      No.
      He can't justify his price

I'm going to get him (gut feeling may be)
Also Crystal palace without sakho are looking shaky at the back + new stadium + he might score vs liverpool too (doubt it myself)... Don't fancy any attacking options other than haz raz kun pog.

He likes end of season, is possibly one of the highest ceiling players in the game, will play both, on penalties, scored in four of his last five & most importantly. On FH he destroys your team unless you have a high TV as a differential.

Currently yes, due to lack of better alternatives.

Lukaku & Rashford both injured, Higuain out of form.

I'd punt on Zaha, Michy or Deeney not Kane.
        Specially Zaha if fully fit.

I've got him and I won't be captaining him so not sure that's a valid arguement to not bring him in?

It’s not the first time I’ve seen that. Think because of his price, people think he should be a captain pick. I’ve got him, not many players in the game that can haul, a big differential that doesn’t particularly weaken the free hit team

This is always a weird argument. If you think he'll score 25 but someone else will score 30, then Kane (VC) is still worth it.

And the fact it's a one week FH team seems to be forgotten. The not captaining him thing should be a factor if he's being considered in your team proper.

      Absolutely- he’s consistent

I can fit him in with a 442 quite easily. The only “compromise” is someone like Tomkins/AWB instead of a more premium defender.

But then going with someone like Jiminez over Kane is also a compromise.

      1. McEwan
        • 14 Years
        5 years, 1 month ago

It’s a nice compromise to have. I can only see a maximum of 3/4 premium defenders required as the remaining spots from that teams are needed further forward. I am confident he will be a really useful pick this gw

I’m risking it going Kane instead of Hazard. Feel i need Sterling and Kun and Haz has let me down so often this season. Kane has a good record v Liverpool and will be desperate to score in the new stadium v Palace.

If you think he’s going to mega haul vs. Liverpool & Palace - then you absolutely need him in your team

If you don’t, then steer clear

Anything less than 20 points from him in those 2 games & it won’t have been a very successful punt imo

And if 1 or 2 of Rashford, Bats, Zaha, Jiminez etc get within 10 points of him it won’t have been a very successful punt... and considering it’s a FH week you could lump the likes of Pogba, Jota, Dilva, Mili, Deulofeu in there as competition also

That’s nearly 10 alternatives who have as good a chance of scoring points as him this week... before you even get to Sterling, Kun & Haz’s fixtures...

      1. FPL Pillars
        • 7 Years
        5 years, 1 month ago

I do not think anyone is saying Kane is a better pick then Sterling Aguero or Hazard. Kane is best of the rest and in FH you want he players who statistically you think have the best chance of a good return.

        1. Maximus Bonimus Pointimus
          • 14 Years
          5 years, 1 month ago

No (thankfully) no-one has said that he's a better pick than the other 3 big hitters, and ultimately the decision the OP requested opinion on comes down to personal thought process as I outlined above - that being - if you think Kane is going to mega haul vs. Liverpool & Palace - then you absolutely need him in your team

If you don’t, then steer clear

And at all times it's helpful to be fully aware of the many alternatives with varying blends of good/better fixtures, form and/or price tags

Yeah fixtures are as good as they get, we know what he is capable of albeit not quite happened at Chelsea just yet. I'm undecided on whether or not to include him in my FH team as like you, he has failed the eye test in recent weeks and I'm not convinced by Chelsea attack generally. I also think he may only play 1 or the 2 games. Good luck with what ever you decide.

I initially ignored him, but my current team has him in. Even though he’s been pretty average he’s scored three goals in the games vs Huddersfield and Fulham and their fixtures couldn’t be much better. He has the biggest ceiling for me out of all the other players not in my team (Zaha, Bats, Deeney, Jimi, Bilva, Son, deleufeu) that I might have put in ahead of him. I’ve then essentially gone Mili as my fourth midfielder and Palace representation - 5 double digit hauls this season, when he does score he seems to get 3 bonus points

Kane - fixtures ain’t great imo. Palace will clam up and hit on the break and Liverpool best defence.

    Lukaku - not 100%

    Rashford - not 100%

I’m really starting to consider Higuaín even if he gets 1 full game and 1 off the bench.

If Lukaku or Rashford confirmed 100% will most likely go there.

    Any thoughts??

Yes, it is a bit of a risk.
Worst case he gets injured vs Pool and misses out on the easier fixture.
But with Kane you never know. He might score a hattrick vs Pool and then blank against Palace 🙂

Kane : He likes end of season, is possibly one of the highest ceiling players in the game, will play both, on penalties, scored in four of his last five & most importantly. On FH he destroys your team unless you have a high TV as a differential. 🙂

I agree with you here. I wish the place game was at Wembley it would put me off more.
I feel Higuain gamble might just pay off. Surly he gets a goal or 2 with those fixtures with the rest of your team better with the money saved.

How to improve this FH team? 0.3 itb. Doherty, Deulofeu and Jimenez are still in for now as they have some value tied.

    Aguero or Sterling?

I would say Aguero (though it’s close!) on the basis that he’s fully rested up over the international break whereas Sterling has played.

He could but I think it'll be the Spurs one if any.

Thing is Palace have 3 games in 8 days. The most likely area of rotation is probably central mid - where he generally features.

I’d expect Kouyate - who was great against Burnley- to get at least one game. Mc is more likely to be rotated out but Schlupp isn’t a cert for 3 starts in the way Mili is.

Looking at the Members stats, Duffy(4.7) and Schlupp(4.5) seem excellent enablers. Both have amazing attacking stats, in decent teams and one sensational home fixture.

Much prefer them over any midpriced or budget mids/forwards.

    1. Karan14
      • 8 Years
      5 years, 1 month ago

Yup both look good options although Milivojevic or Zaha could easily outscore them.

But yes they do look better options then Deulofeu/Jota who could be rotation risks.

But Mili isn't a reliable point scorer, nor is Zaha fully fit.. I'd rather get nailed attacking defenders for significantly less cash.

        1. Karan14
          • 8 Years
          5 years, 1 month ago

For me it's a case of fitting 2 players alongside 3x Chelsea, United & City.
I like both defenders and Mili/Zaha for those 2 spots.

But I don't think Duffy is a better option than Zaha.

Mili is suprisingly high in PPG and overall score. He’s very capable.. one penalty in 2 games and you’re looking at double figures for the GW

      I’d go Sterling

There’s a huge upside given that most will captain Kun. 3x Sterling could be massive whereas one extra Kun might just be marginal.

A gamble of course but that’s how I’d prefer to play TC - look for the biggest possible gain

Sterling is a mega differential in my ML since no one else has him though, I am expecting FH's to be used my them
Im expecting Aguero aswell due to his rest, my only concern with Sterling is the First of two game which is 5 days after the Eng-mont game
the 70 mins against the Czechs was brilliant both for his hattie and less mins but if he starts again and then taking into account its an away fixture makes it seem likely he might be a doubt for the Fulham game
But Sod it Sterl it is

    A) Laporte, Schlupp, Camarasa, and Kane
    B) Azpi, Lindelof, Dilva, and Rashford

Do you guys think that Kane (option B) is worth the other downgrades?

    1. tburgess12

I think Rashford is borderline essential if he's fit

    2. Jekori

I think B has a higher ceiling but it's more risky too. Rashford struggling with injury, Lindelof's wife is due to give birth in early april. Camarasa should finally have shaken off his niggling injury.
