      I’m a glutton for punishment & have went for Felipe instead of Siggy, Rich, Maddo, Barnes, Lanzini etc

      I just can’t see past the HUD (H) on the fixture screen

      Big punt though, felipe has been dire for weeks upon weeks

      Huddersfield are the perfect tonic though, he has the class, if he can just find it again

    Those contemplating triple captain on Salah - what would you be happy with? 10? 15? I find it impossible that he doesn’t score at least one, and possibly more against that Fulham defence. If Mane is out it is even better for him. Shaq will set him up nicely whereas Mane is selfish and incapable of assisting

          Agreed. And I think this part is being overlooked. There is no reason for Salah not to play 90 mins or close vs Fulham with a gap to his next international fixture. But GW36 looks ripe for an early sub once they get in front.

        Any particular reason the Huddersfield fixture is such a big favourite over this one? Huddersfield will sit deep and at least try to frustrate, and sometimes they manage it. Fulham are just a leaky disaster zone that give the ball away constantly in their own half, succumb to pressure, look disorganised, will continue to attack once they concede, etc. Leicester showed how easily they open up. Salah getting 4 goals in this fixture would not even surprise me that much.

        For GW36, we don't even know if Liverpool will still be realistically in the title race. They might have blown it by then. Salah might get injured or rested for CL. There are a number of maybes floating around. But right now, this weekend, Salah is going to start against Fulham.

          Agree with this. Teams playing at Anfield set up to frustrate and the terriers could well play 6 at the back. I fancy Fulham to be far more open at Craven Cottage and try and play.

            Fulham have conceded 9 goals in their last 4 home games and those weren't against Liverpool. They also conceded 5 goals at home to Arsenal earlier in the season. And their recent defensive underlying stats are easily the worst in the league. So yeah, it could be an open game and they could get absolutely demolished. Also, once they go down 2-0, I don't believe they have the fortitude to hang in there for 90 minutes and earn some respectability. I think if it gets to 2 or 3 goals by 60 minutes, it gets to 4 or 5 goals full time. With Huddersfield I'm not as confident they wouldn't be able to do at least some sort of job at stifling the game.

              Fulham & Huddersfield are two shockingly bad outfits, they’ve also got some weird quirks in their stats

              Statistically, Fulham have the worst away defence in the league, conceding a quite frankly ridiculous 40 goals away this season

              Interestingly however, they are positively solid at home (compared to away), conceding only 28 at home.

              Huddersfield are similar in that they too are a shockingly bad defence, but different in that they concede more away from home (29) than at home (24)

              Neither of them should pose any difficulty for Salah & co.

          Two (minor) concerns are Salah’s recent lack of returns and Fulham possibly still getting a little bit of new manager bounce to perhaps stop them getting absolutely pummelled and maybe limiting it to 2 or 3

          Huddersfield away are also defensively worse than Fulham home (who are still shocking), and there’s an extra days recovery between Cardiff/Huddersfield vs. Bayern/Fulham

          Liverpool in the title race needing goals and goal difference at home to Huddersfield on Friday night lights is TC for me

      For me if I do it, I'll be going into the game hoping for 1 goal, 1 assist and some bonus points as a minimum. 12 points or more. 8-10 would be underwhelming. 15-plus would be fantastic and job done.

      This is what makes it such a hard decision. I truly believe Salah is going to score. But is he going to score A LOT?

      I TC’d him against Fulham last time out expecting a big haul, only got the 8 points. I think below 8 is poor, 8-12 is decent and anything above that is good.

          My point is if a defence doubles up on someone there are going to be gaps elsewhere. If Mane is playing there is less chance they double up on Mo because of the form Mane is in.

        I have a pretty decent team value. That money won't give me any points. Also have Salah to free up funds with the FH team in GW 32. With Lukaku on form I think Rashford has lost a lot of value as well as a fantasy prospect..

      If you can’t field 11 Sterling to a 4.5m 2 point merchant for a -4 would probably make sense, let alone to Haz - it pays for itself in GW31 & GW33

      If you end up 0.1 short of your FH or WC dream team there are always plenty of other options who can deputise
