Trippier starts but key Spurs men remain out of first XI

Kieran Trippier (£6.3m) is set for a tenth consecutive league start as Tottenham Hotspur visit Wolves this evening.

The right-back has been considered a rotation risk in the past but he has been ever-present since returning from the World Cup with Serge Aurier (£5.8m) largely consigned to the bench.

However, a large number of key Spurs men remain out of the first XI with Christian Eriksen (£9.2m) and Son Heung-min (£8.3m) on the bench for a third match in a row.

Dele Alli (£8.9m) is left out of the match day squad altogether, despite a comeback from injury in the League Cup midweek.

Juan Foyth, not in FPL yet, starts at centre-back with Davinson Sánchez (£5.8m) on the bench.

Meanwhile, hosts Wolves make one change to the side that lost at Brighton in Gameweek 10, with Adama Traore (£5.4m) dropping out for Ivan Cavaleiro (£5.3m).

Wolves XI: Patricio; Boly, Coady, Bennett; Jonny, Moutinho, Neves, Doherty; Caveleiro, Jimenez, Costa

Spurs XI: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Foyth, Davies, Sissoko, Dembele, Winks, Lamela, Lucas, Kane.

Unlikely given he just said he was as fresh as a daisy and critical to the team.

Here's my team. Pretty happy with it. 2 FT and 1.5 itb.

    Ederson – (Hamer)
    Alonso – Mendy – TAA – (Balbuena – WB)
    Hazard – Mane – Martial – Richarlison – (Gunnarson)
    Kun – Arnie – Mitro

Plan was to do TAA to Robbo. Should I also swap Mitro to Wilson?

Absolutely hilarious the scenes on here. Last week Jimenez was apparently dead wood. Now a great option. Last week Maddison was just going through a dry patch but playing well. Now he's dead wood. It's like watching a tragicomedy.

I'd wait until Arsenal's brutal fixtures come back into play. He should score v Wolves.

Depends how you use the change. Arnie is a great option but so is Laca.

I hope Maddison gets 10 plus points to punish sellers. He has created chances but his team mates have been wasteful

23 points on wc about as bad as it gets. Jimenez, pereira and richarlison out the door. Thanks to pereyra, Balbuena and Fabianski for contributing. Tomorrow’s games basically irrelevant for most people but I can’t complain if Aguero, mendy, hazard or Alonso hauls
