Mitrovic the most-owned asset in Monday’s match despite mass exodus

The Premier League’s least-effective attack takes on the division’s leakiest defence in the final match of Gameweek 11, which kicks off at 20:00 GMT.

Huddersfield Town haven’t scored in any of their five home fixtures this season and indeed going back to March of this year have only found the back of the net on one occasion in ten Premier League matches at the John Smith’s Stadium.

The Terriers have registered fewer big chances and shots on target in 2018/19 than any of the other 19 top-flight clubs.

Fulham’s defensive problems this season are well-documented and the Cottagers have shipped more goals (28) than any side in the English top tier – despite playing one fewer match than all teams bar Huddersfield.

Aleksandar Mitrovic (£6.7m) has delivered an attacking return in three of Fulham’s five away fixtures this season but plenty of Fantasy managers have lost faith in the Serbian striker, who is without a goal since Gameweek 6.

Mitrovic was the most-sold FPL forward of Gameweek 11 and has also been transferred out by more Fantasy bosses than any other player in the run-up to Gameweek 12, with the Cottagers in action against Liverpool next Sunday.

Only two forwards have registered more attempts on goal than the former Newcastle United target-man this season, but his attacking KPIs have taken a nosedive in recent weeks with even team-mate Aboubakar Kamara (£4.3m) having racked up more shots than Mitrovic from Gameweek 8 onwards.

Andre Schurrle (£5.9m) is the next most-owned FPL asset of the players starting tonight.

Just two FPL midfielders have registered more shots on goal than the former Chelsea midfielder this season.

Slavisa Jokanovic has made one change from the strong starting XI  that was beaten 2-0 by Manchester City in the Carabao Cup last Thursday, with Maxime Le Marchand (£4.3m) replacing Tim Ream (£4.3m).

Ryan Sessegnon (£6.0m) is once again deployed at left-back, while Tom Cairney (£4.8m) gets his first league start since Gameweek 3.

David Wagner has made three alterations to his starting XI, meanwhile, with Terence Kongolo (£4.3m), Florent Hadergjonaj (£4.4m) and Steve Mounie (£5.8m) replacing Erik Durm (£4.4m), Isaac Mbenza (£5.9m) and Laurent Depoitre (£5.2m).

Durm misses out with a minor groin problem.

Huddersfield Town XI (3-5-1-1): Lossl; Zanka, Schindler, Kongolo; Lowe, Billing, Hogg, Mooy, Hadergjonaj; Pritchard; Mounie.

Fulham XI (4-3-3): Rico; Fosu-Mensah, Odoi, Le Marchand, Sessegnon; Cairney, Anguissa, Seri; Vietto, Mitrovic, Schurrle.
