Aguero and Sané start for Man City as Sterling benched

Fantasy managers who put faith in Sergio Aguero (£11.4m) could be in for one of their most memorable Gameweeks.

The Manchester City forward has defied ‘Pep Roulette’ to start both matches of Double Gameweek 25, named on the team sheet to face Everton on Wednesday night.

The start comes after scoring 17 points in Sunday afternoon’s 3-1 win over Arsenal, in which Aguero scored a hat-trick.

Once again, we should expect a great divide between managers, depending which Manchester City options they backed.

Leroy Sané (£9.8m) comes back into the side after remaining an unused substitute at the weekend, but Raheem Sterling (£11.3m) travels in the opposite direction.

Kevin de Bruyne (£9.7m) is also named among the subsitutes.

Anyone invested in Aymeric Laporte (£5.9m) will be encouraged to know that he has been deployed at left-back.

However, Pep Guardiola is not the only Premier League manager wreaking havoc with Fantasy teams, as Everton have also rotated for this fixture.

The Toffees two most popular Fantasy midfielders Richarlison (£6.8m) and Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.4m) both find themselves on the bench as Marco Silva goes for a 4-3-3 system.

    Help needed lads!
    Need to ditch 4 out of those 7 in order to have 11 players in GW27!
    Sterling, Sane, Alonso, Richarlison, Pickford, Ings*, Kamara...

    Which one is the best option in your opinion?

    A) Sterling, Sane, and Ings to Son, Suarez/Almiron, and Aubameyang for -8
    B) Sterling, Sane, and Kamara to Son, Mane, and Jimenez for -8
    C) Sterling, Richarlison, and Alonso to Son, Mane, and Doherty for -8
    D) Sane, Richarlison, and Alonso to Son, Mane, and Bennett for -8

    Next week, I will most likely switch Pickford for any other keeper for free.

        I think I'll want Auba for GW27 and most probably have to use Sterling as a makeweight for that. On the other hand both Auba and Son in for a hit this week doesn't make sense I think.

      It happens. Some people just get bad luck sometimes in FPL. His record is still unbelievable and I would still trust his opinion highly.

          I agree with you. Personally I don’t think there is perfect way of going about it. It will depend on everyone’s teams. I just want to make the most of my wildcard & Free Hit chips. I haven’t given it much thought yet I think after the FA Cup round next week we’ll have a much clearer picture of what it’s looking like.

      He hasn't lost it long-term, but given his record against the bigger teams, could see him missing out vs. Chelsea.
