Emotional afternoon ahead as Leicester travel to Cardiff City

The attention of the football world will be on the Cardiff City Stadium this afternoon as Leicester City play their first match since the tragic passing of chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

Talismanic striker Jamie Vardy (£9.0m) returns to the starting line-up after featuring as a second-half substitute against West Ham in Gameweek 10. Meanwhile James Maddison (£7.0m) appears to be deployed just behind him in a 4-4-1-1 formation.

Meanwhile, midfielder Callum Paterson (£5.2m) starts a fourth successive match as the centre-forward for Cardiff.

Likewise, Richarlison (£6.8m) is used up front for Everton, extending his run of games in that position to four in a row. Bernard (£5.9m), Theo Walcott (£6.4m) and Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.5m) remain the attacking midfield trio behind the Brazilian.

Marko Arnautovic (£7.0m) returns to the West Ham team after missing out on Gameweek 10 with an illness. Matej Vydra (£5.8m) has been named in the Burnley side to face the Hammers for the fist time since Gameweek 7.

Everybody’s new favourite budget striker Isaac Success (£4.6m) was on the Watford teamsheet for the third match in a row, furthering his appeal.

You got Arnie's pinball assist, so should be pleased.

Arny was robbed two other assists after brilliant plays and poor finishing as well as a few great saves from Hart. He deserved every bit of his points today, not luck.

No goals were actually scored so hardly robbed of assists, I see this comment regularly I can’t get my head around the concept 🙂

Basically, he deserved points for doing something far more impressive than a lot of other assisters who make a simple pass or just happen to be the last person to touch the ball before a wonder strike etc.. in my opinion. I think assist points are flawed, being that big chances created count of nothing. But that's just the way the game is and we all know that from the start.

I understand that he did some good things, but it is not as if a perfectly good goal was incorrectly disallowed that he would have had the assist for, now that is robbed of an assist ... still can’t get my head people complaining about not getting an assist when there is no actual goal ... but hey ho, each to their own 🙂

Poor choice of words by the letter of the laws I supposed. Not robbed in the sense you have in mind, but let down by the points system.
There's that aspect, but it's usually more complaining about a poor finish than the rules. It always feels like the payers you don't have get assist for wonder goals, and the players you have miss out on assists from missed tap-ins.

I know I am being pedantic, sorry 🙂

I think it’s just the phrase bar I see it a lot, I understand saying something like ‘player x has messed up an assist for Arnie’, but robbed suggests an entitlement, but I know what you mean 🙂

Now in a true sense of robbery, they're saying Mane's goal should have stood 😉 just can't win today lol

        Disater of transfers this week

        I did
        Pereira out Duffy in
Wilson out Vardy in for a -4

That cost me 12 points at least I am set up nicely for next week though

Might use both FT to downgrade Ryan to 4.0m and upgrade Mitrovic to Arnautovic. Good idea?

        Fabianski
        Alonso Mendy Robertson
        Salah Hazard Richarlison Fraser
        Aguero Wilson Mitrovic
        (Ryan, Bennett, AWB, Stephens)

Grey's celebration for the Leicester boss was great to see.
But it makes you wonder, how ofter are undershirts with writing wasted when players just don't score?
