Wilson injured and Alexander-Arnold benched for Gameweek 16 opener

Callum Wilson (£7.0m) has been left out of Bournemouth’s starting XI as Liverpool come to the Vitaliy Stadium for the lunch-time kick-off.

The striker has picked up an injury that was not revealed by Eddie Howe in his most recent press conference.

It is a big story for the Fantasy community as Wilson was looked at as a replacement for the recently injured Marko Arnautovic (£7.0m).

Meanwhile, Junior Stanislas (£6.0m) comes in for Wilson and it’s currently unclear whether it’s him or David Brooks (£5.2m) up front alongside Josh King (£6.3m).

Equally, there was Fantasy disappointment in the Liverpool camp with Trent Alexander-Arnold (£5.4m) benched. It is currently unclear whether it’s Fabinho (£5.5m) or James Milner (£5.6m) is playing at right-back.

Xherdan Shaqiri (£7.0m) keeps his place in the team and looks to be joining Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) and Roberto Firmino (£9.2m) in the front three.

      I didn't have haz for his haul and I didn't have kun captain for his haul and my rank is still good. It's bad for non owners yes. But there is still enough time to come back.

    The way to look at that Salah haul from the perspective of a non-owner is to realise that owners are missing at least one of Auba, Kane or Sterling. If any of those haul, your rank will look more healthy again.

    Reality is you can't have all the best players. If you want the max points you need Alonso, Robertson, Salah, Hazard, Sterling, Kane, Aguero and Aubameyang. Can someone show me a team within budget that has all of those?

      I could get that quite comfortably, all except for Sterling though ... would need end up with a 5.5 - 6.5 mid instead of him and still get a decent bench

    Frankly speaking.. looking at the stats, Salah hatty should not be a surprise.. He was due, just that he was quite unlucky at times.

      Salah wasn't playing so great to be honest, so yes it is a massive surprise that he scores a hattrick away to b mouth who are a decent team . Of course, referee gifting Salah the opener doesn't help

    You simply can't have them all. We're always going to get the muppets who claim every haul was obvious and inevitable.

    You simply can only own 50% of those capable of the points Salah reached today. Enjoy the huge hauls when they do arrive. Plenty more rotation and huge hauls to come over this Christmas period

      Agree...and the trick will be to not chase points and knee jerk him back in. Stick to the plan long term as his fixtures are still average for several GW's.

          Let's say Kane or Aubameyang get 12. You are only loosing out on 18 points. If a canny differential score well then you can reduce that figure easily

      I feel Ur pain. I sold Salah 2 weeks ago to get Mane and city cover in sane, and then Mane gets injured and Salah hauls. If both are fit, I think Salah not worth 3 m than mane
