Aguero and Sané start for Man City as Sterling benched

Fantasy managers who put faith in Sergio Aguero (£11.4m) could be in for one of their most memorable Gameweeks.

The Manchester City forward has defied ‘Pep Roulette’ to start both matches of Double Gameweek 25, named on the team sheet to face Everton on Wednesday night.

The start comes after scoring 17 points in Sunday afternoon’s 3-1 win over Arsenal, in which Aguero scored a hat-trick.

Once again, we should expect a great divide between managers, depending which Manchester City options they backed.

Leroy Sané (£9.8m) comes back into the side after remaining an unused substitute at the weekend, but Raheem Sterling (£11.3m) travels in the opposite direction.

Kevin de Bruyne (£9.7m) is also named among the subsitutes.

Anyone invested in Aymeric Laporte (£5.9m) will be encouraged to know that he has been deployed at left-back.

However, Pep Guardiola is not the only Premier League manager wreaking havoc with Fantasy teams, as Everton have also rotated for this fixture.

The Toffees two most popular Fantasy midfielders Richarlison (£6.8m) and Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.4m) both find themselves on the bench as Marco Silva goes for a 4-3-3 system.

                  There are a lot of Wolves choices. Doubling on defenders who don't get clean sheets seems a waste. The likes of Bednarek gives you another team choice. Peltier would be my choice for low cost but I would probably spend a bit more.

                    Who could i get for 4.4 or below? Only Mariappa and Peltier seem ok.
                    Think i'm needlessly limiting my choices and should just get Auba this week and a good def (AWB or TAA for Digne)
                    Even tho Digne clearly has an easier match than Laporte

    To the stats nerds out there, do you view recent xG and xA data (last 4 - 6 matches) as a good predictor of future expected points?

    It has to be adjusted for fixtures but I like it as an indicator of players to look out for

      Yes. For example Hazard before dgw25 had great stats in comparison to Sterling/Sane against Newcastle (shots on target, key chances etc) which persuade me in keeping Hazard and not getting Sane

        I could but Aguero will score against anyone. I'm not sold on Arsenal away at HUD. Son vs Leicester could be a more sensible option but then again Aguero could be rotated. But they are now pushing for the title lol so many factors

    I’m lost in the doubles...

    Holding wildcard, FH and BB. Can see the likelihood of the schedule of blanks and doubles but struggling to see what the optimum use of chips would be between gameweeks 30-35.

    Got plenty of coverage for blank he 27.

    But should I be bringing players who have a fixture gw31 or not?

    Any help appreciated.

    GW 25 was my WORST GW rank of the season at 5.2 Mil! 46 points and rank doubled from 65k to 127k. Surely no one had a worse GW than me ?

        Because E) option was not enough?

        Im looking at Aguero/Sane -> Auba/Son myself, not for a hit though.

        Think i would go for B. But its close, i have not taken a single hit this season, so might just be me.
