Salah benched as Mane and Robertson miss out altogether

Six Premier League matches take place this evening to bring Gameweek 15 to a swift close, with many Fantasy Premier League captains – and vice-captains, following Sergio Aguero (£11.0m) and Raheem Sterling‘s (£11.5m) no-shows at Watford – set to be in action.

Mohamed Salah (£13.0m), Harry Kane (£12.4m) and Eden Hazard (£11.0m) are the second, third and fourth-most popular captaincy options of this midweek round of matches – but just two of these in-demand players start for their respective clubs tonight.

Salah is only among the substitutes for Liverpool tonight as Jurgen Klopp rings the changes at Turf Moor, with injured pair Sadio Mane (£9.8m) and Andrew Robertson (£6.5m) not in the match-day squad and Trent Alexander-Arnold (£5.3m) and Roberto Firmino (£9.2m) also dropping to the bench.

Xherdan Shaqiri (£7.0m) lines up in a front three with Divock Origi (£5.0m) and Daniel Sturridge (£5.8m).

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.2m), who has experienced price rises in three consecutive days having been transferred in by over 525,000 FPL managers ahead of last night’s deadline, also lines up for Arsenal as the Gunners head to Old Trafford.

Alexandre Lacazette (£9.6m) is named as a substitute for the third match running as Unai Emery perseveres with a 3-4-2-1, while Jose Mourinho has dropped Romelu Lukaku (£10.7m) and Paul Pogba (£7.9m) to the bench as he matches the Gunners with a three-man backline.

Hazard is named in Chelsea’s starting XI along with Marcos Alonso (£7.1m) as the Blues head to Molineux, though there are five changes elsewhere in Maurizio Sarri’s starting XI.

Morgan Gibbs-White (£4.3m) replaces the suspended Ruben Neves (£5.0m) for Wolves, while Ryan Bennett (£4.2m) is recalled to Nuno Espirito Santo’s line-up.

Dele Alli (£8.9m) is among five players dropping out of Mauricio Pochettino’s starting XI for the visit of Southampton, with Kieran Trippier (£6.1m) fit to play at right-back.

Kane and Christian Eriksen (£9.2m) retain their starts after Sunday’s north London derby defeat.

Kelvin Davis has made four changes to the Saints side in what will be his only match in charge, with the south coast club reverting to a flat-back four.

Richarlison (£7.0m) is back on the left wing for Everton as Cenk Tosun (£6.6m) returns up front, with Rafael Benitez going ultra-defensive with a 5-4-1 at Goodison Park.

Jamie Vardy (£8.9m) is absent through injury as Leicester head to Craven Cottage, with Tom Cairney (£4.8m) dropping to the bench for the hosts.

Back to the fixture where we started this round-up, Sean Dyche has made five changes to his Burnley starting XI as James Tarkowski (£4.7m) returns in defence.

Burnley XI: Hart, Bardsley, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Gudmundsson, Cork, Westwood, Brady, Barnes, Wood.

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Gomez, Van Dijk, Matip, Moreno, Henderson, Milner, Keita, Shaqiri, Sturridge, Origi.

Everton XI: Pickford, Coleman, Zouma, Mina, Digne, Gueye, Gomes, Lookman, Sigurdsson, Richarlison, Tosun.

Newcastle United XI: Dubravka, Yedlin, Fernandez, Schar, Lascelles, Manquillo, Ki, Diame, Atsu, Rondon, Murphy.

Fulham XI: Rico, Christie, Odoi, Mawson, Le Marchand, Kamara, Chambers, Seri, Sessegnon, Vietto, Mitrovic.

Leicester City XI: Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan, Soyuncu, Chilwell, Mendy, Ndidi, Albrighton, Maddison, Diabete, Iheanacho.

Wolverhampton Wanderers XI: Rui Patricio, Bennett, Coady, Boly, Doherty, Moutinho, Saiss, Vinagre, Gibbs-White, Jota, Jimenez.

Chelsea XI: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Christensen, Alonso, Kante, Fabregas, Loftus-Cheek, Willian, Morata, Hazard.

Manchester United XI: De Gea, Dalot, Bailly, Rojo, Smalling, Darmian, Herrera, Matic, Lingard, Martial, Rashford.

Arsenal XI: Leno, Bellerin, Sokratis, Holding, Mustafi, Kolasinac, Guendouzi, Torreira, Ramsey, Iwobi, Aubameyang.

