whu is a decent GW35 fixture for an on form Vardy... May stick w/ him over Aguero alongside Deeney Jiménez

Thoughts? Allows big spending in mid and defence

Big spending like Sterling Mane Son Eriksen/Pogba Jota and enough ITB for Salah GW36!

    Wildcard uncertainty!

Llorente and moura to start vs huddlesfield and possibly thereafter changes the spurs dynamic completely

Chelsea and arsenal still to play but Emery certainly to change up his team to support the Europa challenge

    One big headache

Disagree with Lineker and co on VAR. Don't think they ever read the rules tbh.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1) "The referee may be assisted by a video assistant referee (VAR) only in the event of a ‘clear and obvious error’ or ‘serious missed incident’ in relation to:

    goal/no goal
    penalty/no penalty
direct red card (not second caution)
mistaken identity when the referee cautions or sends off the wrong player of the offending team"

    2) Except for a ‘serious missed incident’, the referee (and where relevant other ‘on-field’, match officials) must always make a decision (including a decision not to penalise a potential offence); this decision does not change unless it is a ‘clear and obvious error’.

    http://theifab.com/laws/the-referee-2018/chapters/video-assistant-referee-var-2018

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the Rose case the use of VAR was justified as a 'serious missed incident' by the referee. Note that the law uses 'OR' (not 'AND'). It was a penalty/no-penalty decision which falls within the laws as being referable.

As it is referable, the referee then has to watch the replay and decide whether the replay shows a 'clear and obvious error'. Watching the replay it is pretty obvious that the ball hits Rose's hand.

Under the new way the handball rules are being interpreted in the CL (which IS different to the PL) then it is a hand ball and therefore a penalty.

tldr is part of the issue. People don't want to read things any more and then complain when they get caught out. That is true of things like mobile phone contracts too.

He’s Playing in the best home defence outside the top 6, against two shockingly bad away attacks so definitely in the mix

Probably going Son myself as he seemed a yard faster and an inch taller after Kane went off, really seemed to take to the extra responsibility

But Duffy isn’t a bad choice by any stretch

Exactly. Only got yourself to blame.

Made the transfer tonight, before my shift started. As I didn't know whether I had time to make transfer after faem, and I had exact money.

Yes. You should have waited until after the game tonight. You could have then made the switch and had the money to do so. It was a schoolboy error.

              No it's not, mr.know-it-all..
I'm on night shift, I didn't know whether I'd have the time to make the transfers tonight. Obviously I did as I am here now, but I'm on work and didn't know it was going to be a quiet night. So take your pointing finger and turn around, cause you are mistaken sir.

Agree totally. I was taking a hit to get him.

Same. Hazard/Vardy > Son/Kane was my plan for -4. Now I can do Hazard>Son and not take the hit.

I wasn’t going to bring him in, but your point stands. Seen people posting WC drafts on here with most of my non-WC, hit-free team. Got lucky though, with that and the way the fixtures fell (e.g. City double not that appealing). Won’t rush my WC again next season

How about a draft where I change almost every player I had in this afternoon? Exact cash for this:

    Ryan, Foster
    TAA, Laporte, Duffy, Bennett, Valery
    Salah, Eriksen, Sterling, Jota, JWP
    Firmino, Vardy, Jimi

    Vardy > Deeney for GW35

    Thoughts?

    (a) jota and vardy
    (b) jwp and laca

thing putting me off a is having to use ft to get rid of vardy in a few weeks whereas laca could stay all season

If Aguero drops tonight, FPL will be getting a strongly worded email about how slow they are at removing flags. 😡

Kane will now have what physios sometimes call 'chocolate ankles', weaker every time from the same recurring injury ( jack wilshire being one of the worst cases of this). And a lot of it is down to him being rushed back each time it happens.

Wilshire also has what I believe is known as wallnut brain.

    Lloris Foster
    TAA Laporte Doherty Duffy Valery
    Salah Sterling Eriksen Son Camasara
    Lacazette Jimenez Deeney

    Camasara > Hojbjerg for gw35

    Looks juicy to me.

May go Firmino or Vardy over Laca, will wait till Thursday to decide.

He'll probably outscore all Brighton defenders scores from 4 games in that 1 game

I still have him in my squad, unsure he stays though. That Fulham match is tempting to keep him.

Fulham’s last 6 home league games:

      Spurs
      Brighton
      Man Utd
      Chelsea
      Liverpool
      Man City

Only Man City & Man Utd managed clean sheets...

Triple Brighton defense is now the template.

Brighton defence that lost 1-3 at home to Burnley and shipped 4 second half goals away to Fulham?

Makes sense, Cardiff have the worst away attack in the league (only scored 9 away from home all season)... Bourenmouth have only managed 15...

Brighton have conceded the least goals at home outside the top 6...

They’ve a decent chance of a CS or even two, then another double the following week (tough fixs tho) then home to Newcastle after that - no guarantees though, CS’s are hard to come by outside of pool/City and even they are going to be loosened up from champs league

Maybe, but I think Wilson is the better choice from the 2 even with 1 game only.
