FFS Cup competitions reach final weekend

We have reached the final weekend of the Fantasy Football Scout cup competitions.

After the semi-finals took place in the divisive Double Gameweek 25, we are down to just two contests in the public and Members tournaments.

Public FFS Cup

Very fine margins could determine the next winner of the public FFS Cup.

Going into Gameweek 26 there are six players present in the squads of both finalists Get It Inter Ya (981) and Man-Chest-Heir F.C (124,414).

They are Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£4.5m), Leroy Sané (£9.7m), Paul Pogba (£8.7m), Mohamed Salah (£13.6m), Raúl Jiménez (£6.7m) and Marcus Rashford (£7.8m).

But interestingly, there is further overlap in their defensive coverages.

The tie’s favourite Get It Inter Ya has Matt Doherty (£5.3m) and Virgil van Dijk (£6.5m) while his opponent is in possession of Andrew Robertson (£6.8m) and Ryan Bennett (£4.1m).

Both managers may have to make a call on Sané after his disappointing Double Gameweek 25 performance, while Get It Inter Ya may also want to factor in his Chelsea double-up into his transfers.

Neither one of David Luiz (£5.9m) or Eden Hazard (£10.9m) will play in Blank Gameweek 27 after their difficult trip to Manchester City this weekend.

No transfers have been made by either finalist at this stage.

FFS Members Cup

There are plenty of interesting battles all over the pitch to be fought between FFS Members Cup finalists Jay # (59,782) and Jambo17 (99).

The pair took slightly different approaches to Double Gameweek 25, with the former covering it with a double-up of Sané and Raheem Sterling (£11.3m).

However, his opponent Jambo17 did not have the disappointment of owning the German international, Triple Captaining Sterling as well as owning Aymeric Laporte (£5.9m) and Sergio Aguero (£11.4m).

Jay # will likely look to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.2m) as his answer to facing Aguero, although his opponent does have the possession of Pogba over him, who faces a plum away tie at Fulham.

      Impossible to know, but I would be extremely surprised if Sterling was benched. Pep normally plays him in the big matches.

      Contemplating it and think i will end up doing it. Have a little fear that Aguero's form continues, and Auba illness messes him up. Especially as City are home and Arsenal struggle away. But surely Arsenal has to get an away win sometime...this could be it. Plus i kinda rate Chelsea, don't see them getting smashed too badly. Then the blank next week for Kun regardless..

                I’d fivSterling this week and Kun next and carry the FT.

                I suspect an extra FT Is going to be valuable once the blanks doubles are announced.

                The only reason to do Auba now is if you want to captain him or if you think he’ll outscore Kun by 2 (the value of an extra FT).

    Really scratching my head in terms of how to use my second FT. I want to play ultra aggressive and was set on Bobby to Auba. But pool have Wijna TAA and Hendo back. PRimed to destroy BOU. Auba was sick and Arsenal are poor away. Kun i'm leaning towards holding post the blank as i think he could potentially be a great differential.

        I agree it is a risk but: best case was that he was removed on 59 after a rest because of a tactical swap after an illness. Pep is all about trust and I think he's lost it a bit with Leroy of late.

        I don't see the logic in saying he 'defo' will start. It's obviously not true - he 'might' start, but he didn't start the last big game against an Arsenal side without a decent right back. He was poor in mid-week and was subbed before the hour mark. I'd say he is more likely to start on the bench.

        I have TAA as well and I am a little worried he will get some 'back to fitness minutes' in the last 25 or so. If I knew he was starting I would bench AWB (Wham looked good vs 'pool) and Digne (not too much of a case against him, I just think the other options have better fixtures and WAT can turn it on)

            It wasn’t a wind up. Was basically saying “be patient with sane” if you can. Otherwise it just makes a situation worse imo. Chelsea is a good game to keep
