I think everyone is worried about a weakened Wolves and Watford, it has a knock on effect on the performance of the whole team.

While many on here will repeat the mantra "points over prices" , this is a prime example why price chasing early on is just as important.
Keep that in mind for next season and good luck.

£103.8 here. For next season, just keep an eye on fplstatistics.co.uk and only make transfers when they make the most sense financially. Ie, wait a few days if a player you want is due to drop, or take a calculated risk if one of your players who you no longer want is going to drop in sell value 🙂

Don't worry about it too much, sometimes the cheaper options are the better ones but people ignore them because they can afford more expensive. Plenty of good mid price options in Jimenez Batshuayi Rashford Martial etc if the United duo is fit ofc.

You probably only need to ditch 1 player from these template teams to be on a par in selecting a decent side. So one of Pogba,Hazard, sterling,aguero, kane etc and that differential might be the one that out do's all comers like a wolves/watford mid.

before the double it looks bad but SV (sale value) does not imply more points, but it takes more time to think maybe, and 4-4-2 for instance this week could be as good as the 3-4-3 or 3-5-2, the former often used when you have less money to spend. It´s basically a third striker in the mould of Jimenez/bats/deeny instead of say Tomkins. I have a lot more and i have something like 2.7m left and my only "upgrade" i can make is either a Manu defender or a spurs mid for palace defender and Jimenez. A spurs mid might possibly look better on paper but to me i rather leave that money itb as i see my picks as better.

If your worried about team value consider going 4 or even 5 at the back. That should clear funds for some big hitters up top. 5 def and gk with 1 clean sheet each over 2 games... thats not to be sniffed at. Also not many will have done this. Could give you an edge.

This involves other players so for me you have to look at the option in defense with Dilva and the mid option you pick. I had initially Laporte and Milli and now i have gone Dilva and Schlupp (i can go for United def but i deem Palace double as better for Cs prospect than Uniteds). To me it bils down to that Schlup on paper have just one good CS chance he boats better chances of attacking returns and Millie could get a pen, but Dilva feels like having a higher ceiling than Millie with that City double. The first one is the dullard one, both guaranteed to play both games in full, the latter ones maybe a bit more subject to rotation.
