Arnautovic and Lanzini on bench for West Ham in Blank Gameweek 27 opener

The main Fantasy Premier League interest tonight is on West Ham as they prepare for a favourable home match with Fulham.

Felipe Anderson (£7.2m) will be the key asset, starting on the left flank of attacking midfield and lining up against the Cottagers weak right side.

However, there was frustration for those who had turned to Marko Arnautovic (£6.8m) as he was named on the bench, Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez (£6.1m) leading the attack in his place.

The Austrian now has just one start in the last five Gameweeks with no injury currently reported by manager Manuel Pellegrini.

Alongside Arnautovic on the West Ham bench is Manuel Lanzini (£6.4m), who has finally returned from the injury he sustained in pre-season.

Owned by 0%, the Argentinian could prove a powerful differential in the Blank Gameweeks if he can rediscover his form from last season.

Claudio Ranieri has opted for a four-man defence at the London Stadium with Joe Bryan (£4.8m) and Denis Odoi (£4.4m) flanking Tim Ream (£4.2m) and debutant Havard Nordtveit (£4.5m), who has been asked to drop into the back-line from midfield.

Meanwhile, Andre Schürrle (£5.5m) misses the trip to West Ham with a virus.

In Friday night’s other match, Sean Morrison (£4.7m) has returned to the heart of Cardiff’s defence.

That means Bruno Ecuélé Manga (£4.4m) shunts back along to right-back and pushes Joe Peltier (£3.9m) out of the match-day squad entirely.

Oumar Niasse (£5.0m) leads the line while Josh Murphy (£4.8m) and Callum Paterson (£5.0m) man the flanks.

There is still no return for Victor Camarasa (£4.6m) .

Adam Masina (£4.3m) comes in for the suspended Jose Holebas (£4.8m) while Ken Sema (£4.6m) drops to the bench to allow Roberto Pereyra (£6.1m) back into the side following injury.

Cardiff XI: Etheridge; Ecuele Manga, Morrison, Bamba, Bennett; Arter; Paterson, Bacuna, Ralls, Murphy; Niasse.

Watford XI: Foster; Janmaat, Mariappa, Cathcart, Masina; Doucouré, Capoue; Hughes, Pereyra; Deulofeu, Deeney.

West Ham XI: Fabianski; Cresswell, Ogbonna, Diop, Zabaleta; Rice, Noble; Anderson, Antonio, Snodgrass; Chicharito.

Fulham XI: Rico; Odoi, Nordtveit, Ream, Bryan; Chambers, Seri; Babel, Cairney, Sessegnon; Mitrovic.

Deloufeu has played Cardiff twice this season. He's accumulated a total of 4 goals and 2 assists. 36 points in two games.

What kind of garbage post is this? Richa has 1 attacking return in 8 games, this is poor advice.

Ok, think I’ve sussed it. How does this look guys? (-4)

    Etheridge - Shaw - Haz >>
    Boruc - TAA - Sterling

    Guaita - Boruc
TAA - Laporte - Perreira - Doherty (WB)
Salah - Sterling - Pogba - Son (Camarasa)
    Aguero - Rashford - Jiminez

      Haz plays 31 and 33

Laporte or shaw to TAA is good
Why the rush to bring in Boruc?
None of your front 3 play 31 and 33
      u FH 31?

        Thanks mate. Great comments!

My plan would be sterling to Mane or Haz for 31 or play FH. Then TC Aguero for dgw and play BB for next dgw.

Can then live with blanks on bench (fingers crossed!)

Dangerous when he came off the bench, no idea why Hernandez started over him.

Had a good header saved, a fingertip save pushing another shot onto the bar, then set up the 3rd goal with a nice chip.

Glad to have him in my team and not Felipe Anderson 🙂
