Absolutely fuming... 14 points clear of my mini league, and thought I'd make a bold choice and take a -8 in order to get Kane in as a differential...

    Mane + Higs -> Ramsey + Kane

How that backfired eyyy. Proper bottle job.

If you make trades before midweek fixtures not on FH or WC you've only got yourself to blame im afraid

Justified if you had exact funds and a price rise/fall would have put the transfers out of reach. Tell me that was the case?

As above: Big risk making transfers before midweek games. If you were going to be priced out then fine, but doesn't look like that was the case... live and learn!

Contemplating this for bb dgw 35
    Current squad
    Ederson, Leno
    Robbo, TAA, Azpi, Schlupp, Valery
    Sterling, Mane, JWP, Jota, Son
    Jimi, Laca, Deeney
    2.1 ITB
    A) sterling, Son, Laca --> Haz, Delof, Aguero
    B) Ederson, JWP, Laca --> Foster, Delof, Aguero
    C) Ederson, Sterling, JWP --> Foster, Delof, Haz
    D) Azpi, Laca , JWP ---> Doherty/Holebas, Aguero, Delof

I do plan on azpi to laporte and ederson to foster post dgw35 but any advice om my current plan would be greatly appreciated

Yeah , dont like hits either, dont have wc but have been considering a hit or at most a -8 wouldnt hurt me in my ML too much ,but of course it has to have its merits
Laca is my main concern but aguero is temtping and would be a lock for rest of season if i did get him for dgw35 or gw36. Cant get aguero without a hit unfortunately

How's this for a WC team? I can't afford Sterling unless I ditch Salah.

    Lloris, Foster
    Robbo, Laporte, Duffy, Doherty, Valery
    Salah, Eriksen, Son, Jota, JWP
    Aguero, Jimmy, Deeney

I like Salah over Sterling, as you have Aguero.

Less panic to get Liveroool attacking assets back in for GW35/36 too.

FPL Statistics has it fairly likely; Fix has it as very unlikely.

Feel that Fix has been more accurate for WC price changes this window, but really you just have to take a chance either way.

If on WC bring him in, in case.

How does this look for BB35?

    Lloris - Ryan
    TAA - Laporte - Luiz - Robbo - Jonny
    Sterling - Hazard - Son - Fraser - Jota
    Jimenez - Deeney - Vardy
    (-12) £0.4m ITB

Can upgrade Vardy to Lacazette if need be

Can also sell Vardy for Aguero and downgrade Lloris/Laporte

Done a lot of planning tonight for the last 5 gameweeks

    Wildcard

    GK Lloris, Foster
DEF Robinson, Doherty, Dunk, Duffy, Kola
MID Sterling, Son, Eriksson, Jota, JWP
    FWD Aguero, Vardy, Jiminez

GW35, Dunk to Hollebas, Vardy to Lacazette for 14 players with a DGW on bench boost

GW36 Lacazette to Firmino and either Sterling or Erikson to Salah or Mane- Triple captain

GW37 ideally a City player in

    GW38 Win all Mini leagues.

I haven't gone with Valery, I don't fancy the Southampton DGW defensively at all, I think 1 Kola assist will outscore Valery.

The GW 35 DGW captain choice is a tough one. Aguero has a great record at home vs Spurs. Maybe Jiminez?! Is Deeney a viable captain choice as I could consider him over Lacazette

    1. Hazz
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

The benefit of Valery is you can bench him without feeling too bad.

The problem (if it even is one) with your team is that Dunk/Duffy/Doherty is your default bench option, plus one of the front 8.

Always some good player/value on the bench. Not an issue for BB but could be for the few GWs afterwards.

    My new draft:

    Ederson / Foster
    Laporte, Taa, Valery, Duffy, Dunk
    Eriksen, Son, Moura, Mane, Jota
    Lukaku, Aguero, Jiménez

All baskets in few eggs 😉

    1. BIG TONES
      • 9 Years
      5 years, 11 days ago

Seems like you want to take a punt or two? Constructive feedback - I don't like fixtures for MCI defence and think TAA could miss a game to Gomez/Milner. Also Moura would be a no from me, and Lukaku too expensive with better options available. Best of luck though!

        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

Chasing about 60 pts, Moura in since Kane out and should be more likely to score than Doucoure. TAA a problem though. Rival has Robbo and getting him in would mean "downgrading" Kaku to Rash.

        1. BIG TONES
          • 9 Years
          5 years, 11 days ago

I would rather have Rash than Lukaku regardless of price! Then use the extra funds to get Robbo/VVD and whoever else you want to upgrade.

WC squad version 57 (playing BB next week) - need to make up 50 points but leader already played WC:

    Ryan
    Laporte Doherty Dunk
    Salah Eriksen Son (VC) Camarasa

Doherty. Arsenal have lots of away games and are gash away from home. Also if the team is struggling, Kola is one of the first players sacrificed. Emery isn't afraid to make subs on halftime or before the 60 min mark.

Not sure anyone noticed, but Kane seems to be hurt. 😉 With the swap to Aguero, I'm now looking at this WC, with 1.1itb leftover.

Save the 1.1 for now, or make some upgrades (but whom)?

    Ryan, Foster
    Robbo, Doh, Trip, Duffy, Valery
    Sterling, Mane, Son, Jota, JWP
    Kun, Jim, Deeney

If choosing Lloris on a WC do you then really need Ryan considering Lloris vs Huddersfield probably equal to Ryan in 34 with just the one fixture vs Brighton's double?...and then considering that you are defo going to be only starting Lloris for the remainder of the season? Surely just get a 3.9 fodder alongside which then leaves you 0.5 extra to upgrade a Brighton defender to someone better in 35? Thoughts anyone?
