I hate this tinkering... Can never decide. 😀

    Foster - Lloris
    TAA - Doherty - Dunk - Valery - Bednarek
    Salah - Son - Hazard - Jota - JWP
    Aguero - Vardy - Jiminez

Feel my defense is too weak, but meh. Going Laporte in my opinion isn't needed for the DGW with those fixtures.

    Any comments on this lot?

Cannot fault the picks really. Biggest danger is if Aguero/Sterling/Son/Eriksen get rested... but we all have that problem if thst happens.

Apologies for my earlier comments on Trippier being injured

Followed the match online and read when it was said he got the hammy injury and it didn't look good...

Didn't know he finished the match. Really sorry for the comments on previous pages

By the way... Was Son limping?

Liking the look of this WC:

    Lloris
    Laporte / Duffy / Dunk
    Salah / Eriksen / Son / Jota
    Aguero / Vardy / Jimenez

    Foster // Robertson / Valery / Hojberg

I suppose Aguero/Eriksen/Son are slight doubts to start in GW34, but imagine at least one may start right? Bench could ride out the rest.

Would probably do Vardy > Deeney for GW35, and [TOT MID] > Mané for GW36. (Or squeeze Firmino in!) No TC Chip left so may need to try and cover Liverpool attacking points with a double-up in attack that week.

    Thoughts?

Is it really worth having a Soto defender?

Seems like every WC team has either Bednarek or Valery but I just don’t see many clean sheets, if any, in Soto until the end of season.

Hi guys, totally understand it's WC & DGW fever on here haha, but with no WC or FH left, and closest rival in second place behind me around 40 adrift, i could do with some guidance on what is best to do here?
    My team at current is:

    Kepa
    Robertson - Laporte - TAA
    Brooks - Sterling - Hazard - Mane
    Wilson - Aguero - Barnes
    ___________________________
    Button: Luiz, Almiron, AWB

    1FT, 0.4 ITB

In light of Kane's injury, was thinking of doing these for -8:

    Kep + Luiz + Barnes >> Lloris + Dunk + Jiminez

Then maybe for -4 in GW35: Almiron + Brooks >> Jota + JWP

I'm a bit stuck here to be honest, don't really know what to do without WC.

Really appreciate any help anyone could offer here

Only way i could get Son is by removing probably Mane or Hazard, or going 352 and bringing in quanar as an ebabler or something.

I think if you're taking a -8, you're right to at least get one BHA asset. Hopefully the easiest way to regain those points.

I'm not sold on Barnes > Jimenez this week. Obviously Jimenez is great, but SOU were not terrible against LIV; Wood & Barnes rerrkries BOU; Cardiff are pretty darn poor. On the last point however, that game will be scrappy as heck. Burnely are one of Cardiff's direct relagation rivals.

It could be a risky move, but I would maybe consider shipping Sterling for a TOT midfielder. Unfortunately there's a risk Sterling starts & does well, or the TOT mid you get is rested... but it could be a good way to grab some value.

And yeah Hazard is an alternative, but at least you know he'll play. Have a feeling he will play well vs. LIV. Whether that converts into points however...

          • 12 Years

Yeah really hesitant to get rid of Hazard, trying not to be too blinded by DGW'ers, and look at each move a little more carefully and in isolation. Maube leave Barnes then for this GW, and bring Dunk + Ryan in for Kepa and luiz for -4? then reassess for DGW 35?

      2. Salah’s Sonnet
        • 12 Years

Yeah i feel a brighton defence asset is important. I agree with that, Barnes could easily grab 1 or 2 couldn't he.
Losing Sterling i'm not liking but i see your point, just a bit torn really as to what to do here with no WC and no FH 🙂

I want Son in and has to be for either Sterling or Hazard for me to be able to fund a proper BB team.

Can't lose Sterling as has DGW

Can't lose Hazard as he has proven many times he can score against Liverpool, has hauled 4 of the last 5 times at Home (other than Spurs where he didn't play 90) and in 35 plays Burnley at home where he could haul again.... oh and as a Chelsea fan I don't want it to be the last time I own him before he goes to Madrid haha
