Premier League sides learn FA Cup third round fate

There are just two all-Premier League ties to be played in the third round of the FA Cup this season.

Bournemouth and Brighton will go head-to-head at the Vitality Stadium while Wolves are set to host Liverpool.

While the third round of the FA Cup is still some way off, it is obviously worth taking note of the fixtures that will take place.

Those all-Premier League ties may feature slightly stronger XIs compared those involving top flight sides facing lower league opposition.

The toughest tests for those FPL teams includes Chelsea’s hosting of Nottingham Forest, who have knocked out the holders of the FA Cup five times in their last six matches against a reigning champion.

Southampton will travel to Derby County where they will take on Frank Lampard’s in-form side.

Outside of that there appear to be mostly routine matches for the remainder of the Premier League clubs, whose FPL fixtures should be largely unaffected in terms of rotation.

The matches will take place between Gameweek 21 and 22.

    People sold Haz for Sterling/Sané

Sterling/Sané to be benched and Haz to haul vs Wolves will make the second Haz bandwagon of the season? fixtures really great after City

Just so infuriatingly inconsistent. Best player to watch but for returns depends on the days he's having.

Agree, but when he scores he always get 3 bonus so he's gold in that way

Haz need one goal to get double figures, and he should benefit from Sarri-ball once Sarri can find the best attacking setup

Will hold for Wolves and sell myself, but have a feeling I might have to bring him in if City assets get rotated too much

My plan is to sell for City, and we'll see what happens after that.

he probably won't even play against Wolves but then score a brace against City after most people sell him, the guys a troll

Doherty/Jimenez not have higher ceilings than AWB? Feel like with Wan it's just about relying on a CS from him - unsure which to play.

At least one of the others may come in if Robbo misses out

true but if palace get as CS they can typically only win 1-0 and in those results AWB is a good bet for BAPs
