Jota returns for Wolves as Newcastle visit Molineux

Wolves attacker Diogo Jota (£6.0m) is back in the side named to face Newcastle in the conclusion to Gameweek 26.

The Portuguese was taken off with a knock in the recent 3-1 win at Everton and missed out on FA Cup action as a precaution.

Jota comes back into the team selected by Nuno Espirito Santo tonight, operating at centre-forward next to the in-form Raúl Jiménez (£6.8m).

The Mexican has averaged 8.7 points per game in his last three outings and is the most captained player for Monday night’s game.

61,000+ Fantasy managers have handed Jiménez the armband.

Elsewhere, it’s as expected for Wolves with the usual back-three of Willy Boly (£4.6m), Conor Coady (£4.5m) and Ryan Bennett (£4.1m) flanked by Jonny (£4.3m) and Matt Doherty (£5.4m).

Joao Moutinho (£5.3m) sits in central midfield with five assists in his last three matches and his involvement in set pieces could prove fruitful tonight.

No team has conceded more chances from dead ball situations in the last four Gameweeks than Newcastle.

The Magpies look to be lining up in 4-4-2 formation tonight, which would make a change from the 5-4-1 used by Rafa Benitez recently.

Salomón Rondón (£5.7m) and Ayoze Pérez (£6.1m) lead the line hoping to improve on a recent tally of two goals in four away matches for Newcastle.

Their options will prove differentials tonight with no Magpies player owned by more than 4%.

New signing Miguel Almirón (£6.0m) starts on the bench.

Wolves XI (3-5-2): Patrício; Boly, Cody, Bennett; Jonny, Neves, Moutinho, Dendoncker, Doherty; Jota, Jiménez.

Newcastle United XI (4-4-2): Dubravka; Lejeune, Lascelles, Schär, Yedlin; Atsu, Longstaff, Hayden, Ritchie; Pérez, Rondón.

Which Xfer for GW 27?. Plan is to upgrade any Xfer made below to Sterling in GW28
    A) Sane to Felipe
    B) Sane to Almirón ( a punt really)
    C) or any other recommended Xfer

Ouch. I'm sort of happy but it's getting a bit boring with everyone having the same 8-9 players.

Bring in Hazard, I'm sure he'll get you out of your loop.

Funnily enough I sold him before Hudds and he sent me down to 50k. His replacement Sterling got me back in the loop this week.

I'm similar to you mate, but been hovering between 25k and 40k. Tbf most would be stoked to have a decent rank like that, but understand you want to push on a bit.

Just comes down to differentials, or differential captaincies. When I was at 10k, I took a risk and dropped Salah for Kane around Xmas time. We all know how that ended.

I also had Kane over Salah in that period but loaded up on United straight away so it evened up.

I want to go for differential captains every week but if Salah goes big then he is a rank destroyer even if you own him. I did captain Sterling over Sane in the DGW but then I didn't have Haz/Aguero/Laporte so didn't really benefit from it.

Do you have all chips left? Is yes then top 10k shouldn't be a problem for either of us. Hopefully lots of casuals will fall off with the blanks/DGWs.

Yeah see I am only just recovering from the Xmas period, due to no Salah and didn't get Pogba until he was 8.5. Sometimes players are worth a hit to get in and I am gutted I didn't jump on at 7.9. Had Rash early tho.

I do have all the chips left, so am hoping like you, that it will be our trump card at the back end of the season. My main rival is 80 odd points up on me sitting at 1k, but has used WC and FH already. Effective execution of the chips will make or break for those in our boat, I feel.

Indeed. Lots of people are this high because they've used one or several chips. They'll hopefully get blown away when the chips come into play.

This could be a make or break week for me personally. Auba will be the runaway captaincy choice but I'm thinking of going without him and punt on someone else. Risky strategy but one that could work because he blows hot and cold sometimes.

Wow, is that a tiny green arrow I see? Not quite enough to get me back into the top 10k though.

Can't lie I'm sorta pissed that I chose Puncheon over Hayden. Noob error not looking hard enough into midfield fodder.
