This season, we are running a Fantasy Football Scout league on Superbru’s Premier League Predictor game.

It’s free and fun to play, there are cash prizes on offer every week – including £50,000 if you can predict all 10 matches in a round – and it will also help to sharpen your Fantasy Football thinking ahead of the weekend.

Many of your Fantasy decisions are based on your predictions about what will happen in each match. For instance, you may end up captaining Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) because you predicted that Liverpool will thrash Cardiff, or you pick a Chelsea defender because you don’t think Huddersfield will score against them.

By going through the process of making predictions and entering them on Superbru, it will help to provide clarity in your team selection for that round.

Furthermore, you’ll also be adding your wisdom to the crowd. Hutch_James wrote a preview for each Gameweek last season, using the aggregated predictions from the Superbru community. Those predictions performed better than 99% of individuals in the game, proving that the collective knowledge of football fans can be greater than one person’s individual knowledge.

Please get involved and lend your own predictions to the community, and Hutch will return with the series again this year.

Scoring system

The scoring system is simple but smart, and designed to reward accuracy.

Prizes

You could win up to £50,000 depending on the number of exact scores you can predict in each round of 10 matches!

– 10 exact scores: £50,000
– 9 exact scores: £10,000
– 8 exact scores: £1,000
– 7 exact scores: £500
– 6 exact scores: Your choice of Premier League jersey
– 5 exact scores: a Superbru Yellow Cap

It’s totally free to play, so you might as well have a go.

Recruitment incentive

Superbru is great fun when you play with your friends or work colleagues. Over 90% of people say they would recommend Superbru to a friend and if you do just that, it will be worth your while.

Set up your own league and invite 10 new UK-based people to Superbru, and you could be eligible for £50 at the end of the tournament. See the T&Cs and how it works

Superbru app

The app is the best way to play the game – it’s quick and simple, with live scoring and lots of other cool features.

Download the free Superbru app from the App Store or Google Play.

Wisdom of the Crowd articles

Look out for the Gameweek 1 preview on Friday, with the aggregated predictions for the first round of matches as we all look to get a fast start in Fantasy Premier League. The more people that join, the better those predictions should be, so please do get involved.

I am currently running with the foursome of

    Alli Moses Pedro & Shaw

Is there any glarring issue with either of the above that may result in them missing gw1 or 2. They are all differentials as such but I prefer to avoid the early headache of a gw1 or 2 no show. As such opinions welcome

Bit problamatic for sure. They form a big part of my team. I didnt notice alli much during the world cup. I will monitor alk the above for sure. Rich may be safer for pedro and struggling for a replacement for alli. Mahrez seems to have a yellow flag deside him. What are your thoughts on DSilva instead of alli. Less or similar risk..Have BSilva

Recommended ffs to a friend, he found the scoutcast, and was shocked that there was "a market for fantasy only content"(!)

Had a bit of a look on YouTube and the amount of people who listen there seems to vary from about 15-25,000 an episode during the season. Does anyone know what the actual viewership slash listenership is tough, thanks!

I'm always keen to have at least one player in my GW1 team who's a bit of a punt. Who do you think will be the go-to person this season who really performs but wasn't one of the more obvious choices.

Some I have in mind currently are:

        Maddison
        Keita
        Mitrovic
        Schurrie
        Lucus Moura
        Yarmolenko

          I like that idea.'

Maddison - dont know much about him, risky
Keita - dont waste Liv spot. too punty
Mitrovic - looks like the best punt imo
Schurrie - really nice one, could be maverick at 6.0
Lucus Moura - may be short term but also nice
Yarmolenko - was injured so not sure and dont know what formation WHU will play. too punty

I like the Keita pick. 7.5m should be nailed and more than likely the most attacking mid behind the front 3. With the amount of goals Liverpool score he’s bound to get returns

Is Frank Lampard going to see today that management isn't as easy as it looks when he's in the pundit's chair?

Down to the last few decisions with my team, going for a 442 with a big backline at the moment.
Is it better value to have:
        A: Aguero and Keita/another 7.5 mid
        or
        B: Firmino and Mahrez

I'm on B at the moment but think Aguero is potentially a must have captaincy option for the first part of the season, particularly if they play 352.

Any thoughts would be great on this issue, cheers 🙂

I think probably B, assuming Mahrez is fit. I'd like to see how Jesus and Aguero play before getting them in.

Yes but with Gibson joining Lowton might now be a tad better

I've gone for Lowton, because he might get a few assists. I had Mee all last season, so I can tell you he didn't get a single goal!

Last season I had Lowton. 🙂

But from what I recall Mee was quite dangerous from set pieces and unlucky a few times.

Derby under Lampard are not great against Reading.

Anybody know of any FPL leagues that have a prize fund? Found this today (https://sportingopinion.org/sporting-opinion-fantasy-premier-league/) and figured there must be some others out there?
