness.
