We continue our series of articles on the best Free Hit squad for Double Gameweek 32 by looking at the defenders.

Those that have been considered are players who have two fixtures in the upcoming round of action.

Data from the Fantasy Football Scout members area has been pivotal to our research to pick out options who not only have a chance of keeping clean sheets but also adding attacking returns too.

For that reason, Fantasy Football Scout members can now read on and assess the analysis for themselves.

Those without membership can still enjoy the weekend’s article on the best Double Gameweek 32 goalkeepers for free.

Now that we are past the half-way stage of the season, memberships are now available for just £10, so make sure you get the most of it while you can by signing up HERE.

from 90min.com (never heard of this website so take this with a pinch of salt)

"Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic were all forced to withdraw from international duty through injury, but they will all likely be available for the visit of Watford on Saturday. However, Lukaku may remain sidelined for a further week to avoid any risk of aggravating his foot injury."

Can see a sudden love for Higuain around these parts today.

Have tried building a team with him but he just doesn't fill me with any confidence.

3 goals in 7 games and 2 of the games were against the worst teams in the PL Fulham & Hud. Completed 90 mins on 4 occasions only.

Add the threat of rotation or early subs with Giroud lurking he just doesn't seem worth it.

I don't see how he doesn't match Kane, considering opposition, over next 2 games.

Dont believe Chelsea will score more than 3-4 goals in those 2 games total. Both opponents will lineup defensively and Chelsea are predictable. Only way Chelsea can have two easy wins with high score would be if Sarri made serious changes to formation or starting XI, which i honestly dont expect. Higuain will start both games, wont play 90 mins in any of the games and he seems an ok nr 9 nothing extraordinary. I wouldnt drop or transfer out, but i certainly wouldnt transfer in or captain.

I changed my team around a bit yesterday as I don't believe we will get 2 games from Lukaku.

Yes he is low on confidence, but in the last 4 his SoT & SIB are similar to that of Lukaku. His GA's are actually more than Lukaku.

      Major differential.

He could have a good DGW but it depends how many positions you might have to sacrifice to get him in

If you are trying to predict goals and assists for defenders you will need a lot more data than four games. Over this short period the selected defenders have barely mustered 20 SoT in total which is practically useless as a predictive statistic.

But then, predicting defender attacking points for just two games is probably a mug's game anyway.

Play two of (at least one defender):

    A) Koscielny (NEW)

    E) Loftus - Cheek (car, BRI)

I think both will play twice. Next game will be a week after the first game in the new stadium. Spurs cant afford to lose points so will lineup the strongest team in both games. I d go for Alli since Son has long distance travels and may get a few less minutes. Plus with Kane back Son seems less explosive, everyone is trying to find Kane on the pitch.

You could then afford Schlupp. Reckon Kepa & Laporte score similarly to Ederson & Luiz so not sure: Ederson & Luiz probably slightly more nailed.

For me it's a defender (Laporte) because he's more secure of minutes and points, even if less explosive.

Also don't fancy United defenders this week so the only strong defence i can have includes a City asset.
