Hazard the Fantasy focal point as Chelsea kick-off Gameweek 9

Eden Hazard (£11.4m) will be the Fantasy Premier League focal point as Chelsea get Gameweek 9 started this lunch-time.

He comes into the Blues’ meeting with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge as the second-most owned asset in FPL, behind only Sergio Aguero (£11.3m) with 51.0% backing.

Fantasy managers will also be hoping for a clean sheet with Marcos Alonso (£7.0m) still in 45.9% of squads.

Investment in Manchester United has waned in recent weeks with their most popular option David De Gea (£5.8m). He remains owned by 18% despite going four Gameweeks without a clean sheet.

Their most fashionable outfield option is Paul Pogba (£8.1) with 13.9% backing. Interestingly, the Frenchman has been tipped by  Joe’s famed Goals Imminent table.

On the injury front, both Antonio Rudiger (£5.9m) and Mateo Kovacic (£5.9m) came through doubts over their fitness while Ross Barkley (£5.7m) was named on the bench.

Luke Shaw (£5.1m) overcame his knock to start for Man United.

          Are you sure Salah starts? I have my doubts over Salah and Mane today. Shaqiri, Firmino and Sturridge are good enough to do a job on Huddersfield.

        Sterling not really being punished. If anything he is being rewarded by being given a rest when more important games are coming and he is needed (e.g. Shakhtar - remember City lost their first game so need wins and Spurs).

            We dont he full story, yes it is likely that he caused a lot of trouble himself but i would be far from putting all.the blame on him.
            Looks like the whole world is against him and the pressure he is working under is huge but he is not giving up and if in the end he will achieve good result then this will require recognition.

        To be fair, it sounds like Utd have played Hazard well (by fair means or foul).
        RE: Alonso, definitely one to look at but with the fixtures coming up it would seem crazy time to swap him out unless you're trying to raise funds.
