FFS Cup

The latest FFS Cup results and fixtures

The latest round of the FFS Cup wittled down our selection of moderators left in the competition.

Blank Gameweek 33 proved costly to G-Whizz, whose score of 58 was beaten by Insanity Later‘s 75.

That denied us the chance to see a Moderator Derby in the sixth round, although Rotation’s Alter Ego still made it through unscathed.

He saw off sirangepostapoosalot by a 85-81 scoreline.

Ranked the highest in round five, at 332 in the world, HPCAMPBELL secured passage to the last 16 with an 83-55 win over Yasar Khan.

Fellow high-flyer Lal Toofan, ranked 639, beat pkalogirou by just one point in an 80-79 victory and is now set for a showdown with Rotation’s Alter Ego.

Vulken is the lowest ranked remaining competitor, currently at 851,620th worldwide.

Is Aguero, Sterling & KDB too much City?

Sacrificing a Pool attacker for next 2 games only.

      way too much

I'm going sterling + laporte only

palace, spurs aren't bad defensively and united is an away derby match, i really don't see the love for city assets

can see palace hold city to a 0-0 draw as well

Palace are without their first choice CBs though.

Spurs would have to do pretty well to frustrate City away from home twice next week.

Aguero is the one im least excited about but he's going to be a template pick and worried about not having him.
Although im pretty sure Pep will have to bench him for one of the games.

I’m going with Aguero KDB And Sterling!
You should do it mate.. yes risky but good punt too if it comes off! Sterling and Kun 2 goals each and KDB 4 Assists will do the job!

Thoughts on this WC team for BB35?

    Lloris - Foster
    Laporte - TAA - Duffy - Dunk - Bednarek
    Salah - Eriksen - Son - Deulofeu - JWP
    Aguero - Jimenez - Vardy (c)

Chasing a 70 point deficit in my ML so need to go for some differentials as rival is on wildcard aswell whilst trying to balance it with leading in a different ML. Thiughts on the below?

    Ryan / Foster
    Valery / Bednarek / Dohetry / Kolasinac / Duffy
    Sterling / Son / Jota / Salah / Hazard
    Murray / Llorente / Auba

Murray will become deeney and potentially duffy to gomez week after

    thanks

No replies a few pages back 🙁

Can someone help me out with interpreting the player comparison data please?

    If you have two players:

    54% +4 key vs 46% +7 key

and the former has a double gw (two reasonable fixtures), the latter one reasonable fixture, does it follow that choosing the former is a no-brainer?

    Thank you
    - a humble no-brainer.

It def could pay off big

They are v good home fixtures and we know he has attacking threat. The main issue is the gamble on the CS. They aren’t adverse to leaking a goal or 2 even when they are winning a match

Ta, I try do this aswell tbf.

      1. Don Kloppeone
        • 6 Years
        5 years, 14 days ago

Personally think because of rotation stress of both Kun and Sterling that you can lose one and do loads with the cash

If taking that big Moura punt then I would prob lose Eriksen only as Son will be a vital cog now that Kane is out

But for B would you consider Kun and Martial?

      Sterling & Deeney

      And get Salah in 36?

Sterling and Deeney. Not sold on United assets tbh.

Money no object who would you have in midfield in addition to Eriksen, Son, Mané? I will prob have Kun and Sterling just seems like such a rotation risk and has a tough dgw?

Jota has to be in convo.

Jota and then take a punt? Maybe Martial, Pogba?

Think I've settled on this. Thoughts please
    Llloris, Foster
    Laporte, Robertson*, Doherty*, Duffy, Valery*
    Mane*, Eriksen, Son, Jota, JWP*
    Aguero, Jiminez, Deeney

Could swap * with TAA, Boly, Bednarek, Salah, Holjberg

Like it a lot. Defo don't do the swaps.

If no major news before deadline, my final WC draft looks like this, any thoughts, propositions?

    Ryan - Foster
    Duffy - Dunk - Laporte - Robbo - Valery
Eriksen - Son - Mane - De Bruyne - Camarassa
    Aguero - Deeney - Jimenez

For 35 BB I will happily take -4 and get Doherty instead of Dunk and one of JWP/Jota/Doucoure for Camarassa.

Jota imo. Looks good though, not sure on KDB and Aguero but could work

For KDB understand that it`s a punt, but very optimistic about his benching yesterday and terrible game by City without him, I think now time to use him like a central person for City.
For Kun, he is a big game player, was subbed yesterday so early, that I think he can play vs Palace and games on next week too.

I thought Wildcard players couldn't go up or down in budget?

I removed Aguero who was 11.8 now I can buy him back for 11.7 Mil?

Many use 1st Wildcard early in season to build team value, did you not use one earlier in season?

Can someone try convince me on Jota - Can't look beyond the possibiblity of Nuno rotating the forwards, bringing in Troare and Cav into the picture more towards the end of the season. Watford on the other hand have to maintain form for key players - Deulofeu is an important player for them and they will want him to maintain form.

Jota and Jimenez is the best partnership. Wolves seemed to look way less threatening in extra time when Jota went off in 89th min. Also, Deeney as said his preferred partner is Andre Gray. I like both Delu and Jota

Wolves will also want 6th as it is possible to get Europa league

Hi all, is this WC/35BB draft too weak in mid? Leaves me zero itb.

    Loris/Foster
    TAA, Duffy, Dunk, Doherty, Bednarek
    Salah, Sterling, Son, Cama, Hojbjerg
    Aguero, Vardy, Jiminez

Had Deeney over Vardy before Kane injury and have somehow since convinced myself I can't go without the Leicester man, so weirdly I now have less money to play with!

    Many thanks.

Yup. Sterling > KDB or Salah > Mane will allow for Jota / Delef / JWP

Or go with Eriksen from 34 and get the liverpool fella(s) in in 36 on FT(s) ......that' what I'm doing, FWIW

The captain poll could do with a rest once Kane is confirmed out
