Doherty fit to start as Vinagre replaces Jonny

Wolves take on Huddersfield Town in the second of two Premier League matches to be contested on Sunday afternoon, with kick-off at Molineux at 16:00 GMT.

The hosts will be carrying the hopes of a significant number of Fantasy managers today, with Rui Patricio (£4.6m), Ryan Bennett (£4.2m), Matt Doherty (£4.9m), Ruben Neves (£5.0m) and Raul Jimenez (£5.9m) all boasting an ownership of 10% or higher in FPL.

Not one of the Terriers’ starters features in more than 2.2% of Fantasy squads, meanwhile.

Doherty, as expected, has recovered from the facial injury that he sustained at the Emirates a fortnight ago and lines up at right wing-back.

On the opposite flank, the injured Jonny (£4.5m) is replaced by Ruben Vinagre (£4.3m) in what is Nuno Espirito Santo’s only change to his starting XI from Gameweek 12.

David Wagner is without the suspended Zanka (£4.4m) and the injured Chris Lowe (£4.4m), with those two absent defenders being replaced by Tommy Smith (£4.4m) and Erik Durm (£4.4m) respectively as the Town manager rolls out a 3-5-1-1 again.

Only Manchester City have allowed fewer big chances than Wolves this season, while the West Midlands club rank third for fewest shots in the box conceded.

The Terriers have scored fewer goals and created fewer big chances than the other 19 sides in the division.

Only five clubs – all of whom have played a game more – have registered more attempts on goal than Santo’s side in 2018/19.

Doherty has had more shots on target than any FPL defender this season, while only three forwards have registered more attempts on goal than Jimenez.

Huddersfield have shown signs of defensive improvement lately, though, and have conceded the same amount of big chances (nine) that Wolves have in their last six league matches.

Wolves XI (3-4-3): Patricio, Bennett, Coady, Boly, Doherty, Neves, Moutinho, Vinagre, Costa, Cavaleiro, Jimenez.

Huddersfield Town XI (3-5-1-1): Lossl, Schindler, Kongolo, Smith, Durm, Mooy, Hogg, Billing, Hadergjonaj, Pritchard, Mounie.

Ederson looks the best keeper to get long term I guess? Don't trust Patricio anymore..

Patricio is fine. It's what's in front of him is the problem.

True probably, He's a good keeper but don't see too many CS for wolves now

True, if you don't mind sacrificing a city slot he seems a decent 'set and forget'

      I think so

Have been pondering replacing him but he seems a nice steady option

      8/13 CS
One week with no CS but an assist
      4 weeks "blank"

And you only save what 1m maybe 1.2m to play russian roulette with the likes of Ryan, Pat, Fab, Hart

I've got Mahrez and Morata and think Ill keep for one more week. Currently on 1 FT so I could ship them both after for Kane and someone cheap.

Do you think it's a good idea? There fixtures seem really good if they actually played.

Morata is the last player I would want.

Not during 3matches in a week as he needs 3 days just to get swelling off

    Aguero Arnie

    Hart kennedy Mitro Digne

Basicall is it worth swapping DSilva for Sane. Fools gold perhaps??

It would be at a (-4)

I’d do it if that’s your gut feel. I benched 24 points this week. Last season I bench boosted in a DGW and only got 12 from it.

Alli I think as Eriksen will lose some set pieces to Trippier when he's back which decreases his appeal a little but it's a tough call. Not interested in Son ?

Thinking of hitting the wild Card as fed up with single digits from Salah & Aguero, plus several punts clogging the works.

One reason I dont have a bench fodder up front is rotation on Sterling/Sane & couldn't find where to spend the extra if I did.

Looks like a lot of headaches on who to start each week and I would worry that it would be very tricky to get in Kane / Aguero if you ever would want them. my 2c.
