Almirón makes full debut for Newcastle in Gameweek 27

Newcastle United’s record signing Miguel Almirón (£6.0m) is set for his full Premier League debut this afternoon.

The Paraguayan international started his Magpies career off with a substitute’s appearance against Wolves in Gameweek 26 but is in the starting line-up to face Huddersfield.

Despite adding some much-needed pace to his side, Rafa Benitez continues with a back-five featuring Matt Ritchie (£5.8m) in a left wing-back role.

Jan Siewert’s Huddersfield side are led by Laurent Depoitre (£5.1m), while budget midfielder Jason Puncheon (£4.2m) starts on the right flank of attacking midfield.

Diogo Jota (£6.1m) owners will be happy to see him still in the Wolves starting XI after recent fitness issues.

Matt Doherty (£5.4m), who recently had a yellow flag of his own to contend with, is also in the starting line-up for Nuno Espirito Santo’s men.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth continue to struggle for injuries, with Dominic Solanke (£4.7m) handed his second start for the club up front.

Josh King (£6.4m) and Ryan Fraser (£6.1m) also start while there is a full Premier League debut at centre-back for Chris Mepham (£4.5m).

Bournemouth XI: Boruc; Clyne, Mepham, Aké, Smith; Ibe, Gosling, Lerma, Fraser; King; Solanke.

Wolves XI: Rui Patrício; Bennett, Coady, Boly; Doherty, Dendoncker, Rúben Neves, João Moutinho, Jonny; Jiménez, Diogo Jota.

Newcastle XI: Dubravka; Yedlin, Schär, Lascelles, Lejeune, Ritchie; Ayoze Pérez, Hayden, Longstaff, Almirón; Rondón.

Huddersfield XI: Lössl; Smith, Zanka, Schindler, Löwe; Mooy, Hogg, Bacuna; Kachunga, Depoitre, Puncheon.

Saints fan here, scared that we'll be going down. The quality of our side should keep us safe, but we can be so inept in defending at times ffs.

Auba owners, especially those with no City, what do you plan on doing next week?

Will see how the Arsenal game and the CHE-MCI games go, but kinda tempted to swap Auba for Kun, despite Auba having BOU...

Bou away from home are very different.
          Penalty likely.

Fair point, BOU are pretty bad away. But do you trust Auba enough, when Aguero has whu and then bou afterwards anyway?

I'm in the same situation, and thinking of doing the same move. Can't get any City mid into the team without hits, so it's Agüero or no Agüero.

Was thinking the same but maybe will end up sticking now. Will wait & see on tomorrow, also await news on Jesus and whether he's actually fit/an option for Pep midweek.

Most likely will swap to Kun next week. Will wait close to deadline though.

Lanzini in for 31/3 for Huddersfield at home? The move to beat those who went FA.

Bournemouth have Burnley and Newcastle and I’m not seeing a goal fest. I had been looking at Fraser or Brooks. Could still get one as well.

The transfer happens this week or next. I’m waiting on it.

am i being stupid or will this hit pay its self off in gw31 and gw33 when Heaton plays and Patricio blanks. been planing my team and unless i do a hit at some point ill probably go keeperless for at least 31, if not both

Leicester currently ahve players towards the top of the watchlist for GK, DEF, MID and FWD

Their FPL form sheet is on course to read L-L-D-L-L-L
