Jota returns for Wolves as Newcastle visit Molineux

Wolves attacker Diogo Jota (£6.0m) is back in the side named to face Newcastle in the conclusion to Gameweek 26.

The Portuguese was taken off with a knock in the recent 3-1 win at Everton and missed out on FA Cup action as a precaution.

Jota comes back into the team selected by Nuno Espirito Santo tonight, operating at centre-forward next to the in-form Raúl Jiménez (£6.8m).

The Mexican has averaged 8.7 points per game in his last three outings and is the most captained player for Monday night’s game.

61,000+ Fantasy managers have handed Jiménez the armband.

Elsewhere, it’s as expected for Wolves with the usual back-three of Willy Boly (£4.6m), Conor Coady (£4.5m) and Ryan Bennett (£4.1m) flanked by Jonny (£4.3m) and Matt Doherty (£5.4m).

Joao Moutinho (£5.3m) sits in central midfield with five assists in his last three matches and his involvement in set pieces could prove fruitful tonight.

No team has conceded more chances from dead ball situations in the last four Gameweeks than Newcastle.

The Magpies look to be lining up in 4-4-2 formation tonight, which would make a change from the 5-4-1 used by Rafa Benitez recently.

Salomón Rondón (£5.7m) and Ayoze Pérez (£6.1m) lead the line hoping to improve on a recent tally of two goals in four away matches for Newcastle.

Their options will prove differentials tonight with no Magpies player owned by more than 4%.

New signing Miguel Almirón (£6.0m) starts on the bench.

Wolves XI (3-5-2): Patrício; Boly, Cody, Bennett; Jonny, Neves, Moutinho, Dendoncker, Doherty; Jota, Jiménez.

Newcastle United XI (4-4-2): Dubravka; Lejeune, Lascelles, Schär, Yedlin; Atsu, Longstaff, Hayden, Ritchie; Pérez, Rondón.

If I owned him yes. But for me would mean a -4 to lose Firminho, seems a waste of points in a blank game week.
9 points v Fulham at home, very achievable by other players.

    Each is a -4:
    1) Kamara, Hazard > Aubameyang, Moutinho
    2) Kam, Siggy > Rondon, Fanderson
    3) Kam, Luiz > Rondon, Kola
    4) Haz, Luiz > Mane, Pereira
    5) Other?

Current team: Fab, Button // Luiz, Robbo, Doh, AWB, Bednarek
Salah, Pogba, Hazard, Son, Siggy // Rash, Jim, Kamara

Yep just shows how little we really know. Just a bunch of point chasers really!

      Is Pereira a better option?

Hypothetically, if I make 3 transfers for a -4 and then use my free hit chip, at the start of the next GW will my team be what it was in the gameweek prior to free hit usage or will my squad include the 3 players I brought in for a -4 still?

      Ummm, no.
May as well take a -16, free hit and no points lost?

Apologies my wording was fairly awful. So I brought in Bennett, Sonny and Yedlin for a -4, if I am now to use the free hit when the coming GW is over the 3 of them won't have been brought in?

Of course not. GW26 team comes back for GW28.

and any idea whether I'll incur the -4? Also would you advise I save the free hit or go for it? Luiz, Rich and Stones out for Yedlin, Sonny and Bennett maybe only short-term sensible

Would I still take the -4 if I use free hit?

No, that's why it's called a free hit.
You'll be stuck with Luiz, Rich and Stones in GW28

Your team will be what it was the last gameweek. You won't get the newly transferred players in your team, and I think you still get the -4. Not a 100% sure on the last part, but you for sure don't get the new players.

thank you very much! Just debating it, brought in yedlin, bennett and sonny for richarlison, Luiz and Stones, just not sure they are sensible choices long term, is free hit worth saving for anything?

Save it for the harder GWs.

step ahead of me once again! Just considering that my team have relatively tough fixtures and no obvious captain choice, I still have triple cap and bench boost
