Investing heavily in Chelsea and Liverpool has proved a successful strategy for many this season. But with these two title contenders going head to head in Gameweek 7, is this ‘eggs in one basket’ tactic about to come unstuck?

David, Andy and Az join me to discuss the best strategy for dealing with these tricky ties when so many highly owned players are squaring up against each other.

We also consider the merits of bringing in the likes of Everton talisman Richarlison (£6.6m) and Arsenal’s newly sure-starting striker Alexandre Lacazette (£9.4m), as they answer the community’s questions.

Tapping into Spurs’ fine fixture run, and in particular, the improving form of Harry Kane (£12.4m), is also on the bill. But will Andy’s ambitious plan to swoop for the Tottenham forward leave him with egg on his face?

    Think going to get Richarlison for Mané and Kane for Ings and will get Salah back in couple of weeks. Still got WC. Does this team look good to go? Probably captain Aguero this week and Kane next week

      I'm tempted to say nothing involving Bamba is worth a -8, but the Kane and Richi could/should deliver points, and only Salah in a difficult game is gonna offer anything from the first three. I guess it boils down to the strength of your bench. If you've players to come in who will start, I'd never do a -8... that's literally what your bench is there to avoid.

    Moura played 70 minutes today. Thoughts on his chances of starting again this weekend? Could see Alli and Eriksen starting. That leaves one spot for Moura and Son (who came on as a substitute).

    Thinking of taking a hit to get Moura out for Richarlison. Would you?

    How many goals do you expect City to score past Brighton?

    Liverpool only managed 1 this season (looking at away bus purking Brighton).
    Las season City scored 3 and Liverpool scored 4 (highest n0 of goals Brighton has conceded that season I believe).

    What to do here lads? I have the fear re Haz and Rich (and partially Kane) and feel some hits may be justified:

    C) Mané, PVA > Hazard, Duffy/ Boly (-8)
    D) Mané, Pedro > Haz, up to 6.0 mid (-8)

    G) Hold and suck up the fear of not owning Haz, Rich, Madd, Tripp etc etc

      you allready have mane so i think losing salah wouldnt be so awful. if you want to gave safer i would choose A. and i prefer rich for this round even tho maddison has looked great. if you want to risk a little bit E also sounds great.
