Aguero and Sterling start for Man City at Crystal Palace

Fantasy Premier League managers who backed Manchester City’s key attackers were handed a boost on Sunday afternoon.

Sergio Aguero (£11.7m) and Raheem Sterling (£11.5m), who some feared would be rotated ahead of a big Champions League match, have both been named in the starting line-up.

They are joined in the side by Kevin de Bruyne (£9.7m) who has now started five of the last six Premier League matches.

There will be plenty for those with a tactical interest in this encounter as Benjamin Mendy (£6.1m) and Leroy Sané (£9.3m) have both been selected in the starting XI.

It will be of great importance to analyse how those two players interact with each other given what they have offered Fantasy managers at various stages this season.

Meanwhile, Bernardo Silva (£7.6m) has shaken off his yellow flag to make the bench and Fernandinho (£5.3m) misses out with a knock.

As expected, Crystal Palace are down to their second-string in the centre-back department with Mamadou Sakho (£4.9m) and James Tomkins (£4.3m) out injured.

It will be Martin Kelly (£3.9m) and Scott Dann (£4.4m) tasked with schackling Aguero this afternoon.

Up front, there is a surprising selection by Roy Hodgson, who has benched Michy Batshuauyi (£6.5m) to give Christian Benteke (£6.3m) a first start since Gameweek 26.

Man City XI: Ederson, Walker, Kompany, Laporte, Mendy, Gundogan, Silva, De Bruyne, Sane, Sterling, Aguero.

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita, Wan Bissaka, Kelly, Dann, Van Aanholt, McArthur, Milivojevic, Schlupp, Townsend, Benteke, Zaha.

The most annoying recreational activity known to man?

Chess (losing), poker (bad beat), tennis (ball not going where you want it to) all come to mind but is anything even close to FPL? Is there such a thing?

There can't be many games that so much based on luck instead of skill, most games will surely be 70-80% skill or more

      FPL must be 60-70% max

I see it more as a game of bingo. The captain choice, that is.

Disclaimer: I sold Sterling and bought Aguero. For a hit.

Just like a bad beat in poker I bet you only remember the things that hurt your points and don't recall the dodgy assist assignments, offside goals that were given, your defender getting subbed just before they lose the clean sheet etc. that benefited your team.

This game really does leave me feeling miserable sometimes. Laporte & Aguero owner, left Sterling behind on my wildcard. On for 20 points plus Mané, Robbo, Duffy, Murray and Camarasa to go. Rotten.

Respect to Hodgson and Ray Lewington. Not sure how many other teams would put up such a resolute performance with both first choice CB's out. Clearly a team that are well coached and work hard for each other.

Agreed, some of our fanbase don't appreciate the organisational training behind the scenes work he has done for us. We not lost a game by more than 2 goals all season.

Milvojevic is the most frustrating player to not own. 100% I’m getting him next season from GW30 onwards.

He did exactly the same last season going on a massive scoring run
