Premier League sides learn FA Cup third round fate

There are just two all-Premier League ties to be played in the third round of the FA Cup this season.

Bournemouth and Brighton will go head-to-head at the Vitality Stadium while Wolves are set to host Liverpool.

While the third round of the FA Cup is still some way off, it is obviously worth taking note of the fixtures that will take place.

Those all-Premier League ties may feature slightly stronger XIs compared those involving top flight sides facing lower league opposition.

The toughest tests for those FPL teams includes Chelsea’s hosting of Nottingham Forest, who have knocked out the holders of the FA Cup five times in their last six matches against a reigning champion.

Southampton will travel to Derby County where they will take on Frank Lampard’s in-form side.

Outside of that there appear to be mostly routine matches for the remainder of the Premier League clubs, whose FPL fixtures should be largely unaffected in terms of rotation.

The matches will take place between Gameweek 21 and 22.

No FTs, what are my chances of fielding XI? Not pleased about Klopps news on Mane and Robbo...

Dead leg? I’ll never get my head around why that’s an injury. You recover fully from that in about 5 minutes.

I clearly have nothing particularly helpful to add, other than to point out Pool need to win nearly every match and Robertson has already had a rest. Having said that, he did have intensive games for Scotland

Might be something do do with tge fact that they have only kept two clean sheets all season the last 7 or odd games ago. Even ManU could score against them. May be an option once this midweek fixture is over but Kolasinac more appetising even then

Aubameyang has only blanked in 1 out of 6 away fixtures this season, averaging 7.6 points per game away from home.

Kane has blanked in 3 out of 5 of his home fixtures this season, averaging 3.6 points per game at home.

    Who do you prefer?

Does anyone know why Lovren didn't play?

Remember, any one of your players could be benched with such a quick fixture turn around. All managers do it to some extent.

Make sure you have a playing bench and don't cry when Sané/Sterling/Aubameyang/Robertson/Salah or any other player is benched and you've got Peltier, Suttner and Hudson-Odoi coming on.

Need some help for this week. 2FT and 0.1M ITB.

    Ryan
    TAA, Robertson, Laporte, Alonso
    Hazard, Salah, Richarlison
    Aguero, Jimenez, Wilson

    Button, Bennett, Barkley, Masuaku

I am almost certain to do Aguero - Kane to be captain but I need to make a 2nd one. Who would you sell if you have to choose - Salah or Hazard? The next question is who to bring in. I would like city cover but given that they play Chelsea next week, I can see some rotation. What about Anderson of WH?
