Aguero and Sané start for Man City as Sterling benched

Fantasy managers who put faith in Sergio Aguero (£11.4m) could be in for one of their most memorable Gameweeks.

The Manchester City forward has defied ‘Pep Roulette’ to start both matches of Double Gameweek 25, named on the team sheet to face Everton on Wednesday night.

The start comes after scoring 17 points in Sunday afternoon’s 3-1 win over Arsenal, in which Aguero scored a hat-trick.

Once again, we should expect a great divide between managers, depending which Manchester City options they backed.

Leroy Sané (£9.8m) comes back into the side after remaining an unused substitute at the weekend, but Raheem Sterling (£11.3m) travels in the opposite direction.

Kevin de Bruyne (£9.7m) is also named among the subsitutes.

Anyone invested in Aymeric Laporte (£5.9m) will be encouraged to know that he has been deployed at left-back.

However, Pep Guardiola is not the only Premier League manager wreaking havoc with Fantasy teams, as Everton have also rotated for this fixture.

The Toffees two most popular Fantasy midfielders Richarlison (£6.8m) and Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.4m) both find themselves on the bench as Marco Silva goes for a 4-3-3 system.

Everton XI: Pickford; Digne, Zouma, Keane, Kenny; Davies, Gueye, A Gomes; Bernard, Calvert-Lewin, Walcott.

Man City XI: Ederson; Laporte, Otamendi, Stones, Walker; D Silva, Gundogan, Fernandinho; Sané, Aguero, B Silva.

      I have no opinion on Laporte vs. David Luiz, but as a Kolasinac owner I'm a bit worried about whether he's nailed or not.

          I agree Kolasinac is ideal if he keeps playing. But Emery played Monreal at left-back last game, with Kolasinac (playing as a winger) replaced by new signing Denis Suarez at the 68' mark.

          Worst-case scenario for us owners, Emery prefers Monreal as the regular left-back and starts with Suarez as the attacking left mid.

      I think he will but not for Sane. Sane hasnt been good but makes more sense to give one of the Silvas a rest. Sane unlikely to play against Chelsea.

    Im not angry that I didnt do Auba to Kun...

    but choosing to get Llorente over Laporte...well thats another story :/

    Most lads here were thinking like me that Llorente is the better choice... oh well i guess

    It is funny the way things even out- I was gutted to have Dignes sub appearance and sending off but it effectively pushed me to take him out for a 4 point hit and bring in Laporte. Funny old game...

        They’ve definitely far exceeded the pre-match sentiment thus far, pretty unlucky to be going in a goal down

        Gomes & Gueye have coped pretty well, Zouma has been good too, and Sané hasn’t gotten much change out of Kenny yet...

        All very unexpected... but plenty of time for that to change of course

    Having bigger fires to put out when city def was shipping goals has proved a huge stroke of luck as Laporte was always close to the chopping block but never quite made it.

    Laporte looks essential if he keeps playing LB. Great threat on set pieces, and will be putting in crosses whenever Pep decides width isnt important and benches Sane. 5.9m

        Hes better than Mendy tbh. Mendy is Alonsoesque, just good from an FPL point of view but a limited player, especially defensively.

          I have both, I dunno. I'm just saying that Sterling getting 10 points isn't bad. Sure I guess everyone has extenuating circumstances, but I think getting two marks in a double gameweek is something we should be happy with?