Tottenham Hotspur XI: Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Foyth, Rose, Dier, Winks, Eriksen, Son, Lucas, Kane.

Southampton XI: McCarthy, Cedric, Yoshida, Stephens, Targett, Hojbjerg, Davis, Redmond, Ward-Prowse, Armstrong, Gabbiadini.

      Cheers.

Yes I have money for Snodgrass as well, but already have Anderson.

Armstrong would be 5th midfielder anyway, so all good there.

      Thank you.

I'd need to get to 1st.
This season I'm playing a lot more casually and wouldn't have much to add for an interview. I don't really use the stats etc, just try and pick the best transfer/s for my team, without planning moves ahead. Lately a hit a GW seems the way to go for green arrows.

      1. Halmari Tea
        • 5 Years
        5 years, 3 months ago

KDB is likely back for this GW and with the influx of players that will buy him as he started nearly every game last year when fit and was the highest point scorer for them last year just getting on the bandwagon early.

My worry is Auba started last 2 games i doubt he will start his 3rd game in one week.

        1. Lallama
          • 5 Years
          5 years, 3 months ago

Doesn't mean he'll start playing 90's right from the beginning.

Even last time he came back he came on from the bench twice (and then got promptly injured again)

Don't think it's a wise choice to already bring him in.

*and sterling was their highest point scorer iirc

He is likely to be back , im on the bandwagon before the rest. Hell rise by 0.2 minimum the night he starts a game.

        1. noquarternt
          • 8 Years
          5 years, 3 months ago

Who told you he's back then? Won't get more than 10 mins if he's even ready. He'll bring him back slowly.

Don't think anyone is going to rush to get him considering Sterling, Sané, Kane and Auba are all higher on the list of desire.

0.2 is meaningless if it's preceded by a string of 1s and 0s before it...

But it's your team of course, so do as you please.

    0.0 in the bank
    A) Save transfer
    B) Ederson to Fabianski (Digne to Trippier/Laporte the next week)

The way I saw it last week was.. Ederson = Laporte since both have no goal threat and bap potential. And Digne( Diop + Awb covering tough fixtures) would out score Fabianski.. But I'm not so sure now

Man I chose a wrong gw to take a -8 🙁 4m+ gw rank..picking Auba over Kane sure cost me. Anyway..will Kolasinac keep his spot over Monreal when he's back. Been watching him last few weeks, could have had half a dozen assists over last 3 gws alone. Any arsenal fans care to shed a light here?

    1. noquarternt

It's hard to know, but with the wingback system, Monreal works well as the left sided CB.

So could easily keep his spot if this formation continues. If they go to a back 4, can see him dropping out as Monreal is the better all round player.

          Yeah.
          I love United
But we are laughing stock right now. If pool thump us i think mou will have to go.
He has clearly lost his team. De gea making mistakes is disgusting limit lowering the levels of teams performance.

We were so good last night without Pogba and lukaku. And if we continue playing in this system , we will get results

Also , dalot what a player he is . I could not believe that we were crossing those tasty Crosses from the right !!!

            Next fixtures are quite important

            Fulham H
            Cl
            Pool a
            Cardiff a
            Huddersfield h
            Bournemouth h

I expect us to win atleast 4 of the 5 PL matches.

Pool will be a tough one, but we have been good against big teams this season other than city

Have to ditch Salah to fund Arnie to Laca so which one for a hit?

    a) Salah to FAnderson
    b) Salah to Sterl.

    Have Sane also.
    Thanks guys.

F.Anderson for fixtures, Sterling for form. Maybe Anderson, Sterlings form against the top 6 isn’t that good and you have Sané

Thoughts here please? Had a great week this week but no obvious stand out captain choice for gw 16 apart from Kane. Planning Hazard to Mane depending on info about Mane. 0.7 itb.

    Fabianski

    VVD Laporte Doherty (WanB Peirera)

    Fraser Hazard Sterling Kenedy

    Kane Wilson Jiminez

Defence needs upgrading so considering holding Hazard and adjusting that either. Thanks in advance

I think I'm going for Lucas Perez, anyone else?

Think Chicharito is more in favour if they only play with one up front? Or will they play two? Or will Perez be on the wing?

Letting all his new owners down.

      Blank v Huddersfield be interesting

His fixtures are that good that he’s pretty much guaranteed points in the medium term though, just a question of which GW/s they come in
