Fixtures

Which FPL players are on international duty ahead of Double Gameweek 32?

A week of international fixtures gets underway today, with Germany and Wales among the countries in action this evening.

This is the final international break of 2018/19 and falls before the biggest Double Gameweek of the season, so there will be a nervy wait for Fantasy managers as we keep our fingers crossed for an injury-free seven days.

This article gives a club-by-club rundown on which assets will be away from their sides during this period, also detailing the dates in which these players will be competing for their respective countries.

There are several high-profile names missing from this list, of course.

Mohamed Salah (£13.3m) won’t be linking up with Egypt, while Aymeric Laporte (£5.9m) and Sergio Aguero (£11.8m) will not be representing their respective countries either.

Alexandre Lacazette (£9.4m) was omitted from the France national squad, while Gonzalo Higuain (£9.6m), like Aguero, wasn’t selected by Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni.

Marcos Alonso (£6.4m), Cesar Azpilicueta (£6.3m) and Jonny (£4.3m) won’t feature for Spain, meanwhile.

There are a cluster of players whose countries are scheduled to be in action in the early hours of Wednesday March 27 who then face a long-haul flight back from the Americas: Tim Ream (£4.2m), Antonio Valencia (£6.4m), DeAndre Yedlin (£4.5m), Miguel Almiron (£6.0m), Fabian Balbuena (£4.2m), Javier Hernandez (£6.1m) and Raul Jimenez (£6.8m).

It may be, however, that some of those players have been the subject of agreements between club and country to return to the UK before their respective nations’ second fixture over the international break, as has been the case before.

The good news for owners of Argentina and Brazil assets is that those two countries aren’t playing their two international friendlies in South America, although Argentina travel to Morocco on Tuesday.

Sadio Mane (£10.0m) is amongst the popular Fantasy options in action in Africa on Tuesday, while Son Heung-min (£8.6m) will be heading over to Asia for a double-header with South Korea – the second fixture being contested on Tuesday morning (UK time).

      yes, because I like planning:

      WC34, 3 DGW players:
      Ryan
      Kolasinac Duffy Doherty
      Mane Pogba Son Sterling Gross
      Kane (C) Lacazette
      Gunn Valery Cathcart Deeney

I also like planning (I know it'll probably be a very different team once I actually pick it, but I still enjoy looking at options).

My problem so far has been the three Brighton players for the good fixtures in 34, but I'm not sure I want any of them in 37/38.

just use them for their DGWs 34 and 35, maybe in 36 as well...then transfer 1 out and put rest on bench, they're cheap enough.

Maybe I even do Gross > Deulofeu in DGW35. But yeah, still way too far ahead 🙂

    2) Kepa - Luiz Schlupp Smalling - Dilva- Zaha Rashford. Play 3-4-3
    3) Ederson - Luiz Duffy schlupp awb - Jimenez KANE. Play 4-3-3

Like 3 if you can get Rashford in ahead of Jimenez and also if you could stretch from Luiz to Azpi.

0.1 in a budget unfortunately so can't stretch to Rashford

    Early thoughts :

    A) Foster
    AWB Valery Boly
    Haz Pogba Sterling Delu
    Aguero Higuain Lukaku

    B) Foster
    Luiz Lindelof AWB
    Haz Sterling Son Mili
    Jiminez Aguero Lukaku

I'd be concerned about the game time of Boly, Delu, and Jimenez.
I also don't rate Higuain either.
...assume you know Valery doesn't have a DGW, and this is just a budget pick.

        A) Foster, Azpi, and Deulofeu (352)
        B) Kepa, Lindelof, and Deulofeu (352)
        C) Foster, Azpi, and Lindelof (442)

Which option would you rather pick lads?

Stats tell that Kun is more likely to start both games than Sterling. But now that Jesus is fit again and mahrez and sane performing really poor, who do you think has more chance of starting both games in GW32?

FH32 ThinK 5-3-2 it is, No standout 4th mid possiblty.
think kane will be the main differential, feel he will outscore Rach/Kaku/Jimenez/Zaha/Batshyai the lot

          Ryan
          Azpi - Luiz - Shaw/Lind - Schullup - Laporte
          Haz - Pog - DSilva
          Kane - Ku(n)

Rather than have low quality players to fill starting 11

Potentially two cheslea clean sheets. Man I, one for Brighton plus save points and Schulup and attacking returns

Rather than having a dead 4th mid. Milli reliant on pens. Delfaou, etc minutes not guaranteed.

Upfront other i mention not really enticing. Only kaku maybe.
