How FFScout users are preparing for Double Gameweek 32

Fantasy Football Scout users have submitted an excellent set of polls to help our preparation for Double Gameweek 32.

The questions range from chip strategy to how much we should trust Manchester City and Chelsea with their fixtures.

Not surprisingly, the most requested poll centred around which of the chips is best to play in this expanded round of fixtures.

Forever in Our Shadow, Trippier Hazard, Sebes Gusztav, Nimith Enzo, Ohlsay, Nat Kane Cole and PEP_TALK all wanted to know about this one.

Jimmy Hendrix and de quiney were both keen to challenge the thinking on Free Hitting in Double Gameweek 32, suggesting Blank Gameweek 33 as an alternative option.

We had a poll from Studsy25 who wanted to know the best way of preparing for Double Gameweek 32 for those without the Free Hit or Wildcard chips.

Another hugely popular question concerned the best way to capitalise on Manchester City’s two matches, against Fulham (away) and Cardiff (home).

DMil, BBC_TF, Toblerone52, Fossit, Karsa, LosBlancos, PEP_TALK and Masteryeoda all submitted some great polls on this subject, so we combined them into one.

Given their unpredictable nature in recent times, Scout users want to know what the consensus is on Chelsea, especially their defence.

This poll came in from Beercalona, Tomthewise1, Podorsky, The Beer Baron and Dusan Citizen.

Another popular poll concerns to what extent we even trust the Double Gameweek itself.

Forever in our Shadow, BKrisztian, Leakyman and Pamino all wanted to know how many single Gameweek players would be present in our squads for Double Gameweek 32.

BenjoBD takes that question one step further to identify how many Liverpool players will be present in our Double Gameweek 32 squads.

Of those who have two matches, it does look difficult to cram all of the premium heavy hitters in.

For that reason, Saint & Reevesy, AdAdityan and FFSBullets want to know which of those we are most likely to leave out.

Finally, Diverpool wants to know to what extent Scout users are worried about rotation ahead of the FA Cup semi-finals.

Manchester City, Brighton, Watford and Wolves will be participating in the competition’s last four stages several days after their midweek Double Gameweek 32.

      Silly to go with Sane IMO. I'd take the punt if there were good cheap defenders but there's really not so I think getting a City defender/GK is a must.

      Pretty good. People will warn you about Deu and Jimenez being rotated but we don't know that for sure so you could gain ground on those of us not willing to risk bringing them in.

    He's not an option I'm considering because I'm not afraid to double up on Che defence (kind of think it's madness not too really if you can afford it) but anyone thinking of Kante?

    I'm bringing him in in draft and think he's a decent shout.. could get an assist and likely to get 5 points anyway (assuming 1 CS) - think he's a better shout than Milli tbh if you aren't doubling up on Che defence.

      With that budget I'd probably just so for Camarasa and hope for a pen or an assist. Or even Neves. Even prefer the 4.5ish defenders and a change of formation to Kante.

        Camarasa baseline is 4 points and Warnock is too much of a tinkerer. Neves more prone to get rotated for cup (as has been a few times this season)

        Think Kante is one of the best options in the 4.5-6.5m bracket. And looking at the fplreview team planner site (a very accurate points prediction site based off bookies odds and xg/xA data), Kante has a prediction of 6.8. (RMT has him at 7.03) Deulofeu and Townsend are the only 2 in that price bracket above him at 7.22 and 7.09 respectively.

          Could be right. If I wasn't going for double Chelsea defence, I'd probably try and work Higuian in though. Or find the extra money for Pedro, who I expect to outscore him even if he only plays 90 + 30 minutes. Still, Kante does pop up with the odd attacking return, could easily happen in the next two games.

      Every time I squeeze Kane in, I realize I have to weaken TWO other spots. Son/Alli instead gives a lot more freedom, and that's if Spurs even make it to my final FH team

                B tbh. I'm debating whether my original team with a triple captain would beat my free hit team. I only have 5 doublers tho (kolasinac, vardy are up there with the better single week options tho). The way it's going I reckon I'd be better off not free hitting.

                As for your options on FH:

                Deulofeu good for 90 mins across the 2
                Luiz may get a benching (Christensen will play one)
                Pogba is an expensive Mili (with worse stats) - it's only the fear that sees him in every single RMT. He is nailed for 2 games, but if chasing it's a good opportunity to differentiate and hope his poor form continues
                Higuain has much better fixtures than Kane - if not captaining Kane he's not worth his value

                    I've got Sane in currently. Not because he scored a goal today, but think he might be fast tracked to play the easier games where City could rack up cricket scores. Fixtures get tougher soon so (based on recent weeks) should see fewer minutes.

                    I like Eriksen as a punt too. Feel he is about 0.5 over priced tho. I've already binned Pogba so no value tied up there.

                    Am sitting outside top 100k too. Feel that no Pogba is a calculated gamble - he won't be captained by many. Form hasn't been great. Yes, every single team has him but I reckon worse case scenario is you're 10 points down.

                      Yeah I can definitely see that. I'm using my TC on Aguero this week and need to get in another DGW mid and probably defender. Pogba seemed like the obvious choice, but Sane could be great as you point out. Pep is gonna rotate and these are 2 easy games, could see him playing both maybe with Mahrez or Bilva being used in the tougher ones.
